@sjn00, sorry for the spotting, it's the worst. I have spotted every time I have been pregnant, usually from around week 5-9, so I am just sitting here waiting for it to start.
I think I'm finally having some symptoms. I posted in the beginning about cramps but they've subsided thank god. Frequent urination, gas, sore boobs, lots of CM, some fatigue, slight mood swings, and bloat. Man the bloat. By the end of the night I look like I'm 3-4 months pregnant. My boobs have also started to grow slightly, I was not expecting this so early but I can't complain After my son my boobs shriveled up to almost nothing so I'm excited to get some boobs again. I'm also excited to try breastfeeding this time!
My boobs are finally sore! LOL. Well, more so my nipples, but I'm happy to have a more concrete symptom. Was also a little nauseous yesterday, and yeah, my bedtime is like 9pm at the latest.
@beena722 I hear ya on the bloat! In the morning it's not too bad, but by evening I'm like
I think a got a hot flash this morning. I've never had one, it was the weirdest feeling. It started in my lower abdomen (which had me googling things like "pregnant uterus radiating heat" ffs) then moved up to my stomach, then my neck. It wasn't super uncomfortable persay, but I was like WTF is happening is my baby gonna get too warm? Now it's passed and I hope it stays gone.
Hey so for those suffering from terrible bloat, are you taking gummy prenatals or the pill form? FWIW, switching to gummies made a HUGE difference for me.
The bloat was horrendous my first pregnancy when I was taking NatureMade prenatals. It was so bad that when I had my first ultrasound at 8 weeks (which is a vaginal ultrasound) I threw up right in the office when the ultrasound tech put the magic wand thing in me (pretty sure magic wand is the official name for that ) The pressure of it combined with the pressure of all the gas was excruciating and I just barfed everywhere. It was awful. My OB suggested I try gummies and it was a freaking miracle, the bloat almost completely went away.
I have mild cramping (though last night I woke up with severe lower abdomen pain, which I think was either gas or constipation pain... it didn't last too long and no spotting..) Boobs are tender. I'm also exhausted. I forced myself to stay awake until 9pm last night... And I'm a bit emotional. Like crying over food that gets stolen.
For the moms struggling with constipation. Try taking some probiotics. They really help!!!! I take probiotic pearls on a daily basis and they are my life savers.
nauseous and sore boobs. The feeling sick comes and goes. Before if I ate it would go away this time not so much. Plus being tired. One thing i'm surprised by is I'm not as emotional this time around, I'm a little irritable but not crying or sad or over dramatic like I was last time. I hope that one lasts.

@kmalls I take gummy PNV and I still have bloat but I also take progesterone suppositories so who knows. Regular PNV have iron in them so the iron could of been causing extra constipation which would cause more bloat. I take the gummy PNV because iron makes me sick.
Edit: To add I also take extra fiber supplement to help keep things moving.
So much bloat, but oh well. Making my body image miserable though. I go back and forth between consitpation and diarrhea which sucks and makes me never want to leave my house lol. I had my first meltdown yesterday because of overwhelm and i suspect a hormone surge based off a sudden intensity of symptoms. I am on medication for anxiety and depression, but I dont want to up my dose. So im trying to just power through it until I meet with an OB.
I'm struggling with the cramping. I do not remember it being this bad. Nausea is intermittent. Boobs are sore and huge, but that's manageable. The cramping is worrisome, as it's in my back and front, but I'm assured it's normal. It almost feels like beginning stages of back labor.
Why am i so hot today?? I've been sweating all morning and usually I'm the one turning the thermostat up to 80. I don't remember this starting so early with my first LO.
The insomniaaaaaaaaaa! I go to sleep just fine, wake up a few hours later and stare at the ceiling for hours. Totally new to me. Other than that I was pretty sick last Saturday morning to the point that I threw up. Possibly implantation day?
Is anyone else noticing that their hair is way more oily/greasy than before? This totally happened last time I was pregnant too but I figured it was the products I was using and not a symptom... but now it is happening again and it is so annoying!

@sapphires-and-diamonds - 100% the same. The insomnia is killing me. Doesn't matter how exhausted I am, I toss and turn and silently plot to murder DH over his snoring all night. It's the worst.

Hey! it would be much easier to tag/interact if you updated your user name. You can do it by logging into theknot.com and make sure you log out/in after for it to change. Dry shampoo is my new bff! I love the Living Proof formula
@Dumbgurl04 I'm definitely more irritable than emotional. MH has been on my nerves and poor thing hasn't done anything wrong. Oh well
Totally the same!!!! My poor DH is getting the brunt of my emotions and i just keep snapping at him. Later ill realize how mean I was and start crying. Oh well he's gotta get envolved somehow LOL.
Turns out that my incredibly painful boob was mastitis! First I thought the painful boob was a combo of rising pg hormones and #1 still nursing, but later that morning I went on my usual walk and became feverish and nauseous. Put it off to being a little behind on my water intake. Guzzled some water when we got home, put #1 down for a nap. Was feeling even worse, dizzy, achey, uncoordinated, so I took some Tylenol and laid down for the 2 hours #1 napped. Woke up and still had a fever. So I did what any adult does and called mom. Her first response was "it's not mastitis is it?". I lifted my shirt and sure enough blotchy red boob with red streaks reaching my arm pit. After a couple days of treatments my boobs are back to normal, but that is again leaving me symptomless for the pregnancy. Guess I was into my 6th week last go around before symptoms really hit so I should be enjoying my last week free on them.

I just got hit like a ton of bricks. Was feeling total nornal until I got to work and now I feel like crap! It feels like I'm developing heart burn which I have never had before but I can imagine this is what it would feel like. Im also cramping and I feel super nauseous. Ugh.
FU RLP! I don't remember it this early or intense with DS. I adjusted myself on the couch and had to breath through the pain. Man I'm still so early and this pregnancy is nothing like the other so far.
Sore, swollen boobs were my first symptom and started prob right around implantation. Super tired, cramps come and go though I've been getting sharp pains when I twist to get up or laugh/cough while I'm laying on my side or something, so weird. The nausea has been gradually building. No puking yet but certain things are making me feel sick to my stomach and I just feel like total S today.
@dirtyboots oh you poor thing!!! Mastitis is HORRIBLE!!! Glad you're feeling better.
It is not something to be messed around with. I didn't even consider mastitis beings we are a year into nursing. Thought it was more of an early on thing, plus I've never had plug ducts either. Maybe the pg is throwing the balance off? Idk. So glad to have the worst of it over.

Oh, the emotions! I wasn't prepared for them! I started balling last night because MH put ketchup on his pizza... which is gross, but not sob-worthy.
this is my first pregnancy and over the past 2-3 days I have been noticing really sore muscles in my right butt cheek that goes halfway down into my inner thigh. I feel like it's getting worse. It feels like I ran a marathon..which I definitely have not. Call me lazy, but there's definitely nothing I have done to warrant this. It's not a sharp shooting pain and it does not ache. I notice it when I stretch or walk or move my legs. When I'm resting it doesn't hurt at all. Is this a pregnancy symptom or something completely unrelated? Thanks!!!
I started having light bleeding and spoting lastinght and today. I called the DR the sent me for a STAT blood test. Impatiently awaiting the results. Positive vibes for good levels please....kinda of freaking out

@alweldon86 fx for you that it's nothing and all is well! Seems like many here have experienced that as a normal-for-them symptom in past pregnancies so hopefully that gives you a little more reassurance/positivity!
