I have yet to hear back from her. I figure if I get there and find out the other per diem is scheduled, I'm calling dibs on going home.

On the first of every month, and the first day of the year, I say "rabbits, rabbits, rabbits" for good luck! My choir teacher in high school was telling us about it, and it's stuck with me ever since. It's supposed to be the first thing you say that day, but that's usually not the case for me. But I still say it anyway, just in case!

R/R: Rant - all the rants, but not going there. Rave - The beef & noodle soup turned out really good last night. Made homemade egg noodles to put in it. Super easy recipe, and easy to do, it just makes my hands tired from kneading, thankfully I got DH to help me towards the end. He hates doing stuff like that, but he's so damn good at it. Also, I finally have a blossom on my spaghetti squash plant!
CS/Q: Nope, my chart is useless this month, but here are some pictures cause they make me laugh (the seagull is my personal favorite).
I always eat my disgusting fortune cookie before reading the fortune, aside from that nah.

R/R: Possible TW* I dragged my SS to the lake with me while I walked the dogs. He had no interest in going, but since it was a beautiful day, I was not going to let him stay and play video games. Then he got swimming and typical kid, he didn't want to leave. *TW. I woke up with wicked sinus pressure this morning. But I think I managed to sweat it out at the gym.

When an eyelash falls out, I still blow it away and make a wish. Leftover salt goes over the shoulder. And if a ladybug lands on me, they are allowed to stay until they are ready to leave.

WAYDTGKU: Well, currently on BC and hopefully in 10 days my cysts will be gone and I will have a faux-period and then I start the next cycle. But maybe not, and then I will have to have an ovidrel injection and wait 2 more weeks.

WAYDTGKU: Today I'm yelling at my ovary to hurry up already.
R/R: Acupuncture was good yesterday but somehow not as effective seeming as the first time - the first time I was wiped out tired but also was relaxed for almost a week afterwards, this time not so much. He did different points though so I guess that is to be expected. All my rants seem really petty at the moment - like, I'm tired of HIO because my cyst is acting up. But really I should just be thankful for MH and his can-do attitude as we wait for O.
CS/Q: Not really a question, but I have been getting positive OPKs since evening of CD12, and this morning was so positive the test line was much darker than the control so, still have not O'd. Chart in spoiler.

On the eyelashes I read a short story once where the character just wished for "good" instead of wishing specific so that's what I do too.

@mileswithmyles Oh, I'd be a grump without food. Hopefully your day today is better! And I am usually okay with caffeine up until about 1-2pm. I drank it was before that, but it had alllllll the caffeine in it, apparently.
@catlady1215 I think I've been more sensitive to it, too, because I have cut down on my coffee consumption. I haven't even touched my morning dose yet today.

@mileswithmyles this is the recipe I've been using, if you can call it a recipe lol https://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/homemade-pasta/ It's essentially 1 cup flour to 2 eggs, knead until smooth not sticky/tacky, let sit, roll out thing, boil in well seasoned water. It's actually really easy

@zamora_spin. I buy it. Starbucks is pretty good, but I usually get it at a local place. I tried making it once & it miserably failed. The flavor in cold brew vs iced coffee is really different. (at least I notice it)

R/R: Rave - medical procedure is over and done with and everything went smoothly. I can eat real food again! Also, we're gearing up for vacation now (we leave on Sunday), so that will be fun. Rant - I have to get work done before we leave, and I don't wanna!
CS/Q: No specific question. It looks like I'm still alternating O days month to month, and this month will likely be between cds 14 and 16. As long at happens before we leave for vacation, any day is fine with me! We'll be staying with MHs parents, so hoping I'll be in the TWW by then.

@zamora_spin Glad to hear that you are enjoying acupuncture so far. I enjoy it too. Although who knows if it is effective?! I tend to get a few days of positive OPK's before my temp spikes too. So I would think in the next couple days you will be off to the TWW. Sorry about the cyst, but its awesome to hear that YH is being a trooper and staying positive!

@labgrand2012 Yes, my chocolate lab LOVES to swim. I can not keep him out of the water for the life of me. It is to the point where he will even do his business in a puddle if he can find one lol.

@Stargazer1lily @dragonette505 We have a saying here that no one cries over a cancelled meeting! I share in that relief that comes when plans are cancelled. It doesn't mean we don't love the people or enjoy them when we're there, but an opening of a calendar sure is nice too!

@darkstar42 Keeping my FX that ovulation is happening when it works for you and you can enjoy a peaceful vacation with family. I hate that work cramming before the vacation, I feel like it makes it that much harder to unwind when you're actually on vacation!

@mileswithmyles how long have you been a runner? I remember when I did little half's, my girlfriends and I had a whole routine and so help any girl who tried to deviate! It's funny how a big race can really get inside your brain!
@doxiemoxie212 really glad DH is feeling better. Funny how guys can be about illness, some of them so stoic, others are babies. Mine is a bit the latter!

R/R: rant: I have no idea what is going on with my chart. This is the first cycle I'm actually doing things properly, temping and noting CM. The only issue is I'm taking temps with variability of about 90 minutes. I need to set a time and stick to it. rave: this board brings me so much comfort. thank you everyone for your patience with a newbie!
CS/Q: My OPK's say the surge is gone (first positive on Friday) and now I'm getting a tiny bit of EW after no evidence all weekend. BODY what are you trying to tell me!!!

GTKY: Do you have any habits or traditions for luck/fortune/etc. that you do? (i.e.: rubbing a rabbits foot before a meeting) Whenever I compete in a horse competition, I say "merde" before I go in the ring. And then pet my horse profusely and pray we are safe and not embarrassed.
I completely have to second the help and support of these amazing ladies, they really are the bomb!
