New girl in town and slightly overwhelmed...(loss mentioned)

Hello Everyone!
As you can tell, I am new around here and seeking some support and advice on this emotional journey.  My husband and I have been married since 2011 and TTC since 2014.  We did finally get pregnant after 10 months of trying, but unfortunately miscarried after 10 weeks.  Since then we have not had any success, even after various tests and fertilitiy medications.  We made the decision to see a fertility specialist in February 2017 and have been on the IVF journey since.  Our first IVF cycle began in April when we had our ER.  We decided to do PGD testing on the 3 embryos that survived, then continue with our FET after a month long break.  Our first FET was scheduled for June, but was unfortunately cancelled.  Then finally, we just had our first FET on July 13 and so far feeling great!  I would love to be able to talk to other ladies who are on this same journey for to offer and give support and advice.
Me- 32 DH- 35. Married 9/2011
TTC since 6/2014
4/2015 BFP...m/c @10.5 weeks
6/2016 started clomid for 6 cycles
9/2016 HSG- right tube blocked
4/2017- started stims ER-11 eggs, 7 fertilized, 3 blasts, 2 PGD normal
6/2017-cancelled FET, ovulated naturally
7/13/2017-FET, 1 embryo transferred 
7/19/2017-BFP! Beta test 7/24
3/26/18- Baby Boy! 
8/2019- started Lupron shots
9/4/2019-FET, 1 male embryo transferred
9/11/2019-BFP! 1st beta: 211  2nd beta: 822

    No advice or knowledge of IVF as that journey was cancelled before we got to it from severe MFI. 

    Good luck in your journey and prayers for your FET to stick and grow into a healthy boy or girl.

    GL!!!  I havent cycled yet, but we are hoping to do PGS and get lots of nice embies for our future family too!  Welcome.

    @Prayingfor2  Thank you for the well wishes. I am sorry you had bad luck with your ivf journey.  Do you mind if I ask about the severe MFI? Is it too bad for ICSI?  I know that is usually what is done when MFI is the case.  I really hope you can find a solution!

    @BusinessWife Thank you!    It was a long journey of good moments(very few) and bad moments before we finally got here.  Right now we are cautiously happy with our little one, as we know what it feels like to get very excited then have our hopes completely shattered.  I really recommend the PGS testing as it takes a lot of the anxiety out of the procedures.  At least you will know before each transfer that your embryo has the best chance it can get.  Without the testing you just go in blindly and have more chances for disappointment.  

    TW...Since our first miscarriage was most likely due to genetic problems, it was very helpful for us to start with genetic testing.  Since we had no other problems that could be discovered it made us feel much better. So far everything has gone very well and we are having our first U/S next week!

    After several SAs with either less than 5mil or 0 sperm count, we were refered to a Urologist for a biopsy. The TESE showed that the sperm available have poor morphology (no tails.) The Urologist also expects there to be chromosome issues which could present major birth defects and/or failed success in pregnancy and it is not advised for us to undergo IVF at this time without a sperm donor. We made the decision to use a sperm donor but to try the IUI procedures first since my fertility is normal based on Labs and US and mothering one child previously. 

    He was refered back to PCP to complete Labs work to rule out/confirm issues with his Y chromosome. If it is treatable, we may have the option for a sibling in a few years, but the risk of miscarriage/developmental issues will rise even with my aging.

     @prayingfor2 Oh wow...that really sucks, but at least there is an option with the sperm donor and hopefully the chance to treat his issue down the road! Don't give up yet!  Good luck in your journey!
