Had a wait, what?! moment this morning. Totally didn't realize that 25 weeks = 6mo pregnant. I guess I thought "[x]mo" pregnant was measured more by the number of complete months you have been pregnant, not the number month of the pregnancy.
Yep! We are almost to third tri! Which is totally crazy. I'm not going to start "prepping for baby" until September. I need late August to breathe and then move ahead with baby stuff.
The heat index 'feel like' temp is supposed to be 100-105 today. It will be hotter in the mail truck obviously and my poor fiance has to tear down a roof today. I'm so ready for it to be October already.
My maternity work pants keep falling down. I feel like a city hoodlum from 15 years ago, walking around with my hand on my waistband to keep it from falling (in theory) only to have to hike them up every few steps. So professional.
After telling me I was an a-hole for yet again asking DH to hang two things on the wall, which have been waiting since December and we talked about exactly where to put it....he finally hung them. My house is coming together. I bought one of those doggie dens you see on Pinterest and it's on its way!! So excited to get this foyer usable.
Ya we can have a reasonable size cooler. I have a big lunchbox type as you only have so much room with everything else in the truck. I freeze bottles of water and lemonade so they stay cold a little bit longer cause I will not drink warm water unless I'm on the verge of death.
@amber0529 that's good. If you haven't heard of them before, yeti cups are amazing. They are pricey but maybe worth it if you're not able to keep your drinks cold all day. I can fill my cup with ice and water at dinner time and it will still have ice in the morning. I left it in the hot car for severa hours yesterday and still had ice in it all day.
We have Yeti cups because my fiance's dad does hydro dipping on them but there's no cup holder in the mail truck and I'm afraid it would fall and make a mess. At least water bottles have a cap when they go flying.
The last couple of days I have been taking long naps and have no energy or motivation. I hope to be productive again tomorrow. I don't know if it is due to my Narcolepsy or not, but I had much more energy earlier in the 2nd trimester. I might have to kick my butt and get stuff done.
I knew I would most likely wake up super sore today from walking business plazas for 4 1/2 hours yesterday. Not only did I wake up super sore but I woke up sick. WTF it's the middle of summer, this is not cold season!
Same here too. I'm having a hard time getting out of bed in the AM. I feel beyond tired all the time. Makes for getting the nursery put together impossible.
I had one good day yesterday where my hips felt ok. Then I over did it. Got zero sleep last night, wicked heartburn/throwing up today but at least for the first 8 hours of my shift Im being a monitor tech on my unit because our called out and there was no one to replace. All good until I have to throw up and wait for someone to take my seat.
