Why My SO is Driving Me Absolutely Insane 7/28

I figured it might be time to have one of these. I've been noticing the honeymoon stage of the first tri may be wearing off for some ;)

Re: Why My SO is Driving Me Absolutely Insane 7/28

  • All the normal stuff he does that bothers me is amplified by my moodiness lately. Sooo, leaving his dirty underwear on the bathroom floor, not recycling correctly, leaving stuff on the counter that's literally RIGHT ABOVE the dishwasher instead of just putting it in the dishwasher, not doing any dishes ever... Yeahhhh.... Lol.

  • DH has pretty severe sleep apnea and has a cpap machine. It's usually wonderful because it doesn't make any noise and he doesn't snore with it. Well he hasn't ordered new masks in forever, which I think is what's causing this, but his mask keeps making noises at night that he apparently doesn't notice. I CANNOT sleep if their are any kind of noises happening, so there have been many late night arguments happening  :s

  • DH works outside so this time of year, at the end of the day, he's totally wiped. We'll have dinner and then get comfy and put a movie on, but more often than not, he falls asleep during the movie. I only care if it's a movie that we've been waiting to watch, or a movie that I love that I really want him to watch. But if it's a movie we've seen a million times, whatever... let him pass out.

But the last two nights he picked the movie, and they were crappy. Once he was asleep, I turned the movies off and watched something else, and he woke up and was like "hey what's going on? what happened to the movie?" So then I'd put the crappy movie back on and he'd fall asleep within 10 minutes again. Lol I mean I'd hardly call this driving me insane, but it's annoying for sure.

This made me laugh, as this is the same in our house accept the other way round.
Hubby puts a movie on and I'm always the one that's asleep in 10 mins lol.
He annoys me so much as we always end up arguing about it because he's annoyed I never watch anything with him. But I'm wiped out at the moment and no matter what I do, I just can't keep my eyes open.  :D
