R/R: RANT! I've been experiencing horrid cramps/pains in my lower abdomen for about 1.5 weeks now. Since ovulation has come and gone, I really don't think it's ovulation pain. Plus, when DH and I did the deed it hurt SO bad. Went to my doctor, test results all normal. So I have a couple ultrasounds today!

CS/Q: by me asking this... I am by no means diagnosing myself cause it's only happened twice (but 2 cycles to close for comfort so I want to watch it). And these would be on the high end of 'short'. But is it considered a short LP when your temp drops by a certain dpo? Or when AF comes? Like my temp dropped at 11dpo. But if AF still doesn't come today and comes tomorrow, 13dpo... would that make it a not short LP? Am i making sense?
GTKY: What's your favorite zoo animal? so tough! I love watching the lions/tigers cause they're big ol cats lol. But monkeys/gorillas are so fun. Annnd the sea lions really put on a show. Love the zoo

@andreaamadei625good luck today. Have you ever had cysts? I used to get them, finding a comfortable @andreaamadei625 was even tough. Luckily I haven't had them in years.

@catlady1215 I believe LP starts the day after ovulation (ie day you first see temp rise) and continues until the day before your next menstrual cycle (ie day before AF arrives). So the temp drop would not be counted as the end of the LP. I know some people see a temp drop several days before AF, whereas others do not see a temp drop until AF arrives or even a few days after.

R/R: today is my birthday! We're going to napa with my family which is always fun. I'm a little annoyed my birthday isn't bringing more baby luck, but it's okay. I just hope AF stays away today lol.

Is it 10 then? I tried to google and I'd randomly see 11. That's why I was thinking high of short. My temp has never hit coverline at 11dpo and this is twice recently now. So I wanted to learn alittle more about it all.

@thatcrazyauntie to answer your question, yes -4 does fall into the FW; however, FF does not include it. actually -5- O, and some say +1, is the standard FW, though +1 is less likely to result in a pregnancy. if I can find the link to that study that was posted a while back I will be sure to tag you.

@catlady1215 I know @dukestar5 answered, but yes you made sense in asking the question, and no, the LP would not "end" the day of the temp drop. 13 day LP is not considered short. You may have been asked this/had it suggested to you, but have you read Taking Charge of Your Fertility? I have found it to be a great resource to refer back to time and again. Totally worth the $20 on amazon (or 14 for the kindle version)

GTKY: What's your favorite zoo animal? My home town has a pretty fantastic, quality zoo. The animals have large habitats and seem well cared for, don't know why I felt the need to say that, but anyway. I always enjoy watching the orangutans. They seem so smart. We did a "behind the scenes" tour with a family friend and he shared a story about one of the orangutans using one of the toys/props they have to escape the habitat and roam around the zoo. apparently he eventually got bored and just went back "home"

GTKY: What's your favorite zoo animal? I love water animals. Peguins are my favorite zoo animal but I really love seeing dolphins in the wild or Sea World. I also enjoy the otters and seals and polar bears. I really just love the zoo. We've already been twice this summer will probably try to go again in the fall sometime.

Testing: I'm still not planning on testing unless my miss my period but now that I know that I'm getting close enough that a test would be accurate I'm getting kind of itchy.... **Trigger warning kids. Also, I have three kids and I have never gotten pregnant the first or second month. I'm just not one of those girls so I don't have very high hopes for the cycle.
R/R I got a great run in at the gym today. I am working on losing a couple of pounds but it's hard. Temptation is everywhere in the summer!
