App Recommendations

I haven't seen a thread for this yet, but if there is already one, please ignore.

What are your favorite pregnancy tracking apps? What about bump photo apps (that allow you to edit and do fun things for how many weeks you are pregnant)?

Drop any fun ones here!

I'm using TB and Ovia for information and Day One for my journal.  I also use Baby Pics for editing pics (love the stickers)!

Ovia - for cute size comparisons and their food and drug safety lists

WebMD - for their illustrations, including ones that show what's going on in your body (like organs shifting to make room)

Pregnancy + - also for their illustrations

They each offer some slightly different info on development so I like to read them all.

  • So this one isn't a pregnancy tracker per se but I wanted to share with you all as I LOVED it for my first pregnancy and DS.... Tweekaboo . I used it to take the pictures of my belly and what I did was journal for each week on how I was feeling and little notes to the baby from me.  My sister had a journal back when she had my nephew who is now 12 and he thought it was the best thing ever to read what she was thinking, her wishes for him and wonders about him before he arrived.  I have it done for my DS..Haven't printed the book yet (they auto put it together for you!! best part and you can share it with people).
  • One second every day is an AWESOME app if you want to track every day! I use it for DD and have been doing it since 1/1/17 and it's so cool to see how much she has changed! I bet you could do it for pregnancy belly tracking too!
  • I like Ovia pregnancy for every day check in on baby girl.

I have Baby Pics+ (I paid the extra few bucks) for pictures - they seriously have the best stickers out there.

And I found Full Term for when I go into labor - it's supposed to be a really good contraction counter.  I'm going to have H download it as well.

@antoto - Full Term is awesome, I used it with both of my pregnancies prior to this and it's a great tool to track contractions. Highly recommend!
  • Love Ovia's food and medication look up.

Also, Google photos is a must!! It auto backs up all pictures from your phone so you never have to miss a picture due to lack of storage space. And your pics are searchable in the app...Cue me searching "smiling baby" all the time!

    Great recommendations on this thread!!
  • @sardavbak thanks for the recommendation! I want to try that this time! Is that the name of the actual app?
  • Not a pregnancy app - but for one post baby's arrival: Qeepsake. It's an app that texts you a question a day about your child that you can answer, and it lets you upload photos and then you can order a book whenever. It's the lazy/uncreative person's version of baby book and I love it! The questions get a little repetitive after a year - but they are open ended enough that you can usually morph it into a response about what you did that day and make it work!

I still have my Full Term records from last time.  It'll be fun to compare this time to last, I think!
