Lol -- headless bodies are so weird! I really liked my dress. I'm not sure I looooved it like some people do, but dress shopping was super overwhelming and I kept feeling drawn back to this one, so it was the winner!
I did love my dress. And I had been dress shopping with my parents but didn't find anything. I stopped in a dress shop after work and fell in love. I think it's hilarious that I found it when I didn't have anyone with me. But it was perfect.
@mdfarmchick I don't have the energy to find and crop a pic right now, but I'm pretty sure I had the same wedding dress as you!!! (So obviously I really like yours lol.)
I LOOOOOVED my dress! But if I had to do it over again I would have gotten something much lighter. We got married in August and I was wearing a comforter. I was sweating profusely!
All of my wedding photos were on my last computer, and they are now on an external hard drive that I'd have to go get..so this is all I could find on this computer without too much of a struggle I played dressup with DD last summer with all of my old prom/homecoming dresses, and I took out my wedding dress (put me in the camp of people who haven't had their dress preserved...yet...) and my DD melted. It was fun to show her my "princess" dress
@arhodes6@hullabalou Your dresses have such unique details - they are both super pretty too
@kitandcat Love the dress transformation. And I had royal blue bridesmaids dresses too!
@LiveNLove44 Haven't made mine preserved either. I just can't see a future child of mine wanting to wear it (or be short enough to wear it as DH is 6'2" and I'm 5'4") BUT I also cannot bring myself to sell or donate it. Hopefully DD will be as impressed with it one day are as your DD was. Such a cute story.

Mine had a train, to this day I don't know why I let my bridesmaids hook up before portraits or why I took off my long veil. Oh well! I still love it 4 years later, my dream dress!! Vera Wang White Collection from Davids Bridal.
Can't see the whole thing, but it was just a simple a line with a train. I loved it and felt beautiful, but if I could go back I would have straps because I kept pulling it up while dancing!
The dresses on here are beautiful! Love seeing everyone's different styles.
Here is mine... I loved it! I saw it in a bridal magazine before I went dress shopping and knew I had to try it on. It was the first one I tried on at the shop and after all of the others I kept coming back to this one!

10/2014 - Bloodwork normal, HSG all clear
10/2014 - DH's SA 15mil/mL, 35% motility, 6% morphology
Loving all these dresses! My dress was off the rack because I planned my wedding in 4 weeks and didn't have time to order one. I don't love it now, if I could do it all over again I would choose a different style. My flowers were so heavy my arms were shaking in all my pictures!
Not a 'funny' story, but 2 days before the wedding I had my dress hanging up on a wire hanger. The hanger buckled because the dress was so heavy and fell down into the dress cutting a huge tear down the back. I was sobbing. My mom ended up cutting it off and there was so much tulle you couldn't even tell! I've been traumatized by wire hangers ever since and refuse to hang up any clothes on them. Plastic hangers for life.

I love this thread! So many beautiful dresses. Here's mine, it was a little ill-fitting because I lost too much weight after my final fitting (a happy whoops, I guess).

Sorry if it's super big. May come back later to post actual picture of my dress. Loving this thread!

My funniest dress memory was when my two bridesmaids had to hold my dress up while I peed. We were all pretty drunk. One of them slapped my ass. Lol
