1) How far along are you? How big is baby?

21 weeks today, he's a bunch of vegetables that I never cook with and therefore don't know the sizes of, but also a Chipotle Moe's burrito*, a dragon's egg from GOT, or a TI-89 graphing calculator.

2) How are you feeling?
Feeling good, but I really need to cool it with giving in to every chocolate/baked goods craving, I've gone from not gaining any weight 1st tri to gaining about a pound a day in the last week. Yikes!
Also feeling (only the slightest bit) guilty that I just ate a (cold) Italian sub for lunch. It's the first salami I've eaten since my BFP and it was the most delicious thing I've ever put in my mouth.

4) Any appointments this week/last?

None, just have regular 4-week checkups until September

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?

Rant: My office is so cold today that my rings are spinning on my numb, shriveled fingers.
Rave: I bought chocolate-chip banana zucchini bread yesterday and had it for breakfast, and it's amaaaaaaaazing (see answer #2 regarding weight gain)

Oh man, I have a few. Justin Theroux, Idris Elba, Ryan Gosling, Matt Damon, and I'm totally embarrassed to say Zac Efron is starting to creep up there.

*There's another UO for you guys, I despise Chipotle. I think they absolutely suck at making burritos and they don't offer queso, which is just stupid. I'm a Moe's girl all the way.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 19 weeks, size of a classic game boy

2) How are you feeling? I'm feeling pretty good for the most part. RLP still, but I don't suspect that to go away. I'm having a lot of BRaxton Hicks already. To the point where I called my midwife to make sure it was normal/safe. I don't remember having them with my first 2.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? it's a girl and I'm definitely rocking a bump now.

4) Any appointments this week/last? Anatomy Scan on Wednesday morning, midwife appt not until next Friday.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? So with this being baby #3 and all, I thought I was set on baby items. Not so much. Car seat is expired and a ton of stuff is damaged from moving or sitting in our storage shed for the past 4 years. Can I ask y'all what you plan on getting in terms of brand/style for: 1. Car Seat 2. Bassinet/rock n play 3. Diaper Bag 4. Bouncer/swing/mamaroo. I have an idea of what I want, but really this time around I'm being indecisive.

21 weeks! Victor is the size of pomegranate.

2) How are you feeling?
I am still having really bad days but I'm having so many good days that I'm not as stressed about it.
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?

4) Any appointments this week/last?

Nothing for a while. I've one on the 8th and one on the 11th.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?

Because of my bleeding issues I have been on pelvic rest for pretty much this entire pregnancy and DH has been so on board with that because he is a safety first kind of person but for the last few days he has been all over me and it is so hard to remind him that we are supposed to be good especially since I am still a newly wed and I'm a walking hormone factory I miss our sexlife too.

I seriously can't think of anyone. I suppose I should say Johnny Depp because people are constantly telling DH that he looks like him.

21w, endive or carrot

2) How are you feeling?
exhausted and a lot of pelvic floor pressure but the nausea is totally gone and the heartburn is improved. still going to bed at a crazy early hour, i'm very exciting

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?
yes! finally had my a/s last thursday afternoon. it's another boy. and i am most definitely showing, i am a little astounded at how big i am already this time.

4) Any appointments this week/last?
had my a/s at the mfm last thursday. i am so grateful that everything looked good with LO, my cord, the placenta, and my cervical length. the bloodflow was good too. on the high end of normal for amniotic fluid volume, like last time, but i have no clue what governs this. i was told that i am expected back for repeat level II ultrasounds every 4 weeks for the remainder (so...24.5, 28.5, 32.5, 36.5) which on the one hand it will be AWESOME to see LO that many times, it is going to wreak havoc on my PTO savings for maternity leave.
backstory - i had a MASSIVE DVT during third tri of my last pregnancy. it was determined afterwards that i'm also factor v leiden (a bloodclotting disorder that is hereditary). this history means i am on anticoagulants throughout the pregnancy and under the care of my OB, my MFM, and my hematologist. the repeat ultrasounds are to make sure there no blood clots in the umbilical cord or placenta, which can't be determined any other way.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
rave - my son is so excited for his new sibling. he actually wanted a little sister but was over it in a hot second and can't wait. he kisses my stomach all the time and wants to talk to the baby. it's the cutest thing! he truly loves babies with all of his heart, and has since he could speak, so i am hopeful that he will remain this enthusiastic when the realities of a baby in the house hit home for him.

this question always points out how little i watch tv and movies, since most people's lists i am like....who dat? i tend to like men that are darker in coloring, including dusky or olive skin and dark hair. i like some muscle (can't be too skinny) but not a meathead look. except...shemar moore, i'd take that alllllll day long.

2) How are you feeling? Everett finally got through his sleeping thing and is back on track, so I feel like a million bucks after getting a few good nights sleep.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? baby boy, and yes like over night I popped out huge. It's all everyone is talking about.

4) Any appointments this week/last? Anatomy scan last Thursday. Baby is perfect.

@djd0404 that bread sounds amazing!
@ngarciabyu since our twins are only 2 we are using their Chicco key fit 30 car seats again and then once this one outgrows it we will have to pick a new convertible car seat. We are going to use our pack-n-play as our "bassinet" for our room and then once this little one is 4-6 months old we will move it into one of the cribs from the twins and have the twins in either toddler beds or twin beds. As for a diaper bag we have a skip-hop duo which we got for the twins and will accommodate this ones stuff as well. (we also have a small diaper bag for the off chance we take just one baby out), We have 2 mammaroos from the twins that we will also use for this one. (DD loved it, DS didn't seem to care one way or the other, so hopefully this baby loves it)
@brittabatwhite pelvic rest can be tough especially for long periods of time. Hang in there.
@anewadventure hooray for extra US! I loved seeing the twins so much. I too have Factor V leiden. (though I am heterozygous) Since I have not had a clot I'm only on low dose asprin and no extra monitoring this pregnancy. I hope you don't get another clot.

@wabash15 i'm heterozygous as well, thankfully, otherwise i'd be on anticoagulants for life. right now it's just for high risk situations like pregnancy and significant travel or bed rest / surgery. thanks for the well wishes! i made it all the way to 38 weeks with no problems last time but then the baby / my ute compressed my vena cava (the exact reason they tell you not to lie on your back) and it basically turned my circulation to sludge, and i built up an enormous clot. it was a scary few months. i'm glad you're on the baby aspirin and i'd just say, to be safe, be extra careful about lying on your back and make sure to keep an eye out for any clot symptoms. i also highly recommend compression sleeves or stockings (especially when it's not so ding dang hot out - although i have to wear them every single day) but i don't know how the heck i'm going to get them on or off during third tri. it's already a struggle! it's going to be a comedy or a horror show, or some combination thereof. i can't WAIT for cooler weather, at least.

@anewadventure with the twins I had to have DH help me with so many things... and it might not be so far off again this time! As much as I love summer part of me can't wait for the cooler temps of fall all this swelling of my hands and feet in the heat sucks!
