Ok is it just me or are the bump articles on the home page super annoying. I don't know what it is...maybe the titles, but I cringe every time I open up the app. Especially this am when the first article said "10 signs he will be a great dad." It reminds me of pointless quizzes my friends and I used to take in high school. Ugh. Not to mention I'm in a same sex marriage so that was extra annoying!
@mamajenna_cnm They especially annoy me when they perpetuate old wives' tales or outdated information. One article was something like "How to tell if you're having a boy or a girl" and it was all BS and at the end it said every method was still a 50/50 shot. They just need content for advertising dollars.

I have once again not been able to make it through the day with the underwear I have chosen and am now going commando.
I have also been knitting under my desk on and off because it is SO quiet in my office and all the people I work for are "working from home". I am bored to tears.
@MrsJ2410 Now I'm curious, and I want to know the whole story, but I don't.
The other day we were walking the dogs in the evening and I had a strong urge to poop. I threw my dog's leash at my husband and raced home. I've never fully crapped my pants before, but ladies, I tell you this was the closest I've ever come. Almost lost it on the stairs up to the bathroom.

OMG same thing here!! I was walking the dog and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I barely made it. Then the next day I was constipated again.

If you mean re: my underpants, it was also my fffc last Friday. I keep wearing too small (prepregnancy) underpants to work and then having to take them off midday.
I find the other toddlers in DD's class annoying as hell. Don't hug me, touch me, or shove toys in my face when I come to pick up my kid. Teach yo kids some stranger danger. My kid side eyes everyone she doesn't know and it's one of my favorite things about her.
@mrsgunsta this is exactly why I don't teach elementary school or do little people in large groups. And by large I mean more than my own children. Don't hug me. Don't touch me. I don't want to help you with your shoes. Or your overalls. Or your milk carton. And snot. Gross.
I had to go to my GP today. I had a small amount of blood coming out of my ear this morning. My husband and my cousin (who is a doctor) demanded I go. I quote "you are pregnant and should not have blood in your ear." I tried explain to them I used a q-tip in my ear and probably scratched my ear canal. Guess what the doctor said?? Stop putting q-tips in your ears. What a waste of a co-pay!
I had a McDonald's soft serve ice cream because I've been craving one all week and it was delicious! (PSST! Don't tell my husband...he hates McDonald's!)

@smorzandoj Believe it or not, I'm an elementary school principal. I don't really mind other people's kids, just don't particularly love their toddlers. Their kind of gross tiny tyrants.
My husband bought wine night at the zoo tickets for tonight a few months ago as a surprise. I love wine and the zoo! But I obviously can't drink, so he took his mom instead. Which is so nice of him and i know she's loving it, but I'm super jealous. I have to keep reminding myself of the months at the RE and the hormones and everything I had to do to get here and that there's no way I'd trade it for some cheap wine and the zoo.
We went to dinner with some friends tonight, out to a small coffee shop to hear a friend sing/play guitar, and then stood outside for 1.5 hours talking/laughing and having a blast together... Even though I was having a great time and didn't want to leave, I said we needed to go. The honest reason is because I was having major bloat/gas issues and I just wanted to get home, lay on my left side, and get that gas OUT!
psa- it is scientifically proven (said my friend in college) that if you lay on your left side, it helps you pass gas... from my personal experience, this is true!
ps. I am normally NOT this gassy and omg, it hurts so bad that I dreamed of getting home to get relief. DH knew immediately what I was doing when I laid on the floor in my maxi dress... poor guy!
@RaeleenD Wine night at the zoo sounds like fun.. as long as nobody has too much too drink and does something dumb. I'm sorry you didn't get to go, but that's sweet that YH took his mom. Hopefully you can go again next year!
