I have bladder issues

I am an older mom -40ish- and after delivery I had very painful urinations which I thought had to do with the catheter and childbirth.
I started feeling some relief but I noticed I bleed a little when I clean the urethra.
So after three weeks I checked by touch and noticed a bulge at the entrance of my vagina.
I think it's a prolapsed bladder☹️☹️☹️☹️.

idont have incontinence but I do feel like my bladder isn't empty and I go more often than before.
I was reading about mild and severe cases.
I was on bedrest for half of my pregnancy and avoided doing kegels to avoid contractions or bleeding since I had a cerclage in place.
Has anyone heard of complete recovery of a mild/moderate prolapsed bladder with just kegels?
trying to stay hopeful until dr checks me. I always think of the worst case scenario though which would be a surgery.
I also wonder what other kinds of exercises I can do.
Trying to find answers in the middle of the night.

Re: I have bladder issues

  • I don't have any answers. I was prescribed pelvic floor rehab. Good luck!

  • Did you have a c-section?  I noticed that after my c-section I had painful urinations for about 3 weeks.  I think it was just swelling/things being rearranged in there and from the catheter.  The bleeding could indicate a UTI, as could increased frequency and not feeling "empty".  I would have them check for a UTI if they don't immediately do so.  The bulge you are feeling could maybe be leftover swelling?  I'm no expert so definitely get it examined.
