1) How far along are you? How big is baby?

11 weeks! Size of a lime!

2) How are you feeling?

Can't complain. Had a couple days where I got nervous the gas had gone away, but it's back in full force fun times. Light at the end of the tunnel, I hope... just a couple more weeks!

3) Any appointments this week?

Had my blood drawn for the NIPT Harmony test. I'm nervous about the results, but also excited to find out sex!

4) Rants/Raves/Questions?

Maybe a rant? DH says I have a little bump starting to show. I'm still convinced it's gas/bloat! I'm already on the thicker side, so I have no idea if I'll show early or later. I do want to look at maternity pants soon for work!

5) GTKY: Do you have a furbaby? Share a pic! And if you're a FTM, how are you prepping furbaby for LO?
We had to say goodbye in May, just a couple days before I got my BFP! We'll get another in the future, but right now want to focus on baby! But every time I see dogs, I'm like PUPPY!

9 weeks, a cherry and now a fetus!

2) How are you feeling?

Most days, I'm feeling ok. I've been having some weight fluctations on a daily basis (gain/lose a pound). Maybe I lost a pound because I pooped the day before

Some nausea, and it's most annoying when brushing my teeth! I also look forward to naps after work because my sleep is disrupted with at least one trip to the bathroom at night.

3) Any appointments this week?
No, saw my OB last week, and next week, I'll be doing the MaterniT21 genetic testing.

4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
I guess I ranted earlier with my symptoms, but honestly, cannot wait until first tri is over, so we can tell more people! I haven't spread the news to everyone yet, only a few close friends and family. It's hard to come up with excuses on why I'm not drinking.

5) GTKY: Do you have a furbaby? Share a pic! And if you're a FTM, how are you prepping furbaby for LO?
No furbaby, but we want a puppy! Not sure if getting one is the right time, though! @clc515, sorry to hear about your loss!

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? I am 9 weeks today, baby is the size of a lime.

2) How are you feeling? I'm feeling ok, still nauseous and exhausted but it's getting better.

3) Any appointments this week? I have my last RE tomorrow, super excited about that. Then nuchal screen aug 3.

4) Rants/Raves/Questions? No major rants or raves, I've just been chugging along trying to remain positive and hopeful.

9 weeks; a cherry

2) How are you feeling?

About the same. Some more mild nausea, very hungry, a bit emotional and agitated/moody. The bloat and sore boobs are still there.

3) Any appointments this week?

I had my first appointment with the midwife on Tuesday. It was great! She told us about the eFTS which doesn't include the second set of bloodwork like the IPS. It also means that I find out the risks for genetic abnormalities sooner. I'm doing those tests on Aug. 2 and have the follow-up with the MW on the 10th.

We have a 14 year old cat who is very sweet. I'm going to do some more reading, but I've read that you can prepare cats by exposing them to the smells and sounds of the baby.

Better, actually. Over these past few days I feel much better (nausea and dizzyness were aléways here but since week 8 I felt like crap almost all the time, so this is a huge relief). I see the end of a 1st tri tunnel, hold on girls it does seem to get better

The bad stuff still comes in waves but much more manageable.

3) Any appointments this week?

We had an US on Monday, it was amazing

I fell in love. Nothing from now on til the 24th, when we'll have the big genetic scan. I an nervous about that, can't wait to get it done.

@clc515 I am on the thicker side too, I thought I won't be showing at all for a while, but the lower part of my tummy does look a bit different - so I was wondering the same. Decided I call it my tiny bump anyhow

10 weeks! Strawberry or lego man

2) How are you feeling?

fine, fairly symptomless. I had a night of heartburn and a couple days of nausea and was actually happy for it

3) Any appointments this week?

had a check in yesterday. It was disappointing. Felt like they didn't do anything at all. Is this how most appointments are? They oddly moved up my ultrasound to July 25th

theyre the cutest. Only about a year old. I think they'll adjust just fine. The black and white one may be spooked by the loud crying but they are good kitty's.

@Anna_1021 Haha I didn't think it was true til today when I tried to zip up my skirt, but yes I'm expanding haha. I used the hair tie trick on the button to make more space until I find a bellyband. I mean it could be bloat, but it's gonna be more at some point so I'm on board with little bump!

@mblomq2 Pretty kitties! What'd they do at your check in? I was disappointed in my 2nd appointment because they only took my weight/blood pressure and then talked about my medical history and that's it! My next appt is in 2 weeks and I hope they do more. I had seen some ladies say they get U/S more frequently, but I asked my doc and he said something like my next big event is at 20 week sonogram? That seems way too long til I see wee babe again!

@clc515 yes! Well at least I'm not the only one. Blood pressure, weight, urine that's it. I have my first u/s in a couple of weeks and then one at 20 weeks. The student midwife tried to use the fetal Doppler for a couple of minutes but couldn't find the heartbeat. And I think my 12 week u/s may only be because I have Zika risk and we're doing the genetic screens.

On and off, some days are worse than others. I consistently have nausea in the afternoons though. I've started having round ligament pain this week. Specifically at night when I get up to pee or pick up my son

3) Any appointments this week?

Just lab work to check hormones (IF), will have another US in one week.

When will the first trimester end!!!

We got rid of our three dogs after DS was born BC the male was biting him often. Very jealous. So sadly enough, no dogs. But it makes for a stress free environment!

2 little dogs, the tolerate our 2yo well, so hopefully they will be good with a new baby

@mblomq2 I got genetic testing blood work... I hope to get the results at my appointment next week! I thought about doing the NT to get the ultrasound, but went with the blood draw instead since it's a higher % accuracy (and we find out gender!) Hope there's no issues with Zika for you. We waited several months after our trip to the Caribbean to start TTC just cuz of that!

@clc515 how many months did you wait? We waited about 5 months. CDC recommends 6 months. Didn't think I'd actually get pregnant on the first cycle!

@mblomq2 Doc said that while CDC recommended 6 mo to be super safe, we should be good at 3... so we waited 4 months to start trying. Got preggo 6 months after though, so it worked out!
