@jrm_14 sorry for impending CD1. super cute (i mean, kinda not because pain) about your kitten. Little stinkers @mileswithmyles I hear ya on the sunshine thing, I'm sensitive to light (meaning winters SUCK), so light until 930 and bright at 430 makes it kind of awesome, but also starting to want more sleep. Dark of winter will come soon enough, I try to remind myself of that! @dukestar5 sorry about BFN, but dang girl! 6 miles? Going out to lunch with some co-workers, and my BFF/coworker baked me a cake yesterday, even though she just got back from vacation yesterday afternoon. Rant: my mom texted me "Happy birthday to my first born." She's never ever called me this before, and I think it's her home that she wants me to have a baby ASAP (would be their first grandchild). She knows about our first loss, so you would think she would be more sensitive to me.
CS/Q: Not much here. Stopped temping once CH were confirmed
GTKY: Favorite: probably the Milwaukee airport because they have a "discombobulation" area after the TSA checks. I can appreciate a place with a sense of humor. Least favorite: Atlanta. I swear that every time I've flown through there, I only have a 30 min layover (so basically need to board the minute I land), my first flight gets delayed, which makes it impossible anyways, then you have to get all the way to a different concourse, which takes forever. I remember one time I was running through the airport, and a worker yelled after me"you better slow down or you're going to get a speeding ticket!" What person running in an airport would think that's funny? Then when I got to the counter, the person just stared at me when I told her I missed my plane. Like, hello... This is your job. Stop staring at me like it's my fault my plane was delayed.

GTKY: What is your favorite and least favorite airport (and why)? i don't really have opinions on this... i avoid flying... it's too expensive, and i can't stand waiting. LOL. I hav been most to MKE, which I do like. Medium sized, has enough direct flights. Comfortable, I find good parking every time, it's a little outdated. But I don't have much to compare it with.

@darkstar42, I'm sorry you're feeling down. I think a lot of people feel that way after the 4th cycle. But remember, it's still early in this process and within normal. Glad you are getting started with some basic testing.
@icecubeinthedesert HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I hope that you have an amazing day! And don't read too much into your moms message. Sometimes people just don't realize, but I am sure it was innocent.
@AliW220 FX that the surgery is quick! Glad that you are both relaxed at this point though. I really need to figure out how to get my chart linked into my siggy like that! So helpful.
@icecubeinthedesert Happy birthday! And thank you for the encouragement. I know it is still early in the process, but I have a hard time remembering that at times. Plus, being over 35 there are so many doom and gloom messages out there that it gets overwhel
@darkstar42 Hugs. I am 35 and I know every cycle feels really loaded. I wish I had been in a place to ttc sooner in life, but I just wasn't. I hope you get your BFP soon and the testing becomes moot, but if not, gl for the SA.

@catlady1215 I hope you're having fun at the amusement park!! I love water parks. We took DS to Great Wolfe Lodge( Indoor water park with outdoor options) last week and it was so much fun, can't wait till his older and we can take him to bigger water parks.

I had a temp dip today. I've been sleeping crummy all week so I'm not confident in any of my temps TBH. I'm really trying not to let it get to me, but honestly I'm super bummed. ****TW I had not issues what so ever conceiving DS and got pregnant on my first cycle trying. END TW*** I did not take my BFN well last month. I need to test the 26th since we're going OOT and I need to know about drinking. I'm afraid of it ruining our trip. In my mind I know it can take a year for a healthy couple to conceive. I'm just trying to figure out how to deal with the disappointment.
Rant #2-We found mold growing in an unused storage closet yesterday. We just spent a ton of money renoing our basement we don't have money/time to deal with mold.

GTKY: What is your favorite and least favorite airport (and why)?
I have not flown a whole lot but enough to form a few opinions. I've flown out of STL twice and have never had a good experience. So of the rudest staff I have ever encountered. I like KC(MCI) but there isn't a lot to do if you're there for a while. I had a lengthy lay over in O'Hare once and I really enjoyed it. A lot of food and entertainment options. nice staff as well.
@nitnat007 I hear you on the sleep thing. I have gotten 4 solid hours the past 3 nights. I'm a person that needs 6 at least to function.
@darkstar42 I'm sorry things are being to tough. Enjoy your massage

GTKY: What is your favorite and least favorite airport (and why)?
I fly out of Sky Harbor (PHX) a lot and rarely have problems. It's nice and easy bc I know it well.
I LOVE Seattle, but their airport isn't my favorite bc they don't have an admirals club, and only card members can use their Alaska lounge (which means if I'm not with my hubby, I can't go... BS). I value my free drinks and snacks! Haha...
I used to hate flying through ATL bc I'd always get delayed or cancelled. But now I just avoid it and rarely have to go there... so maybe it's improved over the years?
@doxiemoxie212 have a great trip!! FX you get amazing news on vacay!
@Augusta108 girl you are crazy!! Ohare in the winter time??? Haha... I avoid it due to all the possible weather issues. I'm sure it's beautiful though!
@hollieileen, my feeling is, I'm probably going to be delayed or stranded at any Midwestern airport I choose in the winter. At least at O'Hare there's good food and shopping!
Timing: a bunch, but -2 is probably all that could count. I ovulated later than predicted this cycle
Typical LP Length: 13-14 days
Testing: No plans. Not going near a test until I'm in the same country as MH next Wednesday. Probably going to wait for AF to show first.
R/R: My husband is on an international business trip right now. Usually the first week he's away is hard but things are going well. I'll take it.
I keep trying to push my having a kid concerns out of my head. I know we'll find a new normal if we have a baby but it also feels like a giant life change. Anyone else relate!
CS/Q:None
GTKY: What is your favorite and least favorite airport (and why)?
Favorite is Toronto's international terminal. They have iPads everywhere that anyone can use. You can order food from the iPad and a waiter brings it over to you. Food options are good too!
Least favorite; uh, O'Hare isn't my favorite. So busy and flights are always delayed.
@jrm_14. Yay for kittens (sorry for the scratch though!)
@icecubeinthedesert. Happy, happy birthday pretty lady! Hope you are spoiled rotten.
@holly321. How did the surgery go? How are you feeling? How much did your temp drop this morning? Do you think it was more related to being nervous about surgery?
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! I had a great day. I didn't take the day off, but we went out to a pasty restaurant for lunch that I loved, and co-workers brought me beer (IPA, my favorite), tons of sweet treats, and a fun shirt too. We didn't even break into the homemade cheesecake my BFF made for me yet because we were all so stuffed. Then DH and I went out for sushi for dinner. Lets hope that's the last sushi I can eat for a while
Me: 30 | DH: 31 Met: August 2006 Married: July 2012 TTC #1 since June 2016
@jrm_14, surgery went well, thanks for asking. @dukestar5, it went well, was almost completely numb yesterday, not so much today. My temp dropped by .9, it was on my coverline. But this morning it was high. And I don't think I was nervous, I was actually excited to finally get my arm fixed! And sadly this was probably my 7th surgery, so I don't get nervous anymore.

@mileswithmyles I hear ya on the sunshine thing, I'm sensitive to light (meaning winters SUCK), so light until 930 and bright at 430 makes it kind of awesome, but also starting to want more sleep. Dark of winter will come soon enough, I try to remind myself of that!
@dukestar5 sorry about BFN, but dang girl! 6 miles? That's awesome.
@justkeepswimming8 that baseball game sounds really fun, I hope you all have a great time.
@Augusta108 sorry you were so sick, hope you start feeling back to normal soon.
@doxiemoxie212 have fun on your trip, fly safe! I love that you have DH in charge of your test - I think i'll need to do similar so i don't drive myself insane. Locked up in a safe, and only he has the key LOL.
@darkstar42 sorry about the BFN and dropping temps fx next cycle is your cycle.
@nitnat007 the mental image of a st bernard drooling all over the place has me cracking up.
@catlady1215 have a great day at the amusement park

DS #2: Jan 2012
Month/cycle: 8/7 (7/6, 3/3 AL)
CD/DPO: 23/6
Timing: -2, -1, O
Typical LP Length: 15 days on progesterone
Testing: probably this weekend
R/R: Rave: It's my birthday today! And no, I haven't updated my siggy yet, so it is a big one. Not doing much planned.

Timing: good -4,3,2,1,0. blast off.
Typical LP Length: 12-13.
Testing: conflicted. i usually test early, but i'm running out of cheapies, and the frugal engineer in my says it's free to just wait and see.
R/R: so DH is in surgery for his shoulder right now , WOOT! finally getting it fixed. He's relaxed, and neither one of us are anxious, so it's a good feeling.
CS/Q: nah... link to charts in siggy.

@nitnat007, lol to St. Bernard.
@darkstar42, I'm sorry you're feeling down. I think a lot of people feel that way after the 4th cycle. But remember, it's still early in this process and within normal. Glad you are getting started with some basic testing.
@cards10, sorry for CD1!
@doxiemoxie212, have a safe flight!
@Augusta108, sorry to hear you've been sick, but hopefully you're on the upswing!
@justkeepswimming8, good thing the temps don't matter much at this point, but I know that's frustrating.
@dukestar5, sorry about the BFN, but way to get a good run in this morning!
@mileswithmyles, you have more willpower than me.
@jrm_14, sorry work is being a twatwaffle today, but it's good to hear you are in a great mood despite it all!

@AliW220 FX that the surgery is quick! Glad that you are both relaxed at this point though. I really need to figure out how to get my chart linked into my siggy like that! So helpful.

@AliW220. How was dh's surgery?
@icecubeinthedesert. Happy birthday!
BSC got me. I went to the $ store and bought test at lunch. I bought an extra one so I could take it now, even though 11-12dpo in mid-afternoon.
@catlady1215 I hope you're having fun at the amusement park!! I love water parks. We took DS to Great Wolfe Lodge( Indoor water park with outdoor options) last week and it was so much fun, can't wait till his older and we can take him to bigger water parks.

Typical LP Length: 10ish
Testing: 26th
R/R: Rant in spoiler contains *TW*
Rant #2-We found mold growing in an unused storage closet yesterday. We just spent a ton of money renoing our basement we don't have money/time to deal with mold.
CS/Q: Nope
@dukestar5 Good job on the run
@icecubeinthedesert HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

@darkstar42 gahhh I love heathrow too! Take me back!
@cards10 sorry about CD1
@doxiemoxie212 have a great trip!! FX you get amazing news on vacay!
@Augusta108 girl you are crazy!! Ohare in the winter time??? Haha... I avoid it due to all the possible weather issues. I'm sure it's beautiful though!
@icecubeinthedesert almost bday buds!
Happy birthday!!! @icecubeinthedesert
Happy birthday, @icecubeinthedesert!
Month/cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 19/3
@icecubeinthedesert. Happy, happy birthday pretty lady! Hope you are spoiled rotten.
@holly321. How did the surgery go? How are you feeling? How much did your temp drop this morning? Do you think it was more related to being nervous about surgery?
@AliW220. How did YH's surgery go?
@kindbytealikat No!!! So sorry about the mold issue. Great Wolf Lodge sounds like a fun trip...did your LO enjoy it?
@hollieileen Happy early birthday to both you & YH! Have fun celebrating!
