  • I had to pee 5 times between 12:30a and 5:30a last night.  So tired I could fall asleep at my desk.  I just want to sleep!!!!

I think diclegis is crap. My nausea isn't any better and I swear it's making me more tired. And I have yet another 13 hour shift today
  • @jessilee15 Fun fact: the active ingredient in Diclegis is sold over the counter as Unisom, so that's why it's making you tired! My doc said Diclegis is a combo of Unisom and B6, so I could take Unisom at night and B6 in the morning. She said it takes a few days for B6 to have an effect but should help. I've found sour candies work well too, though only 15 minutes at a time.

  • @eggplantface Sour things work for me too. I'm currently sipping on a warm semi flat lemon soda and it seems to be working.

  • I signed up to be a consultant for Lemongrass Spa in April. I didn't do it to make a ton of money, it was mostly so I would get a discount and essentially earn my own free products with commission. The way I'm paid, I can use commission right away or get direct deposit. H keeps asking how much I'll get for the last month and I'll tell him that I spent most of it on my self or for inventory, and he acts like I'm wasting money. Sorry, and you buying video games all the time is not wasting money?
  • Everything. I am super crabby today. I think it is the lack of sleep, but I feel like I have raging PMS.

  • My Bank. Had to move some money around from one account to another. They took 2k out of my chequing account a week ago and put it in my rsp. Except the 2 grand was supposed to come out of the TFSA. So i phoned them and they were like, well it usually takes 2-3 weeks for money to transfer out of a tfsa so we moved money from your chequing into the rsp and then when the tfsa come through it will go into your chequing.

They say they explained this to my husband when he did the paperwork, but I was not informed. So i freaked out because thats a lot of money to randomly be out for a couple weeks.

My brother and I have been talking about him selling us his car since April or May. We'd tentatively agreed to a June date to sell, but didn't happen since the new car he wanted fell through. No big deal. Then he says, "ideally I'll have my new car by beginning of July". So to free up cash to purchase, we sold DH's car. Flash forward 3 weeks and he's "working on finding one". WORK HARDER.
  • I'm a teacher moving grade levels and the previous teacher hasn't cleaned her things out. I just spent 8 hours moving her crap so my things could be out of the room for the new teacher. She won't return texts and will likely leave me with all her stuff to deal with. On top of that, my co-workers don't know I'm pregnant and I'm so emotional. I just got back from vacation where I was sick daily, too.

    Bitchfest party of 1.

We just celebrated my two year olds birthday party and I wanted to kill both of my in laws
  • @essentialpeace I am so sorry you're dealing with that... the start of the school year is stressful enough without having to do the job of two teachers. Will your principal get  in touch with that teacher for you?

    Hope the situation gets better.

I'm in a fun boat at school also. Our school underwent a lot of construction this summer and it is still not ready. We start school in two weeks. I'll have to move all desks and get the whole room ready while trying to find childcare for my two boys during the day (daycare doesn't open until the first day of school)... oh the joys ;)
  • I'm losing the man i love. He can't deal with this and he is slipping away from me when i need him the most

Oh no! What's going on? If you're having relationship issues, have you thought of counseling?

  • @essentialpeace that sucks. I had to deal with a similar situation when I wasn't pregnant and it was stressful. I second seeing if the principal can put in a call for you?

@neener*neener* you start school already?? Ugghhh, where has summer gone??

@sassyangelkiwi Do you think maybe he is just freaking out due to the surprise pregnancy? Maybe he will come around? Either was, it's crappy that he isn't here for you when you need him. Take care of yourself.
  • The principal has called multiple times.  :/
  •  @essentialpeace What is your principal's next step? That could be grounds for termination here. Could the custodians help move the other teachers items to the hall?

@magnolia305 we start in two weeks. Aug. 1 is our first teacher day and Aug. 2 is the first student day... I'm still in denial! :P We run on a balanced calendar which I love. We have 1 full week off in October for Fall Break, 1 full week off in November for Thanksgiving Break, 2 weeks in December for Christmas Break, 2 weeks in March for Spring Break (1 week is reserved for Snow days if we have any, if not, we get the days off), and then 8 weeks off in the summer. I love it.
  • @neener*neener* We have the same schedule! Super nervous to go back as I took last year off after having my son. But I'm only going back to cover a maternity leave for two months  this time, so it's more of a test drive, haha. I loooove balanced calendar though, it gives you and the students  breaks right when you need them most!

  • S.O.S! I'm stuck waiting in the DMV and trying not to puke. There are still 40 people ahead of me. There are so many smells in here that are making my nausea worse, and the young couple next to me keeps talking about food.
  • DH brought home cookie dough. We never have cookie dough in the house. Not since I was pregnant with DD1. Wtf bro
  • When I left my ultrasound appointment yesterday I had a flat tire.  Thankfully my DH was still in the parking lot and changed the tire but standing in 90 something degree heat sucked.  Oh and this car is going away in a week.  Couldn't have waited one more week to do this huh???
  • @babybro218 that sucks! DMV and nausea on their own suck but combined,  UGH!

I'm just depressed about first trimester symptom hell.  I feel like I'm wasting this whole summer away staying inside on the couch just trying to survive.

@Ashoes123 I've been saying no and bailing on events for weeks. I feel bad for skipping, but I've also feel sick sooooo.... they'll be fine and probably excited when I finally tell them why!
  • @neener*neener* and @winnie1122 Well, that balanced calendar sounds amazing! Still enough summer, but then breaks seem perfect. I live in Missouri and don't know of any district locally that does that. Boo.
  • @magnolia305 we're neighbors! I'm from Kansas. I haven't heard of a calendar like that from here either, but I like the sound of that schedule much better.

The only thing really eating at me this week is that I'm being forced to play golf on Friday afternoon for work in 100 degree heat because I could not come up with a good excuse fast enough. Ugh.
