How far along are you & how big is baby? 36 weeks and the size of a cabbage patch doll
Upcoming appointments? The 26th
Symptoms? Full blown carpal tunnel in my right hand. Got a splint last night and as long as I sleep on my left side it helps for now.
Cravings? Finally got the pizza I was craving so nothing new yet
Rants/Raves/Questions? F you to the lady at the store who asked if I was having twins. Nooe just a beached whale thanks though.
GTKY: if you could go back in time, what year would you go to? (I'm assuming two way time travel so you won't be stuck there forever) I think I'd like to go way back to like 80 million BC and see what things looked like before humans.
How far along are you & how big is baby? Papaya-36 weeks
Upcoming appointments? Thursday- I'll have a growth ultrasound too. Most excited to see if little dude is head down. Not too hopeful though since I am having hiccups is some high strange places
Symptoms? I'm going to leave a GiF for this one-- I could hardly walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night last night. It feels like I have been super kicked in the crotch-
Cravings? Nothing special
Rants/Raves/Questions? DHs beloved Grandmother passed away yesterday. Funeral will be about 7 hours away; I clearly won't be there but he will be for a few days. Hopefully baby will stay put a bit longer. My parents are taking my 2.5 year old to my cousins wedding across the country and will be gone 5 days. This week is going to be a strange one.
GTKY: if you could go back in time, what year would you go to? (I'm assuming two way time travel so you won't be stuck there forever) probably post war 1940s. I would love to see some of the homes in my area I love the most in their hay day.
How far along are you & how big is baby? 33 weeks / Jr. Tennis Racquet
Upcoming appointments? Just had one on Friday. Everything looks good. We scheduled my RCS, and I signed the papers to have my tubes tied.
Symptoms? Also having lightening crotch (that gif above is perfection). Heartburn, insomnia, peeing every 20 minutes, irritability, tired, hungry, etc.
Cravings? I want Olive Garden. Like right now.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Finally put the crib together yesterday, and cleaned out the nursery closet. I can tell DD knows there's another baby on the way, but she keeps pointing to her belly saying baby. My body is exhausted from all the stuff we did yesterday, but I'm glad it's done & we are pretty much ready for baby.
GTKY: if you could go back in time, what year would you go to? (I'm assuming two way time travel so you won't be stuck there forever) This is a tough one. I'd probably go back to my teenage self & give her some stellar advice. Or I'd love to go into the future & see my kids with their families after I'm gone.
How far along are you & how big is baby? 36 weeks and a chihuahua
Upcoming appointments? Tomorrow! It's labeled as "birth plan" so it might be a more interesting appointment than usual
Symptoms? Baby is getting uncomfortably big. I can't bend forward very well and I'm feeling him lower near my hips.
Cravings? Ice cream, any kind of cold drink (juice, ice coffee, iced tea)
Rants/Raves/Questions? At my newborn prep class, the teacher was talking about purple crying and I so hope my baby isn't one of those severe criers.
GTKY: if you could go back in time, what year would you go to? (I'm assuming two way time travel so you won't be stuck there forever) I've always been fascinated by 1970s New York. It was probably disgusting, but it would be fun to explore.
How far along are you & how big is baby? 34 Weeks. Cantaloupe sized.
Upcoming appointments? Next week.
Symptoms? The hormone swings are getting hard. I'm angry, weepy, annoyed, and cranky all in the span of two minutes.
Cravings? Watermelon.
Rants/Raves/Questions? My shower is next week and even thinking about it gives me anxiety. I wish it didn't and that I could enjoy even the idea of my baby shower.
GTKY: if you could go back in time, what year would you go to? (I'm assuming two way time travel so you won't be stuck there forever)
Britian during WWII, such an interesting point in history.
Together: January 2002 Married: May 2008 Baby: August 2017
Clearly we like to rush along at lightning speed...
How far along are you & how big is baby? 36 weeks- papaya
Upcoming appointments? Chiropractor today and tomorrow then midwife appointment Wednesday to see if she's turned
Symptoms? I'm just starting to get pains in my belly.
Cravings? Ice cream
Rants/Raves/Questions? I hope this baby turns!
GTKY: if you could go back in time, what year would you go to? (I'm assuming two way time travel so you won't be stuck there forever)
This is hard, I think I'd like to go back to an ancient civilization and explore or watch festivals. I can't even decide which one, because most of them would be fascinating.
How far along are you & how big is baby? 35 wks +1 day (since it's Monday now LOL)
Upcoming appointments? This Friday, 7/21
Symptoms? Back pain still, braxton hicks, heartburn, hard to breathe at times lol
Cravings? Fruits, hawaiian shaved ice
Rants/Raves/Questions? My MIL is coming in next Sunday from San Diego to stay with us up until 3 weeks after Baby Girl comes. Wonderful right? Yeah it would be except when they left here from their last visit on July 4th weekend we had a misunderstanding and she hasn't called us yet to apologize (well she apologized to her son, my DH, but not to me who she deeply offended and made me cry for days). Hasn't even called to FT with our 2 yo DS too. I'm still waiting...we'll see,
GTKY: if you could go back in time, what year would you go to? (I'm assuming two way time travel so you won't be stuck there forever) 1998 - I was 15/16 years old and met *NSYNC at a book signing at a bookstore in Downtown Disney Orlando. Plus I went to 2 *NSYNC concerts that year. I know it sounds corny but I loved that year sooooo much! Plus I fell in love with San Francisco that summer!!
How far along are you & how big is baby? 36 weeks - cabbage patch doll.
Upcoming appointments? OB this thursday!
Symptoms? Carpel Tunnel in my left hand (my knuckles are so sore now). A lot of pelvic pressure but that's nothing new.
Cravings? Caesar Salad...all day everyday.
Rants/Raves/Questions? While I really don't take the health care benefits we get here in Canada for granted, I have a rant - My order just came in and we got the other stuff put together (peri bottles, mesh underwear, maternity pads, breast pads, diapers, wipes, swaddle blankets, clothes for us, clothes for baby etc) for our hospital bag and I'm not super sure how I'm supposed to get it all in one bag for us and one for baby. I need to bring a pillow & blanket for DH, shampoo, soap, they suggest bringing a towel, robe etc on top of it all. I'm basically packing for a weekend away at a cabin it feels like but with a specific list from the hospital. Then being told that since August is one of the busiest birthing months - it's first come first serve for private recovery rooms (we have a private room for delivery) and that if I don't get a private room it is possible DH can't stay with us over night in recovery. It's not the end of the world but it's also not ideal and makes me a little sad.
GTKY: if you could go back in time, what year would you go to? (I'm assuming two way time travel so you won't be stuck there forever) 1920's - I love The Great Gatsby.
Me: 37 DH: 37 - Married 10.2015 ❤️ Canadian DX: Endometriosis - Stage 4, DOR, RPL
@JWatt5 it's the same in Germany for a private room. We were already told we'd almost for sure be sharing a recovery room and that DH won't be able to stay with us.
@Nxy@JWatt5 I'm really sorry to hear that. DH and I would be really upset about that
Same, DH had to leave the next morning after DS was born because he was in the middle of classes for work. My mom was with me, though. That's just so cruel.
