Monday B*fest

I know it's early but I hate Monday mornings. It is also quarter close week at my work. On top of that it's my manager's last week so today already stinks.

And I still can't figure out this gif thing from mobile. If anyone can figure out what is wrong with my coding below that would be great.

    I also hate Mondays at work and my unit has been full of patients but understaffed. Isn't it suppose to die down in the summer? I'm also upset that it's so late in July already.

    @maegpie quarter close is so annoying, mine is at the beginning of the month so thankfully it's over but yuck. 

    I got probably 8 hours of sleep total this weekend so yesterday I tried to catch up/literally couldn't keep my eyes open. I slept so much but I'm still exhausted!

    I am dreading today. Tons of deadlines and so tired from our trip. 
    But we have a midwives appointment this am! Yay!

    @lancomechica2 appointment days always give me something to look forward to. 

    @MaximumEffort DH was just saying the same thing last night. It was our anniversary and he was an hour late getting home because patient count is up so high. Luckily we are celebrating this Friday.

    I hate Monday and I miss my bed.  That's all.

    DS1 is 7.  DD is 1.  DS2 is coming in late April.

    I woke up this morning feeling like it was my day off but my day off isn't until Thursday. Oh how I miss having 2 days off a week. I'm hoping there's not much mail today because Saturday we had as much mail as a Monday.

    There's talks that Amazon is going to start delivering their own packages. I'm sure the post office in general will lose a lot of money but I say good riddance and good luck.

    @amber0529 this has been going on for a little while actually, I've been noticing the past year or so that sometimes Amazon will give me an "Amazon tracking number"

    I also have been getting a lot of Amazon's deliveries. They usually show up early evening in their own little truck. 

    This is probably more of a FFFC but my 15 y.o niece visited us for the week last week so I pulled my DD from daycare and we did a staycation while DH worked a ton. I am exhausted and desperately need a break from DD. She asks no less than 850 questions per day. I'm so happy she is so curious but it's draining to come up with answers for everything (especially repeat questions) on top of all the physical activity that I'm just not used to. She also skipped her nap a few of the days which doesn't help. She goes back to daycare tomorrow.

    My boss, who knows I am pregnant, asked me to come around to her desk so she could show me something. Her desk is across from my cube, but I am at the end of the row so I need to walk down and walk back to her office. She can just get out of her desk and walk over to me. I get there and it was something she should have just walked over. Stop your shit.

    Went to McDonald's for a McFlurry and they didn't have ice cream because they ran out while giving away free cones yesterday. I should have gone out then.

    @lancomechica, I'm on a critical care/ICU step down.  We are a 32 bed video and telemetry monitored floor, today we have 1 room open which we usually are required to keep open in case there is a rapid response, unless that patient get a intubated they come to our unit. I've already and one patient leave me before 9am for a surgery and won't return so before they were even out of the system on my floor they booked it with a direct admission from a sister hospital, I don't mind because he is so sweet.

    @NYTino24 unacceptable. 

    Kroger gave out free ice cream yesterday and DD had a sample. I held out trying to be good but now I'm really craving some lemon crunch ice cream from a local creamery.

    I really want a frosted chocolate fudge blizzard from Dairy Queen. They are even this month's special, so they are cheaper!
    DS2 woke up soaked through again, which since he has outgrown these overnights is not unusual, but this time the thing was so full it exploded. Like, literally exploded. There was diaper fill everywhere! And of course at the same time he had a really huge poop, so he ended up getting an instant bath this morning to get all the little white pellets and poop off before I could even get him breakfast. This child takes hangry to a new level. Then naturally since DS2 got a bath this morning, DS1 wanted one too. Fine, go be extra clean today, it kept him occupied while I cleaned up the giant mess in the crib and got DS2 food. Can I get a restart?

    Not only is it Monday, but there was no training at work today so we all literally sat around chatting and playing on our phones all day. We can't do any work until we go live on July 31st. The team that trains us (they fly in from down south) doesn't come to the office on Monday's or Friday's. Made for a very boring and long day. I almost fell asleep at my desk a few times.

    I just puked everywhere. Most puke this whole pregnancy. I have to be up at 3:30 for a 6:00 flight. My SPSS license expires tomorrow. Yes I'm still bitching.

    @lancomechica haha. We have a great nutritionist who makes sure each patient gets exactly what they need. Mostly Pivot 1.5 or Promote with fiber, lol yes we have Vital AF and quite a few more.
