Contractions and dilation

Ok I'm 37 weeks as of today but I found out I was 2cm dilated on 7/8/17 so about two or three days went by I was having really bad pain but turns out I wasn't having contractions and I was still 2cm dilated as the doc say so I got sent home and once again I go to the hospital again this pass Friday because I really wasn't feeling well I just feft so sick my back was hurting even with the cramping in pubic bone I just was feeling like crap ect...... So the docs (2) docs check my cervix again and didn't tell me if it was the same or it change but they order a test for blood work and after that I was just sent home again and I just dnt understand so I'm just wondering like I must not be having contractions at all. so i gets home maybe about a half an hour to an hour I start feeling pressure on my bladder and really bad stomach pain and some back pain it was hurting so bad that I really started to cry so that's when I figure may be that was contractions but it kept getting intense to no so intense and I really had to use the bathroom but couldn't get up but when I did and used the bathroom it stop slowly I was confused what just happened and I wanted to go back to the hospital but I refuse to go beach I knew i was gonna get sent back home so I just layed back down and it started to hurt again but not like the first time and it did it again and that was it. so now I'm just confuse on what's going on cause now I'm tightness in pubic bone,the sides of my thighs hurts a little here and there I get a stinging burning sensesation on both of sides of my hips and a lot of pressure on my bladder I i even once think I felt a heart beat in my pubic area so idk this could mean I having Braxton hicks it probably is but that first pain was so real so yea it's probably Braxton hicks cause it lasted for a long time the first time then stop and wasn't as painful the two other times i just know I dnt want to go to the hospital again cause its so embarrassing I just wanna know if I dilated more but I just dnt want to go I guess I'll know if I'm ready to deliver I'll know and another cause could be I'm just thinking to much I'm anxious happy excited and nerves and way to in deep in this want I found out I was 2cm dilated I just couldn't get my mind of if but I'm also a first time mom. I know this was very long but if anyone do read this please comment back and tell me what you think about everything I'm going threw but if you don't have nothing nice to say dnt comment thank you

    Please call your doctor.  Labor looks and feels different for every woman, so nobody here can give you a definite yes or no answer.  Doctors make the big bucks for a reason.  Good luck.

    Sounds like Braxton hicks. Baby is probably ready to come soon. I am having similar issues. You sound super anxious and relaxing a bit would probably help you and baby. Call your OB or midwife.
