So we just met with a doula, that I'm sure we will go with, for the first time! I wasn't sure if any questions to ask or if I should know more about her personally? She's pretty young but that doesn't bother me. Can you think of anything I should ask?!
She is just starting so she is offering services for free to get all of her hours for certification.
Re: Doula?!
my friend is also a doula and I remember when she was looking to help couples for fires to get hours for her certification. If you get along and you like her personality, I feel like you really. Can't go wrong since she's free!

I think our doula was anti-vax but it didn't really make a big difference because she didn't have much contact with the baby.
I had a doula with my first and will definitely have one again. I will say that in my experience, if you are going to give in to the epidural, having a doula there or not probably would not have made a huge difference. That decision is solely on you.
You can think of 1,000 questions to ask and be interested in all the different services provided, but when it came down to go time the best thing my doula did was shove a fist into my spine at the right time. And I mean that in the best way possible.
