Lightning crotch, general pelvic discomfort, and insomnia.

I go Monday for my 36 week ultrasound.

So I missed my sister's college graduation bc DS decided to come a few weeks early. My SILs baby shower is tomorrow and I'm so nervous that I'll go into labor tonight and miss the shower! I know there's nothing I can do to prevent it, but I would feel terrible if I missed another important family event.
GTKY: What is one of your biggest pet peeves?
Poor grammar, and traffic.

Some Braxton hicks, my whole stomach is sore, insomnia, just plain old tired and worn out.
Cravings:
Chips and guacamole
Any appointments this week? Just got back from my 36 week appt- baby boy is very low and cervix is still high and closed up tight. Which is good since I have a RCS planned in 3 weeks.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Rant I suppose: I feel like this kid is never going to have a name. I feel like I'm quickly running out of time and I at least want to have 2 solid choices before we go to the hospital. Girls names are so much easier! Our daughter had a name by 24 weeks and I already had a second name picked out if we had girl number two. I worry if we don't have something narrowed down before the hospital, I'll rush into it and regret it later.
GTKY: What is one of your biggest pet peeves? People who are constantly late and excessively late (like consistently 30 mins and more).

Two. DS is 5 and DD will be 22 months

37 weeks
What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies?
So much low pressure that is really uncomfortable. I have been having contractions that are painful but irregular.
Cravings:
Shaved ice, ice pellets, and ice pops. I am a walking heater and these are the only way I am surviving.
Any appointments this week?
I had my growth scan on Wednesday and my 37-week appointment this morning. The Doctor is pretty sure that I am carrying an 8-pound baby in there. I showed progression in my internal exam, but nothing that would indicate that labor is imminent.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Honestly, I am a hot, uncomfortable mess. Ice and laying in bed are the only things that are getting me through. At the end of the day, I am so miserable that I can hardly stand it!
Questions: has anyone had experience with a growth scan showing a big baby this early on and had a successful spontaneous vaginal labor. I am really stressing that I am going to be induced or talked into a C-section.
GTKY: What is one of your biggest pet peeves?
I really, really can't stand when people drive fast in parking lots. They get in a hurry, but you never know when a child is going to dart out from between cars or if a car backs out and doesn't see you. It scares me so much and I get really irked by the people that do it!
I also get really irked when other people don't watch their kids in public at parks, water parks, museums etc. Most kids don't understand the social expectations like sharing, taking turns etc. I use these opportunities to teach my children, but it makes it hard when other kids are acting like heathens.
When I had DS, my growth ultrasound estimated he weighed 7lbs 15oz at 36 weeks. They had me go in to do a weekly NST, but there was never a mention of induction. My water broke naturally at 38 weeks, and he weighed 8lbs 11oz.
Hopefully if your baby is measuring big now, it will come a little early! Best of luck!
How many other children do you have? A stubborn almost 4 year old son
How far along are you? I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow! I feel like this is the milestone I've been looking for and hopefully the next 3.5 weeks will go FAST
What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? Out of breathe. I joke this kid is scared to come out now. Most babies at this time start to drop/descend. Mine has went the opposite direction. He's so far up in my ribs I sound like a 80 year old patient who needs oxygen....
Cravings: I was craving fast food....today I was said NO MORE!!! I still love me some PB and ice cream though
Any appointments this week? Nothing this week. Next Tuesday I have my 36 week growth ultrasound, Group B test, and being checked
Rant/Rave/Questions? Like I mentioned above this kid is super high. I'm fairy certain he flips sides in my stomach. He normally favors my right so I had feet wedged under my right rib. Well yesterday he flopped to the left and now I have feet wedged under my left ribs. It hurts so bad, it's almost numb. I was almost in tears last night it hurt so bad. I honestly have no idea how much more my skin can stretch (I know it can, I got HUGE with my first and I'm not that big yet)
GTKY: What is one of your biggest pet peeves? When people don't use their manners or kids aren't polite.

What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies?
Heartburn is coming back, Braxton Hicks and occasional cramping, lower back pain and a combination of insomnia and exhaustion.
Cravings:
Sweets and carbs, which don't go well with having to monitor my blood sugar.
Any appointments this week?
I had a growth u/s on Tuesday and appointment with the dietician yesterday. I don't have anything for this coming week.

I still feel like there's so much left to do and time is running out.
GTKY: What is one of your biggest pet peeves?
Slow, distracted drivers especially when they're in the left lane on highways.
How many other children do you have? DS who is 3.5
How far along are you? 36 weeks
What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? Insomnia is new this time around.
Cravings: Sweets, which I can't have because of GD.
Any appointments this week? Every week now.
Rant/Rave/Questions? With DS I went to 40+5 and then had a quick labor in the middle of the night. I have been having a hard time adjusting my preparations to plan for something different. My goal this weekend is to get started on my hospital bag and get DH to finish flooring our extra bedroom so I can start moving stuff back into it. He wants to go cut fire wood, which we already have a ton of plus a heater so it is a very low priority for me.
GTKY: What is one of your biggest pet peeves? I am with everyone else who gets annoyed by people being late. It is so frustrating and where I live it is standard for everyone to be 15 minutes late, they call it "tahoe time."
How many other children do you have? 2 girls - 4 & 9

What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? Sore stretched out belly but relatively few symptoms. My girls gave me crazy acid reflux and were up really high. This guy is super low.
Cravings: I want to bake treats constantly but I don't really want to eat them. I really want beef though.
Any appointments this week? Nope.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I am insanely hot. I feel like I wake up sweating and can't recover. I am over wet underwear and soaking through my bra.
GTKY: What is one of your biggest pet peeves? Chewing with your mouth open. The smacking sounds drives me crazy.

How far along are you? 37 weeks
What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? OB says I'm very low (she said lots of folks think they are but I actually am lol), peeing three or four times an hour, lots of pelvic pressure, left hip ligament making it hard to walk or lift my toddler, he's head down but kicks are all at belly button Level and hand movements near what feels like my vagina lol. I was low with my first son but not anything like this. Bit of bleeding a few days ago.
Cravings: nothing.
Any appointments this week? Yep. Wednesday. I'm on weekly now.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm just so uncomfortable. I don't know how he's staying in there.
GTKY: What is one of your biggest pet peeves? People being idiotic and inconsiderate. I'm totally judgmental way more than usual.
How many other children do you have? DD1 is 5 and DD2 is 2.5
How far along are you? 35w2d
What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? Tons of BH, some painful and my intestines have totally given up and I have to take (doctor approved) medication twice a week to "go".
Cravings: orange juice, seltzer, smoothies and sweets
Any appointments this week? None this week.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I am struggling this Monday! I don't know how I'm going to get through another 5 weeks of work and it makes me want to cry - 4:30 wake ups, 1.5 hour commute each way, actually having to focus on things other than baby prep, and 2 kids who don't sleep well on days mommy and daddy work. I have a big presentation on Wednesday and I'm hoping getting that over with is a weight off my shoulders. Also, my freaking junior is taking another week off at the end of the month (he took off last week in June and first of July) and I am torn between feeling bad for him having to cover my leave and annoyed at his leaving me double duty as I try to prep for leave with minimal blood flow to the brain. Okay, rant over!
My rave is DH has been crafting DS a sign for his nursery and I saw it for the first time yesterday and love it! Now I'm going to be nagging him to finish it so I can finish the nursery.
GTKY: What is one of your biggest pet peeves? People walking around city sidewalks on their cell phones. Put the phone down or step aside!

What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? I am exausted. Peeing all the time and just general discomfort. I am having a lot more reflux this time around which isn't helping sleeping at night.
Cravings: ice!!! All the ice!!!

Rant/Rave/Questions? My husband has been in The hospital since saturday with pancreatitis. I had hoped my mom would come help me out with our 4 year old but she is just doesn't care.
