1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 10 Weeks, Prune

2. How are you feeling? Today I feel like a I turned a corner, but MAN the last couple of days were possibly the worst of this pregnancy. Didn't help that Sunday was a big family party and I couldn't even try to fake feeling normal so naturally a lot of questions were whispered to my mom (she was very good at deflecting to my surprise)

3. Any appointments this week? I had my first OB appt on Monday and I hated it/her. I am going to shop around for a midwife and push for a birth center birth. I waited over an hour to be seen, she rushed through everything SO FAST, took a quick, blurry snap on an ancient US machine , didn't even check the HB, and immediately suggested a C Section when I brought up a 20 year old pelvic injury, even though we had JUST MET and I had just told her how important a vaginal delivery was to me. She also ordered the wrong NIPT test for me, and the nurse who took the blood for said test couldn't get the tube to fill until someone came over to correct the needle in my arm. nope nope nope.

4. Rants, raves, questions? I guess that was my rant. Sorry for the novel.

5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs? I grew up super close to my cousins and we have a huge noisy family and now that we are all having kids I am excited to continue that. And lots of reading! And showing them the Cape house DH grew up in and all his family history in the town.

Better, but still very tired. Not as sick as I was last week.

Nope

Nothing this week.

My parents recently built a cabin in the mountains so our newest tradition is having lots of family time up there. All the grandkids love it.

I don't blame you for looking for a new doctor @MrsJ2410. She sounds awful.

1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
10 weeks! Baby is a strawberry which makes me feel bad about eating the strawberries we have in the fridge lol.

2. How are you feeling? Counting down the days until the end of the 1st trimester. The MS has been rough and I have had a lot of round ligament pain the past few days.

3. Any appointments this week? My NT scan and bloodwork are on Monday.

4. Rants, raves, questions? My DH is being so awesome. I feel bad that he is doing most of the chores around the house but I feel like poo most of the time. Also, he let me buy a super awesome SUV this week that is being delivered in about 10 days.

5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?
Every year for Christmas we got a new ornament for the tree. When we were younger my mom picked them out, but as we got older she let us pick whatever we wanted and some years we made them ourselves. People probably thought our tree was tacky but we loved it. After we became adults my mom gave us some of our ornaments so I have them on our tree now. Can't wait to add some for our LO.

Thanks @MrsJ2410! Some of them are the ugliest things you've ever seen but there is a memory for each one. I can't wait for the car! Mine is 13 years old and a convertible. Not baby friendly at all.

7 weeks-size of a blueberry

perfectly fine--only "symptom" is mood swings

I had my first ultrasound Monday--the lady was a little cold but I could see the baby and the heartbeat!!

5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?
cinnamon buns Christmas morning

but I'll probably do them homemade instead of the can

2. How are you feeling? Exhausted.... 24/7.... probably doesn't help that my 3 month old is up once a night for a feed. He was sleeping through but not lately.... also nausea comes and goes. Lately more coming than going..... lol

3. Any appointments this week?
No.

4. Rants, raves, questions?
Just can't believe how tired I am. Ttm and yet the first trimester exhaustion amazes me every time.

Not much beyond Christmas basics.
