Re: Monday Ticker Change 7/10
23 weeks. Baby is the size of a grapefruit.
Exhausted. I'm not that large yet (in my personal opinion I guess) but I am starting to get really uncomfortable. Yesterday we took DD to see Cars 3 and I couldn't sit the whole two hours I had to get up and walk around in the hall. Plus, last night my wedge pillow was not sufficient enough for sleep and I had to start propping more pillows behind my head.
Nope our next checkup appointment is next Thursday.
Rave - My husband has been home for the last three months so when I would go grocery shopping DD would stay home with him. He just started a new job last week (rave #1) and so he wasn't available to stay with her this morning. Well we survived (rave #2). She actually was a complete angel which she normally us in public but with the change that happened with daddy being home for a while and suddenly gone again she has been experiencing the threeanger attitude and I was terrified it would happen this morning.
Question- anyone else experiencing braxton hicks this early? It's been a few years since I was pregnant with DD so I'm trying to remember if this is what it feels like. My stomach is balling up and feels hard, then I feel something that feels like her shifting and then my stomach relaxes. They don't hurt they just are a little uncomfortable since most of her movements are still in my pelvic area.

I was having a hard time connecting to this baby at the beginning. After loosing two in a row it just becomes ingrained in your brain that it is bound to happen again but we made it past our milestones fairly early on which helped a little. It was important to me to name the baby after we found out the gender hoping it would help me connect more to her. We had our boys first name picked out pretty much from day one and I had my girls first name picked out from day one. However, DH wasn't really getting on board with my name and he had his own that he liked (but I couldn't get on board with) so we compromised and found another name that we thought was okay but definitely not our favorite. We went to our ultrasound with our boys name and our girls name we compromised on and as soon as I saw that profile and before the tech said it was a girl I looked at my husband and told him I know it's a girl and her name is Emery (which was my favorite girl's name). He smiled and said he thought so too. Her middle name is Skye which is kind of a play on DDs middle name Rayne (rain) and we thought it was perfect because she is our rainbow and rainbows are found in the sky.
21 weeks. Chipotle Burrito.
Nausea, please go away.

We have a girl name! We do not have a boy name. I don't think we ever will. I really really don't.
1) How far along are you / how big is baby?
22 weeks !!! the size of a coconut!
2) How are you feeling?
I have been feeling good however I need to watch what I eat in the evenings as I have woken up to heart burn a few nights this last week.
3) Any appointments this or next week?
Nope not until August.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rave: I got our sunroom cleaned like walls windows everything. (We moved in to our house in December and the sunroom isn’t heated so we never went out there). We now have furniture for it so we can now use the space and it’s so nice to sit in the sun room and read.

We are 99% sure we have a name however want to see our little girl to make she her name suites her. We also keep bring up new names we hear that we like so it might get changed by the time baby arrives.
2. Feeling great! Baby girl is moving a lot, so that's always a good feeling
3. No appointments until the end of July.
4. None this week!
5. We do have our name picked out. We've had it for forever. Luckily, my hubby liked it because it's technically a name I picked out lol.
@MKMandeville. I get that sensation too and it is really uncomfortable, sometimes even painful. And yesterday it felt like he had a body part shoved in the middle of my rib cage for like an hour. Isn't it too early for that!?

There wasn't too much of a discussion. My fiance really wanted to name a boy after his father and he said if it was a girl I could pick the name. It's a boy and I'm not big on the name (Robert William). I love his father but Robert is also my father's name and he's a selfish prick and I don't want him to think we're naming baby after him at all. His father is so excited about it though.
22 weeks. A coconut.
Next week!
None today.

Team Green. We have a girl name set in stone. Boy name still under discussion.
I copy the questions from Saturday ... Thanks Saturday ticker Change!!
Rant about the name choices. We have had ours picked for years, we've been together 13+ years. I announced it on Facebook because I kept getting so many questions about it. And a friend who had a baby in February says " oh that's one of the names we had picked too but with a different spelling but we went with the name " x" instead. I know that's a straight up lie. She told me all the names they had picked and ours wasn't one of them, I never mentioned our choice because I didn't want to have the name taken because dh and I have had our hearts set on it for years. It makes me crazy that she tried to claim it in a weird way. Am I being crazy, pregnant hormonal or is that whack that she did that?

Like I said above, we've had our names picked for a while. Both girl and boy names. We chose one after each side of our family for both sexes. Glad we were able to decide mutually on a name for our little girl.
1) How far along are you / how big is baby?
21 weeks a banana
its depends on the day. Still fighting feelings of being sick all the time. I also have some back pain and ligament pain. I feel like the baby is sitting right on my pelvic bone and constantly kicking me in the bladder so I have to go to the bathroom all the time. I don't remember being this uncomfortable with my other two, but it's been 10 years.
No next Tuesday
dont have any

we are having a girl and have we are naming her Amelia Kate. We had a easy time picking a first and middle name.
Pretty good except for swelling feet. I have a commute where I walk a lot and it is hot here! Fewer pairs of shoes are fitting me these days.
Not this week. It's nice to have a break! Tough to get that time off from work.
I'm feeling a lot of stress about prepping for maternity leave. Don't know how I'm going to redistribute all my work, and I really don't want to dump it on already overworked colleagues. Anyone else struggling with this and massive guilt?

We are having a boy and we're having a devil of a time finding a name. We had a million girls names, too! Isn't that just the way it goes? It's hard to think of boy names that aren't super common but also aren't weird.
