1) How far along are you? 17+1 with the twins.

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I'm okay, back pain but that seems to be a semi permanent thing right now. Emotionally a bit rougher than usual, we did our registry this weekend. I just feel like I'm going to do something to jinx us...Not logical and I know it mentally but the hormones are in charge of the emotions right now.

3) When is your next appointment? Thursday! Hoping that the sono shows us the sexes. : )

Any other suggestions? I'm open.

5) GTKY: Are you thinking about a babymoon? Even if its not possible where would you love to go? I'd love to escape the heat of Texas right now. A cabin in the mountains of New Mexico would be lovely, with a swimming area/hole. : )

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? emotionally OK, physically the dryheaving is gone but the nausea and food aversions are still hanging out. I'm back to a bland food diet oh and salty is now in. The fatigue is slowly getting better

3) When is your next appointment? I have a midwife appointment tomorrow

5) GTKY: Are you thinking about a babymoon? Even if its not possible where would you love to go? @stella_700 swimming in a lake sounds amazing. I'd love to take DH to New Orleans or to Savannah. Or going back to this little resort we went to on our honeymoon. Unfortunately with the twins and DH's job that's not going to happen. A lady can dream though...

@stella_700 as for a twin rocker honestly we went with your standard rocker and it was great. even now when they are 2 one just sits on each leg and we read. My only tips are to make sure it has good tush factor (you'll be sitting in it a lot) and ideally that the back is high enough you can rest your head. I can't tell you the number of times I fell asleep rocking a baby or pumping and woke up with a crook in my neck. oh and if you have a c-section having a foot stool or the ability to put your feet up is nice. (though not required) One thing that was a TOTAL life saver was a yoga/excersise ball. if you have a fussy baby its amazing how much they love to be bounced on those things. We just got them for ~20 each at target and it was some of the best $40 we spent.

@stella_700 New Mexico sounds like Heaven!! We live in Dallas so I'm totally with you on the Texas heat!

Physically, I'm confused! I have more energy but I literally lots all my decisiveness. I can't figure out what I want to eat, or watch, or even my sleep position! It's exhausting! Emotionally I'm pretty ok, just tired from worrying about my sick pup!
3) When is your next appointment?
Wednesday!!! I'm looking forward to it because I want to see how much our little buddy has grown!!

Why are hot flashes during pregnancy a thing?!?! I told my mom I'm going to move to Alaska when I go through menopause because those things are unbearable!!!
5) GTKY: Are you thinking about a babymoon? Even if its not possible where would you love to go?
Well it's kind of a babymoon but it was planned before baby was with us; we have a family trip to Disney World planned at the end of September and I'm SUPER excited!! If I could go anywhere else, I'd probably pick Maui. Sun, beaches, pools, lots of frozen (virgin) drinks!

Struggling but keeping end result in mind. 22 more weeks. I've got This!

Next Tuesday I have my OB checkup. I just want to hear his heartbeat again to help with some of this anxiety

rant: buying a house when pregnant...and moving while pregnant. whyyyy do I do these things to myself? lol although I'm sure it wouldn't be any better doing it when LO was here. My rave is I think I just felt LO somersault which makes me so happy. He's been quiet the last few days

ugh with moving, we just can't afford a baby moon but if we could, I would love a long weekend trip with just me and DH to either Washington DC or even Atlantic City (NJ) a couple hours away.

@vhill74 I call them my "own personal summers" they are so much fun.... I'm also with you on the lack of decisiveness especially when it comes to what to eat.
@Marley629 you have so much on your plate! I moved across the country in the first trimester with the twins packing sucked because I had no energy. Then we moved into our house when the twins were 6 months. I'm not sure what was more challenging! hang in there and we can dream about babymoons together.

I dream of a babymoon but its not going to happen. Finances being what they are with expecting twins and overly protective husband who says we aren't going more than thirty minutes from the hospital. : ) My sweet mother-in-law tried to float the idea of a baby shower in Louisiana with her family with us driving down there (8 hours in the car), I didn't have to say anything, he shot that idea right out of the sky. It would be cool if it could happen, you know, if I could get beamed there ala Star Trek, her family would spoil us rotten. Maybe a trip down there next summer would work.

@vhill74 I want two things for food. Chips and queso (terrible for me) or italian (gives me heartburn). SIGH! My husband is alarmed by how quickly and how hot I get just doing a quick trip to the grocery store. I tend toward warm anyway but I've been instructed by him to go sit in front of the fan and to take my clothes off! (TMI) How things have changed with pregnancy. : )

Marley629 Ugh, moving. Just the chaos of getting the guest room turned into a nursery has turned our house topsy-turvy. Moving across country or into another country! I'm a weenie compared to some of us on here.

@wabash15 I've got the brest friend pillow for twins on my registry at this point, just trying to figure out the best way to work this out before hand. I'm plus sized, and already have an old fashioned, wooden swivel rocker from my great grandfather. The twins will arrive and throw all the planning right out the window.

I can't wait for my appointment on Thursday. Cannot wait!

@stella_700 its so true... you will do all this planning and get what you think are the perfect items and the twins will have other ideas... this happened to us and baby bottles... we had to try 10+ brands before we found one DD would take. DS could care less and took anything we gave him. Also I dream frequently of a star trek type transporter... it would make life so much easier!!
