9 weeks! A cherry sized baby
    2. How are you feeling?
Feeling pretty good. Waves of nausea here and there, still super tired most afternoons. Otherwise okay!
    3. Any appointments this week?
Saw the heartbeat on Monday!!!!! That was an incredible moment and I cannot wait to meet this baby ( 7 more months..)
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Is pregnancy sloooowly creeping by for anyone else? I feel like February will never get here . I'm so inpatient but each day just drags.... advice for getting through it??
    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?

We spent so much time at the library as kids. Summer mornings were spent walking to the library (about a mile, my mom was big on walking), picking out books and reading a ton. I will absolutely keep that going with my children
OMG! my mom used to do the same thing with us during the summer! I will also keep that going :)

EXHAUSTED - to the point that i'll need to tape my eyes open by the time it's 2! I also feel HUGE!

    3. Any appointments this week?
Dating US today! I can't wait to see the baby :)

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Can we be out of the FIRST trimester already?! I hate the nausea, gas, bloating, and exhaustion!

    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?
I'm gonna have to go with @wal2017! That is the only good thing about my childhood really. Going to the library with my mom and spending HOURS there! Definitely will keep that going with my LOs.
  • Due 2/2, 2/9, 2/16, 2/23? You go here!

    1. How many weeks are you? How big is
     baby?
    8 weeks raspberry

    2. How are you feeling?
Still hungover...but now I noticed if I don't eat so often the queasy-ness gets worse. So semi appetite.

    3. Any appointments this week?
    First Ob on Monday

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Rant. I rant about this twice a year.  Dog groomers are way over priced. We took the two boys to the petsmart salon for a deferminator bath. $136!!! Their hair costs more than mine with a color.
Rave/rant: rave- getting my hair done tonight..just cut.
Rant: this is the second time I've gone and been pregnant...no coloring ahhh. Hello Gray hair and dull color.

    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?
I hope to do board games...but DH HATES board games and we don't do electronic games either..sorry we aren't gamers.
But growing up I loved playing sorry and other board games after dinner.  Maybe DH will come around.
  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?

    I am 10 weeks today I've got a strawberry going on =)

    2. How are you feeling?

Good not as tired as much more hungry a little bit and happier not as worried

    3. Any appointments this week?

Nope next appointment is the 21 st

    4. Rants, raves, questions?

I am having a really hard drinking water I go through phases of doing great then not so much and tips or tricks ?

    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?

We go all out on Christmas like I have a village and the kids Do all sorts of fun decorating we will continue this but just be more creative so little can't break old things

  • @Chawk17 H and I love board games! That's a good idea, we'll have to make sure we play with our kid!

@sarahbellz I'm having a hard time with water because despite having no taste, it is oddly leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I have G2 (low-cal Gatorade) that I alternate sips of with water, so water with a fruit punch chaser :) You could also try adding lemon juice to the water.

  • @eggplantface that's a great idea ! I typically don't enjoy Gatorade but I had  low bp with it my last daughter and had to drink some every day so I kind of got use to it lol
I actually usually do lemon but forgot some guess I'll pick them up today ! I did grab some pink lemonade and thought about adding a splash of it to my large water thing but it feels like cheating
  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?

    9 weeks, cherry

    2. How are you feeling?

Starving, tired, constantly nauseous, at least I'm not vomiting constantly( I had Hg with my daughter so everything else seems wonderful in comparison)

    3. Any appointments this week?

Nope not for 2 more weeks

    4. Rants, raves, questions?

Rant/rave : I'm constantly drinking Coca Cola. Bonus it keeps me from puking. So you win some/lose some I guess.

    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?
We keep a lot of holiday traditions with our kids and plan on keeping it up.

  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?

    8 weeks---raspberry!

    2. How are you feeling?

Feeling great! Still nauseous first thing in the morning but once I eat breakfast I'm usually good again. Still have so much tugging and pulling--especially in the evenings. Forgot about all those "growing pains."

    3. Any appointments this week?

No appointments this week. DH and I leave on Thursday for a quick anniversary trip for 3 nights/4 days. We are both really excited. DD is staying with my mom for the trip so we are looking forward to LOTS of sleep and relaxing. Looks like this was an unintentional babymoon vacation!

    4. Rants, raves, questions?

I had one when I started typing....and now I forget. HAHA

    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?

One tradition DH and I started is we always do bathtime together with DD. It's the one time in the day when we get a chance to connect with her and send her off for bed. I also used to always be the one to put her to bed when she was a baby because I was feeding her, however after getting sick at about 4 months we realized what a mistake that was. Now we rotate almost every night or every other night so she is used to either one of us putting her down to bed. She never says she wants Mommy or Daddy instead. This has made it so much easier when one of us is sick and she doesn't pitch a fit.

This should say...we sit on the side of HER bathtub while she bathes. I realized rereading this this could be awkward...HAHA

  • @sarahbellz I thought of another one: My H uses those Mio water flavors because he doesn't like plain water, so that's an option too. I think you just have to limit the amount you use because it's artificial flavoring and I think that's bad.

I love that!! We are at the library at least twice a eeek. I sell books, so we always have an over abundance in the car on trips.
  • Mobile bumpin'...

    1. 9 weeks, cherry sized gummy bear

    2. Feeling terrible most of the time. Nauseous mostly, Diclegis is helping a little bit.

    3. U/S this morning and saw my sweet gummy bear wiggling around. Saw arm and leg buds and a nice strong heart rate of 176.

    4. Rave: Finally got approval for a 30-day supply of Diclegis, which will make my life so much easier. They've only been giving me 4 day supplies at $40/pop so that's been driving me insane. Another rave, DH will finally be finishing DS's DIY outdoor playhouse this weekend, which has been on the back burner for weeks. Can't wait to see him play in it!

    5. We don't have many traditions really. I'm just trying to give my DS and future LOs the same upbringing I had. Lots of outdoor play, make believe, dress up, reading, movies, board games, play dough. We're a Disney family so Disneyland and World trips are a must for us. I grew up going to DL and have so many fond memories, it's very nostalgic. I hope to make those same memories for my kiddos and that they grow up and do the same for theirs.

  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is
     baby?
9w1d, size of a toy jack
    2. How are you feeling?
Nauseous and exhausted. Going to the OB made me super anxious for some reason. I don't know if partly like "shit just got real" aka this baby is really happening after 2 years of struggle and loss and I'm a bit overwhelmed.  It's just frustrating a bit that I can't just be happy without worries.
    3. Any appointments this week?
I had an appt with my RE Monday (last one!) and OB Thursday. I go back to Ob on 8/1. I'm really ok taking a break from all the appointments.
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Only one more week of IVF meds--not that I'm counting down or anything...
    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?
    M
y parents always took us to visit historical places. I would want to continue the tradition when my kids are older.

    1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
    10 weeks- strawberry!
    2. How are you feeling?
Super tired and the nausea is so unpredictable.  Could be because I'm keeping up with my beautiful little 15 month old all day everyday (teacher-mom home for the summer).
    3. Any appointments this week?
Next appointment is the 17th because my doctor, who says he never takes vacations despite missing the birth of my daughter because he was away, is on vacation.
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
yes!!! I know it's baby number 2 and I know they are very close together but I already feel like a blimp! Im over weight to begin with so the bloating is killing me. I never know from day to day what I will be able to fit into,  sometimes I need mat. Pants and other times old pants with the extender is ok. Getting dressed makes me want to cry everyday even more than it already did!!!
    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with lo?
We have a lot of family traditions that we have maintained but one of the best is reading together. My daughter is obsessed with books already and it makes my heart so happy. Family reading time is key for us.

  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is
     baby?
8W 3D - baby is the size of a raspberry!

    2. How are you feeling?
Nauseas but not as bad as I was the last time around. Still super exhausted!!

    3. Any appointments this week?
My first appointment was at 6 week and I won't have another appointment until week 13-14 as I am out of province visiting our family! I am anxious to hear the heartbeat!

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
No rants or raves here. Just waiting to hear baby's heartbeat!

    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?
We always go down to the river and go swimming as a family! I want to make sure I let my children know how important family is!
