    I'll go first :-)
    1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
10 weeks, and the size of a strawberry!  [ETA fruit... the bump pic looked like a raspberry to me lol]

    2. How are you feeling?
More of the same... queasy, heartburny, bloaty lol. But otherwise good!

    3. Any appointments this week?
None this week, next one is the 26th.

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
I seriously miss food, lmao. I've said that before on other threads, but for reals. No cravings, mostly aversions or a lot upsets my tummy. I can't wait to love food again lmao.

    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?
My family used to meet up with w/ 2 other families every summer for one week at the beach. We kids are all still close 30+ years later, and are talking about bringing that tradition back with our kids!

  • Due 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22? You go here!

    1. How many weeks are you? How big is
     baby?
7 weeks.  We have a blueberry.

    2. How are you feeling?
Crappy.  I remember feeling worse with my twins than my first born.  This seems way worse.  Either I'm too old for this business (41) or I'm having a litter.

    3. Any appointments this week?
Nope.  Waiting anxiously for my first appointment next week.

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
    Ugh, already ranted.

    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?
I'm looking forward to learning some of my SO's childhood traditions.  He is from Romania.
  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
     8 weeks - a raspberry

    2. How are you feeling?
Mood-wise, feeling much better today! It's been torture to wait a month for our first appointment. Symptom-wise, bloat, nausea, and peeing every hour.

    3. Any appointments this week?
Yes, just had our first one today. S/he measured 7 weeks, 5 days, and we saw a strong heartbeat. It was surreal!

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
    None at the moment.

    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?
Hoping that we can take as many family vacations as we did when I was younger with my brothers and parents. We've traveled to other states, went to Niagara Falls, or stayed local and visited a zoo. I want to share so many experiences with my LO!
  • @olitwinturbosnprincess your comment about possibly having a litter is hilarious...I literally lol'd.  Some days I feel that way due to the bloat...maternity pants for the win!

    1. How many weeks are you? How big is
     baby?
    8 weeks - Raspberry
    2. How are you feeling?
    Like crap.
    3. Any appointments this week?
I have an ultrasound on Monday, super excited to see LO again!
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Took my 18 month old to school today for the very first time and cried like a baby...why does it have to be so hard?!?! I love my job, but I love my son more...sometimes I wish I could chose.
    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?
I think the best tradition from my side of the family is Christmas Eve/Christmas day.  We don't really do anything out of the ordinary, but it's always the same and I look forward to it every year.  It was so fun to include DS last year, I can't wait to have two LOs running around crazy during Christmas.

    1. How

    3. Any appointments this week?
We see the MW on Tuesday!

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
    Nope

    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?
    Probably Polish Christmas Eve dinner.

  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
9 weeks here! Baby is now a fetus woo hoo. Size of a raspberry or pecan.

    2. How are you feeling?

@starla  same here! Many of my symptoms have become less strong in the past two weeks. I'm worried and grateful at the same time. Mostly tired and HUNGRY! :-)

    3. Any appointments this week?

    Next Thursday with the midwife

    4. Rants, raves, questions?

Why oh why does my doc not do any heartbeat checks until 13 weeks?! It's driving me nuts and I bought a fetal Doppler but still haven't had any luck.

    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?

There are many but I can't wait to take my kiddo to Disney world! Husband has never been and I went often as a kid from FL.
  • clc515clc515 member
@mblomq2 DH went to FL a lot as a kid and just loves it, and talks about going to Disney too! I only went once as a kid and hardly remember it, but I think it'd be fun to do with our LO! When they're old enough to remember though, ha.

I def think my favorite memories are holidays and vacations growing up! Food and fun, right!! I'd be curious to know what the Romanian and Polish traditions are. So fun learning about more cultures!
  • @mamajenna_cnm My SO would absolutely love to have multiples.  We were talking about having a litter and his response was "well, you would need more boobs."  NO!  I have more than a suspicion he just wants to claim one for himself.
  • @mblomq2 fetal Doppler can't detected fetal heart tones till around 10 weeks, and even at that it is a challenge.  That's probably why he waits! Between 12-13 weeks is when it's easier to hear fetal heart tones with Doppler.

@olitwinturbosnprincess the thought of having more boobs makes me cringe!
  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
10 weeks now that my EDD has moved! Baby is a strawberry or kumquat. I think the ticker says or used to say prune?

    2. How are you feeling?
I'd say I'm about 50/50. The past two days nausea has picked up, but the few days prior I felt pretty good.

    3. Any appointments this week?
Tuesday I have my nurses appointment where we talk about my due date, hospital registration , do's and don'ts, explain screenings, maybe they take blood but I'm not sure.

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
I woke up starving in the middle of the night and had a bagel with cream cheese after so many ladies were talking about bagels in the symptoms thread. It was amazing.

    5. GTKY: Any childhood traditions you loved that you are doing / will do with your LOs?
We already have family movie night with popcorn once a week, we do some holiday traditions at Halloween and Christmas, and we go on a yearly vacation with DH's family every 4th of July.

We do Christmas Eve at our house for. It's aides of our family. DH's family can easily take over holidays so I like having a day when we can eat Mexican food and do stuff from my childhood. We always to fajitas and it's a fun family-style meal
