1) How far along are you? How big is baby?

17 weeks! Pomegranate.

2) How are you feeling?
Good! Some intermittent back pain and tender breasts.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?

It's a girl! I am showing a bit. Strangers might think I'm just chubby in the tummy, but friends and women of child bearing age definitely know!

4) Any appointments this week/last?
nope. I have one next Friday.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Last night baby was really kicking! I could feel it from the outside even, just below my belly button!!

6) GTKY: What are your plans for the 4th? (or what did you do for Canada day?)
having a family BBQ tonight! We won't stay up for fireworks, though, since DD goes to bed at 7.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby?

18 weeks, baby is as big as a sweet potato / artichoke / tall Frappuccino / classic Nintendo controller (are all those things really the same size...?)

2) How are you feeling?
The headaches suck and the lower back pain is a bummer, but otherwise feeling pretty good

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?
I find out the sex a week from Friday! And kinda-sorta showing? The belly is definitely looking like slightly more than just a burrito dinner, especially when I wear maternity pants.

4) Any appointments this week/last?
Nope, but I went for more bloodwork last Friday. Part 2 of whatever-you-call-it-screening.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rave that I got out of work early today and have tomorrow off, woot woot. (Amazing how few rants I can think of when work isn't stressing me out!)

6) GTKY: What are your plans for the 4th? (or what did you do for Canada day?)
Low-key 4th planned tomorrow, DH & I will hang around home, BBQ and enjoy the weather.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 15 weeks. an eclair

2) How are you feeling? hanging in there, the nausea and dry heaving is getting better but the food aversions are back in full force. the fatigue is slowly getting better too.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? nope team green, and yes I haven't been able to hide it for more than a month. I work with a FTM who is ~30 weeks and I'm as big as she is...

4) Any appointments this week/last? nope, nothing until late next week I think

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? not much. glad to have an extra day off tomorrow.

6) GTKY: What are your plans for the 4th? (or what did you do for Canada day?) I think we are keeping it low key, taking the kids to the pool and having dinner with some friends.

@djd0404 ohh man now I want a frappuccino! I'm glad work is better this week.

@lavashiner Our fireworks start super late here too, I don't think they get going till 9:30-10. With the twins going to bed at 7 its going to be a long time before we see them again! have fun at the BBQ

16 weeks, dill pickle

2) How are you feeling?
I'm feeling ok. Better each day. Still lots of RLP. And this may sound weird, but my hands are super dry. Like eczema or some type of dermatitis and are itchy and bumpy. When I was pregnant with DS2 I had this and chalked it up to dry weather or something, but I noticed it went away after I had him. 4 years later here I am pregnant again and it's back. So I'm going to talk to my midwife on Friday because they keep me up at night they are so itchy.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?
Still team pink

. I can notice a bump. But anyone else would just think I had a large lunch.

4) Any appointments this week/last?
I see my midwife on Friday and then Anatomy scan on the 26th!

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
I mean, itchy hands. And I still have anxiety about this pregnancy. Someone tell me this is normal. like it's too good to be true.

6) GTKY: What are your plans for the 4th? (or what did you do for Canada day?)
BBQ with some friends and letting the boys swim. Mostly relax and let the kids have some fun.

2) How are you feeling? I'm doing okay this week. Ligament pain letting up a little.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? I wish! Won't know sex until July 25th at anatomy scan

4) Any appointments this week/last? nope no appts till anatomy scan

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? tired of family asking about the sex..it's a baby that should be enough

I know theyre excited and want to know we do too but it's a process and I don't need a 24/7 reminder..

6) GTKY: What are your plans for the 4th? (or what did you do for Canada day?) we went to the drag races this weekend, tonight my boys were in the parade with scouts and tomorrow we have another parade and fireworks at the river.

18 weeks Victor is the size of a tall frappucino

2) How are you feeling?
Still getting sick a lot but I'm getting better at handling it. Last night I woke up with terrible gas pains which is absolutely no fun.
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?
Baby is a boy! I have started showing but I'm told that we very short people usually start showing earlier.

4) Any appointments this week/last?

Not until next week.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?

We've started amassing baby stuff and it has taken over a portion of my living room. I have got to get organized.

6) GTKY: What are your plans for the 4th? (or what did you do for Canada day?)
I'm going to spend the morning catching up on tidying house and then going over to my dad's for a cook out. Nothing too exciting just a nice easy holiday.

2) How are you feeling? Pretty good! Just some heart burn and the occasional headache though I think the headache is because I think I need stronger contacts and I've been squinting

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Yes, a girl! Yea definitely I look how I looked when I was about 25 weeks with my son.

4) Any appointments this week/last? I had a quick appointment last week. No more appointments until my anatomy scan on 7/24

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? My DH will not look at names! He kind of likes my number one choice so I'm going to just try to persuade him to let me name her.

6) GTKY: What are your plans for the 4th? (or what did you do for Canada day?) We had such a fun weekend so far! Went to the movies, talk a day trip to a dinosaur park, spent a day at the pool with friends and seeing my family today.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 16 weeks, baby is an avocado

2) How are you feeling? Everyday is different... some days I don't even feel pregnant and other days I am a textbook case of symptoms...

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Team green here... I wouldn't say it's baby bump, but the upper part of my abdomen is getting larger and more rounded... a friend said that's because everything else is filling that area so baby can grow in the lower abdomen...

4) Any appointments this week/last? My 4 week appointment got bumped to Friday, the 7th instead of Monday the 10th...

6) GTKY: What are your plans for the 4th? (or what did you do for Canada day?) We are going to a friend's house... they have an in ground pool, so we will swim and cook out... the wife is 38 weeks pregnant so it will be very low key!
Possibly fireworks up at my parents' house tonight... they live on the lake and a lot of people set them off in the area...

@lavashiner yay for baby kicks... I can't wait til I can feel LO moving!!

@djd0404 you must he using Ovia... I think the same thing every week while I am looking through the themes... and I think it is funny the way the same fruit/veg represents different weeks in different apps...

@wabash15 do people give you a hard time for being team green?? Everyone we tell, their reactions are awful!! It's always something to the effect "ugh, I would have to know" or "how are you gonna prepare" it's irritating!

@ngarciabyu my next appointment is friday, too... we don't have our anatomy scan scheduled yet... I'm anxious for another peek at LO!!!

@kersey0208 drag races sound like a lot of fun!! How were they?

@brittabatwhite have you been buying baby stuff or receiving as gifts? I'm getting anxious about figuring out and choosing baby gear for LO... there's soany options, I'm always grateful for the experienced moms that have been giving advice!

@kdestito A bit of both. I'm a new mommy and DH's youngest will turn 18 the day before our due date so everything has changed since his original baby days. We have been doing a lot of research. I made a little chart for approximately how Victor's clothing size changes will work into seasonal weather where we live and I've been using that to know what sorts of clothes will do well for each size. I'm super excited because a friend who's sister just had a baby in January is taking me to some of her favorite baby bargain spots on Saturday including a place where onesies are 2 for $1. We are definitely buying lots of cute new outfits for babes but I am definitely not above stocking up on comfy gently used onesies and pjs at awesome prices.

@kdestito we were team green last time and I was surprised at the number of people who were actually mad at me for not finding out. I got a lot of grief that people wouldn't know what to get me... gender neutral people!!! It just made me more determined to stick with team green. This time around I haven't gotten as much grief I think because people know we didn't find out last time. Hang in there! people can be so rude with their comments some times. also as for clothing sizes it is so dependent on the baby... my twins are in different sizes... DS is mostly with his age but DD spent more than 6 months in 3 month cloths and though she is 27 months old she wears 18 month cloths...

Our plan is to have at least a handful of things in each size to make those transitions a little easier.

Also I think being team green should be fun and exciting for everyone. Who doesn't love a little suspense?
