  Scented candles just gather dust in my house. I am afraid I'll forget one is burning and it will cause a fire.
  
  Plus, half the time I walk into the room and choke on the smoke. {not baby safe either: https://www.kidssafetynetwork.com/mom-warns-scented-candles-harmful-babys-health/}. They are perfect for regifting, though! 

  It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  @nytino24 I use wax warmers for that very reason.  Plus I can keep them on all of the time without worrying about anything.  I am one of those people that also worries about the plug in scented things (like Air Wick) causing a fire.

  My UO is that I believe in reincarnation.  I don't think we come back as dogs or anything, but my beliefs about reincarnation are similar to Buddhism.  I believe we come here to learn and each life is a new lesson or set of lessons.  I also think it's interesting to read about the history of religion and beliefs to see how they overlap each other.  It's interesting to see how texts and socially accepted beliefs have changed throughout the centuries as well.

  DS1 is 7.  DD is 1.  DS2 is coming in late April.

  @mariposa_767s Interesting! I think I believe in reincarnation or an afterlife. It just brings me comfort to think that we continue on.

  @NYTino24 I love my candle warmer!  I actually think the candle smells better since there is no soot mixed in, and you don't have to blow out the candle, so no smoke.  It was like $5 and so worth it.

  @liz4382 what brand of melts do you use? I am cheap so I won't buy scentsy brand but I'm struggling to find melts I like for my warmer. I love tropical scents and earthy scents.

  @maegpie I don't use the melts--mine is one that you just stick an actual candle on top of to melt the wax. I just get the candles from bath and body works for it.

  My UO: I do not like the phrase "love you to the moon and back." I think it is especially strange when used between adults. I get that it kinda gives kids this idea of BIG or far reaching love, but still. I feel like I would be telling a loved one... "I only love you 477,710 miles." I know this is weird and analytical and unpopular...but its just how I see it! I would rather explain that my love for them is infinite and much, much more far reaching than the moon.
