How old are your other kids? 17 months!
Current challenges/concerns about being a STM or questions about things your children are going through now? Lately DS has been getting up at like 5:45... uuuugh. Last night I hung blankets over his windows and he lasted until 6:30 so that's something.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM: I decided I don't think I want to know the sex at the ultrasound cause I think it will be fun to wait. With DS I needed to plan EVERYTHING, but this time I am so much more laid back about it all.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions well DS just pulled his dresser down as I was typing this! Luckily I was right here and he was next to it and not in front of it so it just scared us both. I guess I'll be bolting that to the wall today!
GTKY: If your kids are old enough to understand, how did they react to the new baby coming?
He has no idea. He points to my belly when of say "where's the baby?" But that's about it!

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM or questions about things your children are going through now? I just can't believe DD is almost one. I am trying to make a mental note to soak up every baby snuggle with the new LO, since this will likely be our last. We also had an incident yesterday with DD and our dog that means we are getting rid of the dog. DH immediately wants to get another (which is funny because he came into our relationship as a cat person and I'm the dog person) and I'm like, "I think we have enough on our plate!"
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM : DD is getting so big; I'm excited to watch another LO transform as they grow up

GTKY: If your kids are old enough to understand, how did they react to the new baby coming? DD definitely does not understand. Her first birthday is coming up, so I may look for a couple of big sister books for her to try to drive the idea home a little.

How old are your other kids? 15 months
Current challenges/concerns about being a STM or questions about things your children are going through now? I am trying to practice letting things go a little more in preparation for a crazy two-kid household instead of getting frustrated so easily. It's definitely a learning curve since (especially while pregnant) I am quite easily agitated.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM : We hung out with some friends over the weekend that have two kids that will have a similar age gap to our two and they were so cute. Makes me melt thinking about DS holding his little siblings hand at random in the stroller/

GTKY: If your kids are old enough to understand, how did they react to the new baby coming? DS is obviously a bit too young at 15 months to get it. We are working on body parts now so I am trying to teach him tummy and tell him that there is a baby in mommy's belly but he'd rather harass the dogs than pay attention lol.

Super excited to be having a boy! Especially since this baby is our 4th and last. I'm looking forward to buying boy things and experiencing being a mother to a boy.

super excited! My oldest cannot stop talking about it. Literally every moment she can she will talk about the new baby. My younger two kiss my tummy a lot and love to ask questions.

My daughter is going through a super-whiny stage right now. It's seriously the worst, and I'm so worried I won't be able to keep with two!

These second trimmest headaches! I did not have them with my daughter, and I'm going on day 5 of a constant headache. Le sigh
