  • Let's just say....my gym may only know me for laying out at the pool the last two weeks. Monday. Monday I shall return for something other than pool entertainment for my children. I swear. I will. Bc I'm gonna gain 50lbs if I don't.

    I have decided to work out in my head but I can't seem to find the motivation. I know I should because I am not as active this pregnancy as I was in my last. How are you staying motivated? 
  •  Lack of motivation, screaming back pain and  spotting have all been factors as to why I haven't been working out this week. Not to mention I have to pack up our entire existence tomorrow at the end of August and it's proving to be a long and slow process with two little ones and being exhausted and pregnant.....

     Basically I'm making all kinds of excuses and yet still know that I need to get back to working out or I'm going to seriously regret it when the scale starts going crazy.
     I only lost about 10 of the 30 pounds that I gained with my son so I'm really concerned about keeping my weight gain in a check this time around!  

  • I am going paddle boarding tomorrow and plan to do some outdoor yoga. I have been slacking a lot, am hoping that with DH gone for three weeks and that being very boring for me, I will be motivated to go to more yoga classes. I also keep saying "2nd tri is when it will ALLLL happen", but honestly, I have been feeling better now so no real excuses.

  • Monday is a new week is what I keep telling myself. Motivation was just home this week and I was busy with appointments so I only got out walking 3 days this week as opposed to the usual 6 that I do

     DD born Oct 2011 - DS#1 born Jan 2014 - DS#2 born Apr 2015 - DS#3 born Sept 2016 - LO#5 due Feb 7, 2018

  • I have managed (so far) to keep up with my morning walks with my dog and toddler followed by the elyptical. Hoping I can keep it up! Today I'm exhausted. But managed 5 days this week.

    I just did a 25 minute youtube prenatal workout. It's called BodyFit by Amy. It wasn't very hard, but I was sweating a bit. Definitely got my HR up!

    Nice!  You guys are motivating me to start fresh on Monday! ( actually Tuesday, because Monday is my hubby's day off since Canada day falls on a Saturday this year.) :) 
  • I've been walking for an hour almost every day and lifting when I feel up to it after. Sometimes I'm just too exhausted. I'm hoping for a VBAC and at my appointment today I was encouraged to keep up the exercise because it can help with that. So that will hopefully motivate me to keep going!

    Lol. Chasing both around is tough at times. Now that my daughter is 3 she enjoys chasing the dog more. So gives me less chasing to do myself. lol

  • I have no motivation at all to workout :( I have been so exhausted and cannot make myself get off the couch. I am really hoping I can get myself moving starting Monday! We can do this!

  • I'm still on restriction until July 10...if I get cleared then starting Chalean on BOD!
  • I did a 20 minute prenatal DVD today called Slim N Toned. It was definitely more difficult than I thought it would be!! ...So I'm glad it was only 20 minutes lol. Did two UJam dance classes this week at the gym also, but I'm not really into fitness as much as I was before myBFP. Hopefully my energy will pick up soon! I remember it being like this with my first and by second tri, I was back at it.

    @Chawk17 I love Chalean! I've been doing PiYo mostly cause it's low impact but I may restart Chalean also.

    Hehe I really want a dog one day. Maybe once I'm done having kids and they can help take care of the puppy.

  • So impressed!

    I am debating a water aerobics class tomorrow at 9am. I teach it 3x a week, which has been miraculous for me. I lost 26lbs doing it 3x a week with no other exercise other than chasing my son through life. 
  • Swimming! I've been trying to swim every other day, and it feels great every time i do! It's too darn hot out to do anything else! And it doesn't make my back hurt like everything else. Do be careful that you get enough oxygen, i haven't made it past 20 min bc i just get so tired. And then i usually need a nap lol. i love swimming so honestly just pick whatever sounds most fun to you and do that!
  • I hope to get my motivation back after the first tri, because working out is my escape. But this week has been a struggle for sure. Had pregnancy personal training 2 days, then dragged my butt to the gym 2 days out of my own motivation, so I guess that's a win lol. I really try to do 5 days during the week at lunch, and running on Sunday. But I skipped my Sunday run this week too :(

    I might have to check out piyo, thanks for the idea.  I'm finally comming to terms that T25 isn't a good idea :(  ( couldn't get out of box)
  • I made it to water aerobics, an hour of a super intense instructor! 

    I kept envisioning pushing this vbac baby out and it was awesome!

    Oh man, T25 was my post-baby plan after my son and o was just getting ready to get into it when I found out I'm expecting this one and yeah, I looked at it and thought "nope".

    Not this weekend but I did this morning and I feel super successful.

    Went to the pool and did a couple very slow laps using the boogie board, stoping to chat w DH and Bestie halfway haha. Then walked to dinner.  This is more than id done all weekend so huzzah haha.
