Yay it's Friday and a long weekend!

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 17 weeks, baby is a pomegranate

2) How are you feeling? Not too shabby. This heat is getting to me though. Doing the smallest tasks makes me sweaty and winded, which is annoying because I have a lot of stuff to get done but I need to take frequent breaks.

3) Any appointments this week/last? We had an elective US last night to determine LO's sex, but we will find out tonight with our family what it is! So excited for 7 o'clock.

4) Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant- Just hoping tonight goes smoothly. I'm hosting a lot more people than I wanted to and it's stressing me out. Mostly because I hate the clean up, and I have to work tomorrow.

5) GTKY: If you time traveled to 100 years from now, what would your first question be? Did the world survive Donald Trump?

Nope. Wel we found out we were team pink last week. Total shock!

Happy Holiday weekend ticker change, fellow Friday folks!

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 18 weeks. Artichoke. That is a very weird thing to compare my kiddo to, but also an amazing suggestion for dinner. Hmm.

2) How are you feeling? Always snackish. Significantly better than 1st tri, but starting to feel overwhelmed and anxious about getting all the preparations done in time. 5 months to go... augh!

3) Any appointments this week/last? Check-in appt yesterday, and all's well. Anatomy scan next Friday (at exactly 19 weeks). I'm excited to see our little guy again.

4) Rants/Raves/Questions? I took all of next week off (got to work down my PTO cap) and so I effectively have a 9 day weekend. DH did not take next week off, so I have the rare opportunity to have the house to myself during the day. I've got craft projects and kitchen projects and doing-nothing time that I want to indulge in. The Sunday before I go back to work is my bday, so I think I may have to bake something fantastic for my last childless bday.

5) GTKY: If you time traveled to 100 years from now, what would your first question be? Haha. My question is the same as @dkizz82. Perhaps also a WTF Paul?! in honor of our BMB.

2) How are you feeling? Great! I've been extra lazy and hungry and I'm blaming it 100% on the pregnancy.

3) Any appointments this week/last? Nope, not until 20w

4) Rants/Raves/Questions? I have been waiting for the week my baby would be the size of a sugar glider! I have two as pets

5) GTKY: If you time traveled to 100 years from now, what would your first question be? Probably something about what is the biggest invention/breakthrough that has happened.

@kyrwyn I feel you on the "we only have X months to go!" stress! Several people have told me to get everything done by the end of the second trimester so that the third tri is less stressful. I think they are onto something, but it has definitely upped my stress levels this week!

17 weeks, video game controller or pear.

2) How are you feeling?
still feeling good aside from the tailbone pain (figuring I will just have to live with it for the duration)

3) Any appointments this week/last?
OB visit yesterday, literally just to "check in", next appt isn't until 7/17 when we have anatomy scan

4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
has anyone tried the cotton candy flavored grapes?! I just ate half a bag.

Do we finally have equal pay?? Dear lord help me if it's 100 years down the road and we are still living in a country where women only make up 14% of senior management and are making 80 cents for every dollar men make.

@PoeMasque That advice sounds one part practical and one part crazy-making. I can see how it upped your stress! My mom told me to make sure and leave a couple things to do for the nesting phase or I'd find myself redoing everything to use up all the excess energy.

DH is always asking if the baby is ok and wants an ultrasound to confirm. He keeps worrying that I squish the baby when I press on my belly to get him to move ( no luck with feeling anything do far). Lol.

5) GTKY: If you time traveled to 100 years from now, what would your first question be? @kater622 mirrored my thoughts. Also did we ever elect a woman president? Do we have warp speed like Star Trek?

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 17w with di/di twin boys

2) How are you feeling? Most of my pelvic pain has subsided unless I'm walking long distances. My maternity belt has been a life saver!

3) Any appointments this week/last? I had my MFM appointment today and my next appointment is the 21st (unless one is scheduled with the MFM sooner--I have to call on Monday to schedule my anatomy scan with them). We found out today that Baby A is weighing 8oz and Baby B is weighing 6oz. It's a little concerning for the doctor, so we are going to continue to monitor them. I also have a placenta previa which is another issue but she's hoping it resolves in its own. Finally, I had protein in my urine from my 24 hour urine test so we will continue to watch that throughout the rest of the pregnancy. It was great seeing the babies again this week and hope they both continue to grow and not present any problems.

4) Rants/Raves/Questions? I feel so overwhelmed with registering and getting the nursery together. My goal to have the nursery done is September 1st and I feel like we have so much to do! Any advice on where to start??

LO is a girl!! I am over the moon!! The party was kind of a mess though haha. DH's uncles are obnoxious. One shouted "you failed!" at DH when we found out, and continued to give him shit about producing a girl. The other uncle kept grabbing me and making fun of how fat I would be. My MIL was apologizing (they are her brothers), and she agreed it should have been kept to just the grandparents and us like I originally intended. Oh well!

@kater622 that makes me so sad. DH has produced 3 girls and no one (to my knowledge) has been mean). We have decided daddy will just be outnumbered the rest of his life. Maybe we'll get him a male dog. Haha

Our offer we put on a house got accepted and since it's a short sale, we only have 30 days to close. Cue panic mode....I spent a lot of today packing DS's room and then I got all teary thinking of how hard we worked on getting his nursery ready, then it progressed to me thinking of all his firsts we had here...and yea I lost it. This move is a great thing and to a much better town with awesome schools. But it's still bittersweet.
