I'm pretty much super dumb. I know that with a trigger shot it's smartest to wait until the day of your missed period, because the trigger IS HCG and will register on a test. But I got all antsy, and I took one last night. It had the FAINTEST of faintest lines. So I thought, "you're an idiot Mythril. It's the trigger." I decided I'd take one today, and if it was darker I could believe it and if it was lighter I could reprimand my impatience and move on.
But it's exactly the same. salkdfjasl;fdkjsf What does that even mean? Lmao, of course it's not so simple.
I guess what it means is, wait the appropriate amount of time. T-T My bad.

@mamasaurus12415 Sorry about the BFN. FX it was just too early. And I guess there's a nationwide shortage of Clomid suddenly.
@justkeepswimming8 I think gender reveal parties are really stupid too. FX that AF doesn't show and make it worse.
@pebbledam: Good luck in the Escape Room!
@charlestonchew: Fingers crossed for tomorrow's test!
@looeeze: Good luck tomorrow!
@CatLadyTX: So sorry for the BFN Hopefully it's just too early.

@charlestonchew GL with testing again tomorrow!
@looeeze seconding the "per cycle" answer.
@catlady1215 Sorry for the BFN.
@SkilledSailor I hope your dr. takes you seriously. I went in to an OB complaining of debilitating AF cramps that used to cause me to vomit and not be able to move a year or 2 ago. The gave me a quick u/s, determined I had no fibroids, and shrugged. Still not sure why I had that kind of pain. It's not as bad now, but still...
@Mythril Yeah it could def still be the trigger. Sorry!!
@mamasaurus12415 Yep, we're entering into a national clomid shortage (I know, I'm pissed too). This came up on the IF thread I think last week. Glad you'll be getting some!
@justkeepswimming8 Not a fan of gender reveal parties myself...
@muggle621 Thank you for the Team America reference!

@vflux33 Clomid is on shortage now!? WTAF is with all the shortages recently. I remember a few years ago it was normal saline (just plain ol'IV fluids). This summer it's bicarb. I swear I don't know what's up with the drug companies.

@mamasaurus12415 Sorry about your BFN
@notthefather Good luck with testing!
People who don't have bad cramps just don't get it. They think we are just being silly about it and that it's not as bad as we say. My RE did say based on that that it was possible I had endo, but the testing for endo is super invasive and the best treatment for endo is pregnancy, so I never found out.
@pebbledam That sounds fun! I've wanted to do one of those for a while.
@charlestonchew What kind of phone do you have?
@looeeze That is per cycle. So if you want to get up early one cycle, cool. If you want to get up later the next, also cool. That's very helpful in summer when I can't sleep past 5:00 usually.
@catlady1215 For me, gifing depends on the computer I'm on. If it's just a PC, though I just right click, copy, then paste. Easy. On my phone I save the picture then use the image uploader from TB. If it's on a mac, I actually have to do the URL thing.
@SkilledSailor I hope your appointment goes well and is helpful!
@Mythril That's exactly why I feel compelled to test the trigger out. I know that if I had the itch early I'd be all conundrumed out.
@mamasaurus121415 Yeah, somehow there's a national Clomid shortage.
@justkeepswimming8 Does this reveal party have any hope of drama? You could just enjoy that. (BIL & SIL did one for kid #2 and done. She's a girly girl. First kid was a boy. Cake was blue. She got just a little teared up, then was horrified at herself and then started crying, while her family started in giving her shit about well who's going to have a girl?! It was a disaster. Looking back, it's hilarious. She and I aren't close but I was the only one to actually be nice to her about it and tell her it was okay to be a little sad she's going to miss the girl experience but to pep her up on how fun brothers are.)
@muggle621 Sorry you're working Monday. Frankly, I think more places should do the 5th off instead of the 3rd. Even if it's in the middle of the week. Then people have a recovery day.
@notthefather I love the gif. I've gotta watch the new season!
@vflux33 Best wishes for making the most of a couple weekend days where you can do your own thing! I'm now so curious what gifs came up for you!
@holly321 I hope she shows up soon. I hate that time between knowing she's coming and moving on. It's like slowly peeling off a giant bandaid.
@SkilledSailor Excuse me. Whut?? To ICE cramps? Did he get his degree from a Cracker Jack box? I mean, FFS, you don't have to have a uterus or to have gone to med school to know that ICING will not work on the cause of cramps. And oh, you have a lot of cysts so you have permission to get bloodwork done in five months? Sorry to be crass and bossy but F that. Bounce. Find a new doctor. This one is an effing moron. I wouldn't trust that dipshit with a pap smear, much less anything more complicated. Ice does nothing for peristalsis! FFS. Moron. You use heat to relax the muscle. I can't get over the stupidity. I'm still shaking my head. Really. Make doctor shopping a priority this weekend. I don't feel at all comfortable with the "well, you have a lot of cysts" *shrug* thing. We were just talking yesterday about ovarian torsion which can happen if you have a big ol' cyst that is enough to cause the ovary to twist, cutting of its blood supply and killing it. It's not common but you need a decent doctor. Now I'm so annoyed that that guy is out there giving people this level of care. Like I said, you don't have to have a uterus to know this stuff but I do prefer an OB/Gyn who is/has been responsible for the care and maintenance of lady parts of her own. ETA: No, I'm not usually this bossy about people's doctors when they say something I doubt. Often I go more, "Ehh, I'd keep an eye on it and check on this and that, make sure to mention this and if you're uncomfortable..." But I feel strongly that this guy is worthless at best and is wasting your time and putting you at risk at worst. I definitely would not trust him with a pregnancy. Fo sho.

@doxiemoxie212 Now that you know about your AF flow being abnormal, have you called your doc about it?
@pebbledam. So fun! We went to one this spring with a group of friends. We escaped just in time! ((The guy at the front desk told us that only 17% of groups actually escape within the hour timeframe, so we felt pretty proud of our accomplishment).
@muggle621 nice gif!
