Kid comes in (for 2nd time in 2 weeks) without a winter jacket on. The weather here is sub zero celsius. Last time I wrote and called home, saying please make sure he's dressed appropriately before leaving the house.
So, he comes in this morning, no jacket. I get the office to call home, mom says "he doesn't want to wear it." Um, hello? Who's the parent here? Your kid is nine years old. Make him wear his fVcking jacket.

Very true. In fact, I think I have a keychain that says this.
Even if the office did have spares, I wouldn't be lending this kid one. He can sit in the office all recess until his mother brings his jacket.

I love that. Maybe I'm just mean but I'd shove my kid's arms in the jacket and make him zip it up and everything. Maybe put on the hood for good measure. You're going to wear that jacket dammit because I said so. LOL
I hate parents like that.
