Testing: not going to
R/R: I've been spotting all shades of brown since 10dpo. Sometimes light, sometimes not so light, but always annoying. Just get here already AF and stop playing peek-a-boo.
CS/Q: Those with low progesterone: did you suspect you were low before getting it confirmed (if so, why)? And what are you doing now to remedy it?
GTKY: What is your most cringeworthy childhood memory? I once told a teacher that she didn't look that great in her wedding pictures. That's when I learned that adults had been lying to me for years and honesty was not always the best policy.
Rant: I let myself get my hopes up about this cycle. Womp womp. Rave: More beer?

GTKY: What is your most cringeworthy childhood memory? I'll have to come back when and if I think of one that isn't too dark and/or totally inappropriate for this thread.
@hedgepig@pebbledam I just realized your cat face avatars are really similar if you're not paying close attention. I was like, "why did hegdepig lovetit herself?"
Testing: July 4th, CD 14. I'm going BSC though and I really need to find something to do with my time for the next week or so, so I don't totally lose my mind.
R/R: I feel like I woke up feeling emotionally off today. Something doesn't feel right. I feel like I want to go home but I AM at home. Maybe I should just go out and do something today so the feeling can pass.
CS/Q: FF is telling me my temps look rocky and that the fluctuations seem too high but I haven't changed my waking time, length of sleep, or anything. I've also never had a luteal phase while charting so I don't exactly know what's my "normal".
GTKY: What is your most cringeworthy childhood memory? Probably when I was in a school play about the Pilgrims and I marched forward towards the microphone to say my part but it wasn't my turn yet. My childhood was ripe with cringeworthy moments though.

CD/DPO:27/ 9? I have no idea. I was looking at my chart and really didn't feel confident in my temps, I added EWCM to cd 18 and it changed my crosshairs. Fyi, I stopped adding in CP and CM after I thought I O'ed (big mistake) and had EWCM later in the month.
Timing: who knows
Typical LP length: 15
Testing:. Waiting
R/R:. If I did o later, at least there is still hope, but our timing wasn't nearly as good, but if I O'ed early, I think I am out since no BFP yet.
I need a CS When do you think I O'ed.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What is your most cringeworthy childhood memory? While playing baseball I sat on my brother to tag him out and broke his nose.
Testing: July 1, but I broke down early. Negative obv.
R/R: I spotted the last 3 days with some cramping. I think if I'm still spotting today I'm almost certainly out. (It's fine, it's fine, I swear.) BUT a hair colorist I'm into on instagram had a cancellation for the second week of July so I think I'm going to finally bite the bullet and get dusty pastel hair (probably a dusty pinky purpley color melt situation?). I have super dark hair (I get balayage highlights, though, so the ends are lighter) so tbd if we can do much in the first session.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What is your most cringeworthy childhood memory?
I went to a small k-8 school, and there were only 40 of us per grade, so you can imagine the cattiness. The girls all decided periods were extremely gross in 5th/6th grade, so when this new girl came to us and told us she got her period everyone was like, oh that's nice, but then wouldn't stop talking behind her back about how disgusting that was for her to say. So imagine my horror and dismay when I got my period toward the end of 6th grade. Flash forward to 7th grade, and I would wear a tampon and a pad so I didn't have to change them as frequently. We were in English class, and I was slouching very low in my chair when the teacher called me to write on the board. When I turned back around there were a lot of shocked faces. A few people told me I must have sat in red paint so I went to the bathroom, and lo and behold, I'd bled through my pants (the ol' blood down the butt crack maneuver). Thank god I was popular for whatever reason because everyone seriously just went with the red paint thing, no one ever made fun of me, but I wanted to d-i-e. I'd like to say that I was more careful moving forward, but I bled through short shorts the next year. and I've bled through my pants like 5 times in the last year. So. I'm doing great. Lol
Testing: oh the urge even though I know how early it is. Trying to hold off till sat 7-1
R/R: my work day is full of meetings. But i work from home. So I'm kicked back with my feet up. I don't mind meetings like this.
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: What is your most cringeworthy childhood memory? My earliest memory. I was 14 months old. And I remember getting a spinal tap. I had been really sick, at first they thought pneumonia. then em something else. My mom had me in a cool tub of water due to fever. Then I remember laying on my left side on the ER table for the tap. It hurt. I screamed. I peed the bed and they held me over the toilet lol.
@looeeze sorry about all the spotting. Hope your body just figures out what it's doing.
@holly321 Sorry about the O confusion. Yeah I only don't record CM when on AF because I get "patches" of EWCM throughout my cycle. Beta is 1 week from today unless I get AF. I actually think she scheduled it too early because my LPs are sometimes up to 16 days. She said because of the Clomid it will be exactly 14 days. I was like... what? I am now realizing I should ask this in chart stalk...
@doxiemoxie212 Sorry for your BFN. Your story is definitely cringeworthy!
@looeeze I'm sorry about all of the spotting. Hopefully AF quits being coy and gets this show on the road, starting a fresh cycle for you. TW The first one after a loss is so hard. Hopefully moving on to the next will give you a bit of healing. Have you suspected low progesterone before your loss? If you're just worried based on this cycle, I'd wait and see what the next two do. If you still have concerns, talk to your doctor about it. My RE's take is that progesterone tends to bounce around even during the same day so it's hard to get a super legit reading. So she thinks that if you have a short LP and are worried but nothing else is indicative of a different problem, it doesn't hurt to supplement progesterone. The risks are so low with it and side effects are typical/manageable. I do 100mg vaginally twice a day (taken out of context, that sounds like someone who needs and intervention ) It's all pantiliners all the time and I may have a headache from it a bit but it doesn't really bother me.
@mamasaurus12415 Maybe you had a dream that you don't remember but left its lingering feeling of yuck. I've had days that sound similar. Hope you can find something to turn things around. Sometimes I like to tell myself that a shower is a fresh start and I'll try to make the moment I step out a new day.
@vflux33 Look at you and me, posting all early and stuff!

R/R: I've been up since 4 for some reason. It's going to be a long day. I also am moving into a new position at work where I'll be doing the arrangements for all of our trade shows (plus some other stuff). I haven't received the actual offer yet but it's just a matter of paperwork now. It's a welcome change but I'm definitely apprehensive, especially since I don't have a direct replacement so it's going to take some time of doing both jobs before I can successfully dump the old responsibilities.
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: I'm drawing a blank on funny embarrassing. The only two that are coming to mind are when I called my teacher Grandma and when I got in trouble for telling other kids that a classmate's dad was a drug dealer. Which was true (my uncle was a cop, he came across the street to our house after doing something there to wash his hands). And it was why I wasn't allowed to play at her house. I still feel terrible about it. Poor kid. I hope she's doing okay wherever she is.

@looeeze yay for spotting! What a joy! Will I ever feel confident wearing white pants again? :-/ lol
@vflux33 yea we didn't get a lot of bites on the LP question. Ask about the clomid lol
@kiki75 is it cd3 blood work that confirms low progesterone? Seems counterintuitive to me because isn't it during LP that one needs progesterone high? But that's what my obgyn said if I wanted to test...
@kiki75 I had no idea you couldn't lovetit yourself! Yet another reason to shake my fist at the BGs. What if I say something really great and I want to give myself props?? Sorry you woke up early too. I don't know what to do with myself when this happens (other than bump, of course). I'd be so nervous if I were you about the 2 jobs till you get a replacement thing. Maybe don't be super good at doing both at once so that they hire someone sooner?
@doxiemoxie212 Yeah no one cared about that question! Oh well. We'll see if anyone bites on the Clomid/LP one, and if not, I'll ask in the IF thread.
R/R: I’m cramping a bit
this morning so that’s great seeing as normally I cramp the day before AF.
Hopefully it’s not AF. On a happy note, DH is taking today and tomorrow off of
work so we get to hang out extra this week!

turned the other way.
R/R: Still feeling lots of fatigue but less than a few days ago, so that's good! A whole lot of pelvic pain that's kicking in post-surgery for some reason. And I'm feeling anxious about my best friend's wedding this weekend--worried I'll drop the MOH ball somehow.
CS/Q: nope!
GTKY: What is your most cringeworthy childhood memory? Oh gosh, so many choices Probably the time at the children's liturgy at church, we went around and said what we were praying for and I said "I hope my little sister doesn't go crazy and bite me!", for some reason thinking this would make the popular girls laugh? (They did not ) Oh well, I thought I was hilarious.
@hedgepig Sorry for the BFN @doxiemoxie212 Dusty pastel hair is so pretty!! @catlady1215 I was just thinking that I wish I was working from home today. I excel at couch meetings. The spinal tap sounds terrible!!
@looeeze : Your cringe story made me cringe! Ouch! I'm so sorry about the spotting. I know it has to be frustrating to be in limbo. @hedgepig : Sorry for the BFN. I hope you are able to do something nice for yourself today. How awful to have to carry that guilt around! @mamasaurus12415 : I'm sorry you're having a rough day. Maybe a walk or exercise will help? Hope you find something that helps. Is the FF insight you're getting part of the VIP account? I'm seriously considering buying in next month. I love all things charts and analysis. @holly321 : I'm no tempt expert but with the high temps and no BFP yet I'd also be inclined to guess CD 18. @doxiemoxie212 : So sorry for the BFN. I'm pretty sure your childhood experience is every girl's nightmare. At least the kids were kind. @kiki75 : Congrats on the new job! @justkeepswimming8 : FX that it's not AF!
Month/cycle: 1/1
DD/DPO: 21/6
Timing: -3, -2, O
Typical LP length: 14 Testing: I'm a 10 DPO sucker. I could lie and say it's because I don't want to test at my in laws during 4th of July but it's really just because I'm a sucker. I'm prepared for disappointment anyway.
R/R: I set my temp time too early this month. I thought it was smart to temp at 4:00 and then go back to sleep. I have yet to go back to sleep.
CS/Q: None. Thank you for the input yesterday! I'll just keep the 2DPO temp counted. I looked through FF charts and it doesn't seem that abnormal anyway.
GTKY: What is your most cringeworthy childhood memory? So many. I was an incredibly awkward child.
@kiki75 I'm starting to worry I don't have the best obgyn. TW - first, I MCed at like 5-6 weeks, and she made me promise to abstain from TTC for two months (not cycles; 8 weeks. Second, I complained about mid cycle bleeding and despite having zero other symptoms for fribroids and a lot for low progesterone, she insisted I have an ultrasound (no fibroids). Then she said if I wanted to she'd do cd3 blood work. Do most obgyns insist on cd3 blood work before 7dpo? She told me this when I was like 2 days from ovulating (which she knew) so it's not like cd3 came first chronologically or something.
@notthefather It's in my Detailed Interpretation, which might be part of the VIP package but I'm not sure. I think the VIP membership is so worth it. You get a ton of extra features!

@mamasaurus12415 Sorry you're feeling off. I hope you can shake it. @holly321 I'd agree with FF on your O. FX! @doxiemoxie212 Sorry about the BFN. Stupid spotting! And I can totally relate to your story. I went to a small K-12 school and had a few "red paint" incidents myself. I haven't worn white pants since ever because I'm still scarred. @catlady1215 Thank you. Your earliest memory sounds like a terrifying one! @kiki75 Sorry you're up so early but congrats on the new position! I've been thinking that I have low P for a few cycles now. I mentioned it to my doc **TW and then two days later I got the BFP so she was like "see, nothing to worry about!" but then a week later I mc'd so maybe there is something to worry about. She said to try again for a few cycles. END** I called a naturopath instead and have an appt next month. Thanks for sharing, I might PM you later for more details if that's ok. @justkeepswimming8 LOL at your snot bubble!!! FX for you.

R/R: I'm going to Canada tomorrow for my BFF's birthday and I'm coming back on Friday. I just realized this weekend is Canada day aka long weekend so the border crossing should be fun...
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: What is your most cringeworthy childhood memory? I fell down the high diving board at the public pool. I went all the way up and decided I was scared and didn't want to jump so I turned around and went down the ladder and slip. I was really lucky I didn't break my neck!! just lots of bruises and probably caused a ton of gray hair to my poop mom!
@danjoly Hiiiiii!!!!!! How ironic that you got scared of the high dive and then ended up hurt backing out of it. That sucks!
@doxiemoxie212 You can fudge the CD 3 stuff a bit my OB/Gyn did CD 3 stuff on CD 9 just because that's when I happened to be in for an appointment but, on my own I usually ovulate around CD 17-18 so it was well before ovulation. When I transferred to the RE, I was clear about when blood was drawn but she didn't want to do a retest. Included in those labs were FSH, LH, and Prolactin. The two months part is a little odd, though. Maybe she just finds that to cover all of the bases without being confusing? But mine went with one cycle so it was just over a month benched.

@kiki75 yeah, I mean, two days after I started bleeding, I'd passed almost everything naturally, she my hcg was back at zero, so, uh. Seemed odd. Was fine bc I wanted to TTA for eight months anyway after that but whatever. It just seems weird to me to test cd3 before cd23 if progesterone is the issue unless doctors HAVE to do that for insurance reasons or something. Whatever. She's really junior, and I'm trying to not let that sway my perception of her but I guess maybe it is.
@looeeze-- haha I once told a lady at my daycare she was "so big" but I meant tall. Needless to say I learned the definition of tall and big that day @hedgepig -- sorry about the BFN What beer will you be enjoying? @justkeepswimming8 - I have everything crossed for you and that this will be a good sign!! @doxiemoxie212 -- I am sorry you are having doubts about your OB//GYN. I loovvveeee mind but it breaks my heart that she will prescribe Clomid unmonitored and is always unfamiliar with femara. hmm
Month/cycle: 3/2
CD/DPO: 41/7
Timing: -3, O
Typical LP length: 11-13 days
Testing: I actually tested this morning for shits and giggles and it was negative. DUH. wtf was I thinking? Will try again this weekend?
R/R: I was hoping to wake up this morning to a spike in temp but it BARELY went up so I am already pretty pessimistic about this.
CS/Q: Can sleeping with minimal blankets and with a fan on cause your body to not get up to a high enough temp? I am grasping at straws here. ha
GTKY: What is your most cringeworthy childhood memory? Despite my little boy haircuts my dad gave me because he didn't understand how to raise a girl by himself? Finding my dad's porn tapes and showing them to my neighbor. Who quickly told on me to her mom and she came over and confronted my dad. I am forever traumatized.
I wouldn't feel bad at all about changing OB/Gyns. Let the BTDT ladies break the FNG in and get yourself someone more experienced. You're not running a charity for new doctors, y'know? You need someone you're going to feel comfortable with and trust. When you get pregnant again, you need someone who is going to say this or that and you're going to feel confident and aren't going to have that niggling doubt.
It would seem to make sense to me that it's worth doing both the CD 3 set as well as the progesterone after O. That way if you do have low progesterone, they might be more able to figure out why because that issue may be influencing other things. For example, the prolactin. I haven't done an extensive amount of reading on it but my understanding was that elevated prolactin can suppress the FSH, leading to a lack of ovulation at the extreme or perhaps just a cruddy ovulation that left behind an also sub-par corpus luteum, leading to low prolactin. *TW* I haven't done a full normal cycle on the prolactin medication (the only one that wasn't Clomid + Gonal-F + Ovidrel was my CP cycle which seemed like it still may have made things wonky) but my theory is that my prolactin was in the range where it was interfering with the FSH just enough to cause that chain reaction. It made sense because I usually ovulate around CD 17-18 and then would have an 11-day, sometimes shorter LP.

@holly321 – Ugh sorry about confusing O and BFNs. I hope that things get sorted out!
@doxiemoxie212 – sorry about BFN and spotting. FX it’s just early since your LP is 15 -16
@catlady1215 – I work from home and absolutely love it. I know it’s bad, but most days I don’t get out of my PJs.
@kiki75 – sorry about the early rise this morning. GL in your new position! That’s so exciting!

@hedgepig Sorry for the BFN
@doxiemoxie212 Dusty pastel hair is so pretty!!
@catlady1215 I was just thinking that I wish I was working from home today. I excel at couch meetings. The spinal tap sounds terrible!!
TTC#1` since June 2017
@justkeepswimming8 : FX that it's not AF!
Month/cycle: 1/1
Testing: I'm a 10 DPO sucker. I could lie and say it's because I don't want to test at my in laws during 4th of July but it's really just because I'm a sucker. I'm prepared for disappointment anyway.

FX for you.
CD/DPO: 21/2DPO
Typical LP length: I'm usually 13-14 days since baby1 but before I was anywhere between 10-16
I fell down the high diving board at the public pool. I went all the way up and decided I was scared and didn't want to jump so I turned around and went down the ladder and slip. I was really lucky I didn't break my neck!! just lots of bruises and probably caused a ton of gray hair to my poop mom!

@hedgepig -- sorry about the BFN What beer will you be enjoying?
@justkeepswimming8 - I have everything crossed for you and that this will be a good sign!!
@doxiemoxie212 -- I am sorry you are having doubts about your OB//GYN. I loovvveeee mind but it breaks my heart that she will prescribe Clomid unmonitored and is always unfamiliar with femara. hmm
CD/DPO: 41/7
Typical LP length: 11-13 days

Man I've done a lot of stupid things. I feel bad when I was in elementary school and I opened my big mouth to show shock at the size of an overweight individual and the kid with me told me it was their mom. It took me a long time to keep my thoughts to myself and I still stick my foot in my mouth to this day.
