What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Seeing a RE, Metformin ER 2000mg, about to artificially induce a cycle and start Femara to make me ovulate. I have PCOS. I was slightly overweight so I spent a few months losing weight to get my BMI down to 24 and we hoped that combining weight loss with Metformin would do the trick. No such luck. (But loving the weight loss though!) I had been using the Glow app to track temperature, but once I start next CD1 after this round of Provera I'll be switching to Fertility Friend (my RE recommended I switch, and apparently that's what everyone on here uses). Not currently temping (needed a break). We also use Pre-seed.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) No kids. TTC #1. We have a mutt named Rosie (probably part chihuahua, part rat terrier) who thinks she runs the house. I like hiking, yoga, and glamping ("glamorous camping" if you don't know what "glamping" means), and I'm starting rock climbing classes next month (!!).
I'm looking forward to meeting you all!

Hi and welcome! I'm also a beginning rock climber! What kind of classes are you taking? Gym climbing or sport/trad?
How many months have you been TTC? This is our 1st month for baby #2
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Fertility friend, trying to exercise on the regular, trying to minimize the TTC-related worry.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I've got a delightful toddler, and hubby and I both work full time. No time for hobbies: our down time is usually spent at the local pool with our little one, or at the park.

How many months have you been TTC? 3, but off of BC for over a year without TTA so there's that.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Right now, taking a few months just to do very basic cycle tracking. I have adrenal fatigue as well as thyroid and pcos troubles and my stress levels are always high so that I just didn't want to fuss over this too much. Now considering more closely monitoring my cycles so I came to this board for help. In addition, trying to lose weight (which is oh so much fun with all the other mentioned conditions lol) and reduce stress.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have one DD who is turning 3 this week. I'm the tasting room manager for a winery in Woodinville, WA, but that is just a weekend job so I mostly just stay home with my daughter during the week. I love wine, love to cook, read and I volunteer often around the community. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and
How many months have you been TTC? Just started this cycle
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? we are more NTNP but I started charting to have a better idea of how my body works and to help us as we move more towards actively trying - I also started prenatals after reading about the benefits of starting those prior to pregnancy.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc) We have two little dogs, a Cavalier King Charles and a lhasa apso/poodle mix. No kids.
@beanship & @msmeeseeks I used to work at a climbing wall in college so I climbed fairly regularly. I haven't been able to keep up with it but I get to our local climbing gym a couple times a year. The good news is that lots of upper body strength is not required. You should actually use your legs to push yourself up the wall more than pulling up with your arms. But of course there are always those ripped guys who don't understand that concept
How many months have you been TTC? Just started cycle number 5
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Charting temps and cm, opks, thinking of trying pre-seed
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I'm a professor, and just finished my first year teaching. Loving the job so far! We have two kitties, no kids yet, play a lot of a board games, and are big fans of Doctor Who (I'm noticing a lot of Whovians on the board!). I also crochet and read a lot. I'm looking forward to getting to know folks on here!
@darkstar42 I too am a huge Dr. Who fan!!! Who is your favorite doctor? Mine is David Tennant but I am fond of Matt Smith as well.

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? NTNP, we decided to wait a couple of months before charting and really stressing over it since we aren't on a real time table. I'm taking prenatals and trying to drink more water. We are both trying to exercise more and eat less sugar.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) No kids, but we do have three dogs and three hedgehogs. I'm going into my third year teaching 3rd & 4th grade this year. I'm trying to learn how to crochet or knit but it's not going very well so far.
ETA: that came out a little awkward, but I'm just so excited about hedgehogs
I knit and crochet if you want any tips/have any questions/want someone to commiserate with when the frustration kicks in!
