  • I love your name list. My favorites with Jackson are: Lucy, Cora, Madelyn and Olivia.
I've never heard of Nola and Ellie feels to nn for me. I also think there are lots of little girls nn ellie if that bothers you at all? My daughter is Elaina and we call her Ellie sometimes.

I like Celia from your list. Adding: Cecily

My favorites are Cora, Fiona, and Lucy.  But I think Ellie and Madelyn sound more like twins with Jackson
  • I like most of the names.  My favorites are Eloise, Nora and Fiona.

  • Top 3 in order: Nora, Cora, Lucy.
  • Lucy or Cora! Our top names if it was a girl.. but it's a boy! Lol  really love lucy
  • Fiona, Eloise and Olivia

  • Nola - makes me think of New Orleans.
Madelyn - this goes with Jackson best for me because of also ending with an "n"
Ellie - great nickname. Don't like as a full name
Fiona - love it, unless you/your kids will think if shrek.
Olivia - #2 or #3 in popularity, which is reason for me to exclude it. But Jackson is also super popular so this may not matter to you.
Cora - love this. Especially after downton abbey
    Lucy - meh
Celia - I would prefer the longer version if Cecelia instead
Eloise - love this. Will there be pronunciation issues where you live?
Nora - like it. But like others more.

  • I really like a lot of names on your list. Ellie seems more like a nickname than a stand-alone name, but it is pretty. Fiona, Olivia, Cora and Celia are all good names but not necessarily my favorites. I love Nora, Eloise, Lucy and Madeline (or Madeleine) but not a fan of Madelyn.

Overall, I think any name from your list would work!
  • I like Eloise and you could use nn Ellie if you wanted.

I think Jack and Eloise (Ellie) or Jack and Olivia sound best together.

  • Nola - nice, but you have better names on the list.  See Nora at bottom.

Madelyn - I would spell it "Madeline."  Pairs well with Jackson. However, if you're looking to be original, these names are very popular where I live, and it seems that every future soccer mom loves these names.  Very suburban.

Ellie -- Love as a nn for Eleanor.  Pairs well with Jackson.  I'd say this is in my top 3.

Fiona  -- If you pair this with Jackson, it will seem like you're trying very hard to be cool.

    Olivia  -- Similar to Madelyn/Madeline.

Cora -- A good, under-utilized name.  In the top 3.

Lucy -- Like it, but would use as a nn for Lucille.

Celia -- Again, would use as a nn for Cecelia.  If you went with Cecelia, it would be in the top 3.  Celia seems like half a name, which puts it out of sync with Jackson.

Eloise -- Nope.  When I hear this, I think "cow."  Maybe I had a book with a cow named Eloise when I was a kid?

Nora -- Another top 3 finisher.  Nice, but I'd put it behind Cora, actually.

Congrats on your twins!  You have a solid list of girl names, and even though I mildly criticized some of them, you can't really go wrong with anything on this list!  In the grand scheme, these are great name choices.

Olivia.  I'm not a fan of the other names.
