CS/Q:
GTKY: It's Monday. What's something awesome you have planned for this week? (If you want to say "nothing" then you better plan something fun for yourself!) On Saturday we're having a BBQ at my parents' house. Might try to see if some of our friends want to play board games Friday night.
WAYDTGKU: The list is comically long...basically everything short of alkalizing my body
R/R: CD1 means I am finally off the bench. (tw) For newbies who do not know me I had a second trimester pregnancy loss at the beginning of May followed by a complicated recovery including retained tissue requiring repeat surgery. I've been benched from ttc (and from all sex, and tampons, and baths...) for weeks. (end tw) So today is a big day for us!
CS/Q:
GTKY: I'm having lunch in the park today with a friend I haven't seen in months! So excited.
R/R: I've been kind of depressed the past couple of days (trying to work through some heavy family and personal stuff, plus CD1 wasn't super awesome) so I haven't gotten much done around the house. I'm determined to have a good, productive day today!
CS/Q: not temping yet this cycle
GTKY: It's Monday. What's something awesome you have planned for this week? (If you want to say "nothing" then you better plan something fun for yourself!) MH is out of town until Wednesday, which is my birthday! He said that we are doing something fun for that, though I don't know what it is. Plus, my dad is visiting Wednesday as well (for my birthday and to bring another load of stuff to the new house that he just bought near here). So, I'm excited for Wednesday!
@KariAnn323 While I am not a fan of the LLR leggings, I will agree that they do have some great, ultra comfy skirt and dress options. I've got a maxi and a casie skirt that I love. I hope that your new dress has you feeling pretty and comfy today!
@adirat Yay for CD1 and a new beginning (sort of) for you. I've been following your story and am so happy to see you here and off the bench!
@KariAnn323 I wish I could wear dresses to work... stupid labs lol. BBQ sounds fun! @adirat Don't you know you gotta drink ALL the lemon water Yay, glad you're off the bench! @kbamomma33 Happy almost birthday! I'm sorry to hear you've been having a rough time lately. I hope things start to look up and you have a super productive day!

WAYDTGKU: CM/CP, BBT, PNVs, HIO (gonna shoot for EOD although I haven't clued DH in on this info yet lmao)
R/R: Rant - nah. New week, new outlook, lets hope to keep it that way. Rave - Coffee. Extra sleep. Kitty snuggles. DH cuddles. Crafting.
CS/Q: Apparently since having my IUD out a few months back DH says I'm uber hormonal (no duh genius I'm not on BC). What do you guys do to not drive your SO bonkers. DH says he's somewhat worried that if we ever get KTFU I'ma be so nuts he's gonna go live at the ILs until a LO gets pooped out.
GTKY: It's Monday. What's something awesome you have planned for this week? (If you want to say "nothing" then you better plan something fun for yourself!) I hope to re-plant my herbs (stupid squirrels!), work on the a few crafts, hopefully go fishing at some point, watch terrible movies with DH (Critters is on the list for tonight), and start a new book

WAYDTGKU: now that I've finished the clomid for this cycle, we're back to just the basics. Although I am drinking some hot lemon water right now.
R/R: I got nothing today.
CS/Q: Are mentions of my 2yo kosher in here (or on the board in general)? I know when I was here the first time around we kind of went back and forth on wether or not kid mentions required a TW or not, so I'm curious where the pendulum is swinging right now. I saw there is a TFAS thread, so should I keep my mentions limited to there?
GTKY: This week is a really normal week for me, which is actually kind of exciting because we've been a little crazy since mid May. I should be able to make all 5 of my favorite yoga classes this week which I have not managed in a very long time.
R/R: After what I know call the "Dilynne Health Debacle 2017" last week, I'm hoping I can move forward and feel better this week. But being on cycle 17 really doesn't help.

@adirat I'm sorry for your loss, but glad to see CD1 for you.
@lazycrane I try to keep things on TFAS. I think it is okay to mention kids occasionally, but don't bring them up without a real purpose. Like if you go for a walk with your LO, you can just say you went for a walk. And I'm not sure about the TW, someone may be able to explain it better.

WAYDTGKU: pnvs, clomid, opks, temping
R/R: Rave: The weather has been great the past few days and I'm glad I got to get out and enjoy it. Rant: The EWCM that I had the other day has vanished. So I'm thinking that O day will be "normal" for me around CD 20. And I thought todays temp would help me determine, but... see CS/Q.
CS/Q: So I didn't sleep well last night - lots of tossing and turning. I woke up thinking it was close to 5am (my normal temping time) and temped. Buuuttttt it was actually like 1:15am. So I made a mental note of that temp and tried to go back to sleep. Tossed and turned for what felt like forever and then temped again at 5. There is only a 0.34F degree difference with the 5am temp being higher. Which temp should I keep? Charts in spoiler:

@Dilynne Glad to hear you have a happy weekend coming up after a rough past week.

@kbamomma33 Lots of creepy internet hugs! I'm here if you ever need to talk. I'm wearing an Amelia today. It's sooo soft! I tried on a Cassie, but it wasn't flattering on me and the fabric is so thin that I don't think spanx would help. Their maxis are cute but way too long on me.
@lurvleybunchococonuts This is going to sound harsh, but I would tell YH to deal with it. I mean if it's to the point that your snapping at everyone all the time that's one thing. But if it's just normal hormonal stuff that he's not used then it's something he's going to have to get used to.
@Dilynne Did they ever determine what was going on? I don't think I saw anything but I could have missed it.
@MrsMiller8588 Which one are you wearing? I have a teal Amelia on with a gray cardigan, and I definitely feel like I should be wearing some pearls.
@LazyCrane I agree with @becausescience about not bringing up your LO outside of TFAS unless there is a purpose. You shouldn't feel bad about talking about your LO, but just remember your audience when posting and try to be considerate of that. There are a lot of women here who desperately want a LO of their own to talk about, so hearing about everyone's LOs all over TTGP could be stinging to someone having a hard TTC day, KWIM? As for the TW, if you look in the "read this first" thread at the top of the page, there is a section talking about TWs with a link to another thread with a poll and a lengthier discussion on the topic. The consensus there was that a TW is not necessary for casual mention of children. However, someone else asked this same question recently and one of the ladies here (I think it was @vflux33 maybe) gave a really great response. Basically, it was that, no, you don't have to put a TW, but how long does it really take to type out TW if it's going to save someone a look at something that might be upsetting to them? AFM, I will generally add a TW when I mention anything about my LO.
@Dilynne Hopefully this week will be a better one for you. I'm really sorry about everything from last week.
Thank you so much for the sweet words @MrsMiller8588! I'm sorry that you are feeling stressed about your week. Try to just focus on what you can get done each day, one day at a time. I know that when I look at my whole week sometimes, it can get so overwhelming! Just do the best you can. Hopefully you can squeeze in some time to relax somewhere!
@becausescience If it were me, I would keep the 5am temp, since it is closest to your regular temp time. You marked sleep deprived, so FF will take that into account. I might put the 1am temp and time in the notes for that day though, just in case your chart starts looking wonky next week, so you'll have it.
@kbamomma33 I'm a lab tech/QC for a company that manufactures cattle feed
@KariAnn323 I hear ya. I've been trying to bite my tongue and don't *think* I've been overly snappy (which probably means I have been, grr at myself). I definitely have not had as much patience as usual and have been having some extreme mood swings (which neither of us are used to). We had a really good talk yesterday after I told him that he needs to have a bit more patience with me or we quit TTC/I go back on BC (which he doesn't want, he 100% wants a LO). And he was joking about go to the ILs (but of course I didn't take as joking at first). I'm just frustrated with myself still getting used to the unregulated hormones. Silly me never thought going off BC would make that much difference. I think part of it is that I need to be more realistic with the expectations I set for myself. - sorry for the ramble. If TLDR: thanks! You're right. He needs to get used to it, it's new to us both (this is the first time off BC since I was 18) and I need to be more realistic/need a reminder on occasion not to be a B. Harsh is sometimes exactly what I need to hear.
Edited to add to my thoughts

@adirat What I hear the best way to alkalize your body for trying to get KU is to lick an alkaline battery. And I learned that from my boss' exgirlfriend's hairdresser's uncle who once saw a blonde chick that looked like Gwyneth Paltrow crossing the street in New York so I trust him more than, you know, science. </snark> Congrats are being off the bench! @kbamomma33 Happy Early Birthday! Sorry about the down mood. I hope you have a productive day.
@lurvleybunchococonuts I had big hormonal and mood swings after getting my IUD out the first time (it was better this time but had it in a shorter period of time). Took me a couple of months to get regulated. *TW* For what it's worth, I felt like my mood swings after IUD removal were worse than while I was KU, hopefully it will be that way for you too?*end TW* @LazyCrane I TW before talking about DD most of the time but I think I may just be being over cautious. I think I remember this being discussed recently and people being on both sides of the fence about it. @becausescience Your post (and the 15% off coupon I was just texted) have inspired me to get a pedicure today!

@fishsticks-n-custard FX that's the case! I had my IUD (mirena) for the full 5 years, so it's a big change. I was so even-keeled for so long I feel a little batty lately. FX you get EWCM soon! @lurvleybunchococonuts just a little touch up on the roots. I made a big change and went darker last year and had big regrets so a little gun shy about veering away from the lighter color now.
@Pinky917 definitely need pictures! I did a kitchen reno beginning of this year. Love, love!

@lurvleybunchococonuts It was so fun! Thanks for asking! The weather was chilly for this time of year and DHs team lost their second game so he was disappointed. But it was good to see friends and hang out!

R/R: I got turned down for a job that I really wanted (on Thursday), and that's been seriously emotionally draining me all weekend. Yesterday DH got really pissy about some house stuff and we had a little bit of a fight but it seems ok now. But I'm just ready for today to be over and to feel better tomorrow.
CS/Q: I had like a 1.5 day period this cycle, which is a little worrisome. Did some CS on FF and there are a nice bunch of charts that are at the least ovulatory and at the most a BFP. So since this is the first time I've had a short AF I'm just gonna say ty and not think much about it.
GTKY: It's Monday. What's something awesome you have planned for this week? (If you want to say "nothing" then you better plan something fun for yourself!). We have a celebration dinner for our branch winning Branch of the Quarter. I kinda don't want to go since all the VPs are there and they're always trying to blow smoke up my ass about how I'm such a great teller and joking about "I'm going to steal you for my region" or offering to write me a recommendation. Yet I've been turned down for 5 transfers/promotion, so clearly they're all full of shit and/or their opinions don't really don't matter. So I sorta don't want to see them all and put on a happy face and act like "omg yes this is amazing I love working here you are all fantastic!" when I just want to poke their eyes with a stick.
@JennyColada Sorry to hear about the job. Are you also looking outside your current company? And do something nice for yourself on your mental health day.
@nitnat007 I loved BodyPump when I had a Y membership. And it helped me get "in shape" for my wedding. (In quotes bc I've never really been in shape - but it was good for me.) Do you have any thoughts about the Les Mills On Demand subscription? I'd love to start BodyPump again, but the gyms that offer it in my area are not close by.
@Dilynne I had a terrible kidney infection a few years ago. I was in so much pain and super feverish. The Urgent Care Clinic still said I had to have a fever for 3 days and did nothing for me. I went back the next day and a different doctor was able to diagnose me. Hope you are feeling better!
@hollieileen Boo for CD1 I find temping really helpful to figure out O. It is annoying at first, but once you get into the habit isn't too bad.

@becausescience I think it would be helpful for me bc my cycles are always a little inconsistent. But I'm really afraid of obsessing over charting. i obsess enough as it is haha! I just can't decide...
@JennyColada sorry about the rough week! Hope the coming days are better!!
@nitnat007, I do body pump once or twice a week when I'm really on my game--which I haven't been lately. I actually got called out by a yoga friend this morning because I haven't been to body pump in so long...whoops. I told her I'd try to make it tomorrow. It's right after the yoga class, so in theory it should be easy to do. It's just so hard to get up and moving like that after shavasana.
@dukestar5, yes, the rules I read and the things I was noticing in posts didn't match to me, so that's why I asked the question. I was on this board for about a year TTC my first and it was something we went back and forth on then too, so I'm not surprised. It's easy enough to do, just not something I'm in the habit of. It's a habit I can form. Just like a daily yoga practice. Which I do at my gym. I occasionally like to mix things up, so I enjoy having the options, but my gym has several great yoga instructors so I'm lucky in that regard.
@JennyColada Sorry to hear about your job. It's a horrible feeling when you are not happy at work. Hope that something changes soon!
@becausescience I haven't tried the on demand stuff personally. But from what I understand it's basically the same versions of we get as instructors to learn from. Which is awesome. If you have the weights or stuff to modify, totally go for it!
@LazyCrane Maybe we should motivate each other. You can inspire me to go and do some yoga and I'll inspire you to get to pump?!
Thanks for your kind words, everyone I am also staying hopeful July will be a good month for all of us!
The day kind of got away from me but when I saw that awful closed thread I guess it was for the best...
@kbamomma33 Sorry to hear things have been so rough lately. I hope today was productive for you! It really is the small things that can make a bad day bearable.
@lurvleybunchococonuts@fishsticks-n-custard Haha, I like lemon water as much as anybody but I'm reeeeeeeal sure it won't get me KU! Ugh what an insufferable post that was, but at least we have a new inside joke now... Lemonade out of lemons, see what I did there?
Also @lurvleybunchococonuts I completely agree with @KariAnn323 ... Tell him to deal with it. You guys are having this baby together and you already have to do 98% of the work. He can deal.
I'd also like to add myself to the list of "it's okay to talk about your existing child if it's pertinent but don't overdo it." We've had people on here before who talked about their kid every. single. day and it's frankly grating. You may have already noticed how many ladies are in our infertility thread and how hard it is for some of us (I include myself here) to participate in daily threads. Being kind is a virtue here on ttgp and if it isn't hard for you, it's certainly appreciated.
@lurvleybunchococonuts Don't worry, it wasn't TLDR. Just remember that this is an adjustment. The most important part is communicating. He needs to understand that it's not only the hormones, but also all of the stress that goes with TTC. Like @adirat said you're bearing the brunt of this so he needs to get him panties out of twist and realize that some hormonal/stress stuff is going to happen. Talk to each other, maybe it's just one specific thing that gets him aggravated, work out things that you can do when you're starting to feel too hormonal (yoga, bath, reading a book, etc).
@dukestar5 I have lots of different ones. If it's a really big group, then I like Telestrations or Cards Against Humanity. We've been playing a lot of Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards lately. These friends have Exploding Kittens which is what we've been planning on playing the next time we get together.

MH is out of town until Wednesday, which is my birthday! He said that we are doing something fun for that, though I don't know what it is. @adirat Yay for CD1 and a new beginning (sort of) for you. I've been following your story and am so happy to see you here and off the bench!

CS/Q: So I didn't sleep well last night - lots of tossing and turning. I woke up thinking it was close to 5am (my normal temping time) and temped. Buuuttttt it was actually like 1:15am.

@SkilledSailor Enjoy your pool day!

@JennyColada sorry about the rough week! Hope the coming days are better!!

@JennyColada I'm sorry you're having a rough day.
