How far along are you?
35 weeks

How big is baby?
App says pineapple, ticker on the web says coconut. Now I want a pina colada.

Upcoming appointments this week?
Yep - officially having weekly appointments now!

Any new symptoms or changes?
This week has been rough in terms of my general discomfort. More frequent BH contractions, I feel heavier in general, and she has started digging into my bladder more. Fun times.

Rants/Raves/Questions?
My due date feels very far away, and if she comes late, that feels even farther away. But it hit me sometime this week that she actually could come early, like in the next 2-3 weeks, and that feels very soon. Somehow 3 weeks feels much sooner than 5 weeks. I don't know if that's a rant or a rave.

GTKY: if you could have any super power what would it be and why?
Teleportation. I could live wherever I want without worrying where my job is, visit my far-flung friends all the time, and travel around the world without all the hassle of flying, etc.

How far along are you? 37 weeks

How big is baby? A tackle box, or since I had a growth scan yesterday, estimated 6lbs 1oz

Upcoming appointments this week? Had a growth scan yesterday and rechecked his kidneys, which are still a little large. He will have to see a urologist after birth. Have another appointment next friday for a quick check. I'm thinking about declining a cervical check just because he will come when he wants.

Any new symptoms or changes? I haven't slept in bed with my DH in a week. The only place I can get comfortable with my sore hips is the couch, surrounded by pillows.

Rants/Raves/Questions? We got a new car yesterday! Went from a 2 door to a 4 door. We had been talking about it and figured we would deal with it until after he got here. I knew pushing the seats back and forth would be a pain but I've had family manage it. We've casually looked at a few cars but decided to take the plunge yesterday. It was a great decision and I love the new car!

GTKY (stolen from Tuesday): if you could have any super power what would it be and why? The power to know the history of an item just by touching it.

How far along are you? 36 weeks

How big is baby? Papaya. Like seriously what papaya is over 5 lbs and 18 inches long.

Upcoming appointments this week? This Thursday will be the GBS swab and first internal check.

Any new symptoms or changes? Getting so many more BH contractions. Some times I worry my water will break for the shear pressure.

GTKY (stolen from Tuesday): if you could have any super power what would it be and why? Ability to freeze time. Sometimes I wish I could just take a minute without life progressing. Silly I know.

35 weeks

How big is baby?
app says pineapple, but feels like a watermelon

Upcoming appointments this week?
weeklys. GBS and internal on Tuesday, then I can deny checks until 38 weeks.

Any new symptoms or changes?
Generally uncomfortable. Baby is starting to drop and my pelvis is sore. Had a massage yesterday that helped but only so much. Trying to stay active but really just want a pool and that Pina Colada @greenbean-2 was talking about.

Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rave: DH has been amazing these last few weeks. I have been more sore and tired and as long as I make a list, DH will takle it. We are ready to bring home a baby!

GTKY (stolen from Tuesday): if you could have any super power what would it be and why?
Teleportation or Apparate. I hate to fly so being able to get somewhere in a split second would be amazing!
