I ordered a maternity shirt yesterday, long before Old Navy was brought up. But, in my defense, it's something I think I could wear not pregnant and it still be super cute. I saw it a few weeks ago and made a mental note but couldn't pass on it yesterday when I saw that it was on sale. I'm pretty sure I just jinxed myself though.
@notthefather - I have a dress that I have been eyeing for a while on Pink Blush. If it ever went on sale I think I would cave... definitely no flames from me
@notthefather I still buy maternity tank tops because I like the length on them. Plus there are so many maternity things that don't look like they are. No shame!
^I'm currently holding off buying new tanks (the ones I have are ok for this summer, so I'm not in DIRE need) because I'm not ready to buy maternity wear (jinxing!), but I don't want to buy two tanks of the same colors like back to back.
But also, some of the shirts with rouching I think are super cute and I want them anyway.
I guess my botb themed fffc is that I'm considering faux registering at all the stores right now for the registry freebies. The only way I'm holding back is that our "baby room" isn't painted, so mentally it's "off limits" for filling.
@KFrob I still have my layering tanks from DS and I never stopped wearing them. I'm a shorty but the little length I have is in my torso so shirts are to short for me. I love the length of the maternity ones.
I'm lame at FFFC but I guess mine is I love using DS as an excuse to enjoy cartoons. I only think of this because I'm sitting here watching Phineus and Ferb currently
I don't really have a FFFC, I guess. Although I totally understand @JennyColada and registering for the freebies, lol. We did one for Target because they gave us a $20 gift card. Deleted it a couple of days later.
I don't have a FFFC but I bought a bunch of shirts and pants when the Thyme maternity store was closing out and I may have done the same thing when Sears put all of their maternity clothes on clearance...
Maternity clothes are such a racket. I have been thinking about trying out Letote (either regular clothes or, hopefully, maternity) soon. Has anyone used it before? It's a clothes rental company.
@notthefather I've never heard of that company, (I just googled to check them out now ) but I use Rent the Run Way every time I have a wedding to go to and have only had great experiences with them!
I've done stitchfix twice now for regular clothes and I plan on getting a maternity box from them which makes me super excited!
@KFrob: I didn't know StitchFix had maternity! I've received a few boxes from them but was never ended up buying much. Their customer service was great though! I would be open to trying again.
