I'm new, obviously, and my husband and I have been ttc for 17 months, with a miscarriage back in October. I'm hoping you gals will be able to help me with something.
A little background:
I had an Essure reversal January of 2016. Since then, my once regular/clockwork AFs have been anything but. Every month is something different. Shorter flow; lighter flow; back pain; food aversions; spotting prior; spotting after; spotting before and after. Typically it all goes away once AF is done and gone. Now I use a menstrual cup and do not use tampons or pads. This means I only check my flow and empty my cup twice a day: once in the morning and once in the night. I'm pretty sure I had a period this month. It was 1.5 days long, with very little flow in my cup the first day, and my cup overflowing the second day. Then a change to brown spotting once or twice a day for the next two days. I honestly chalked it up to another wonky flow in a litany of wonky flows.
The issue is, that the craving for tuna, milk (I'm on gallon 7 since O day and it's been over a year since I last drank milk), and peanut butter/bread that started before AF didn't cease after AF. And on the day of AF and ever since, I've had an aversion to coffee (I'm usually a at least a cup a day gal) and chocolate (it tastes funny now and smells weird). I stopped temping before AF started because my temp took a nosedive on 12dpo, which is typically a sign AF is coming. Haven't temped since. All hpts are BFNs. And the ever present, usual lotion cm I have wasn't present the week prior to AF, but again, wonky cycles, so wonky cycle. Though, now, on cd8 it's milky and stretchy, and I've never O'd prior to cd19, since I have a religious 8-10 luteal phase. Except for the last two cycles which I took Clomid and O'd on cd17 (O pain present) and had a 13 day luteal phase. And if I'm getting near O, that would put this cycle at less than 20 days long, since I didn't take the Clomid this cycle. I'm rambling, but I'm confused. Sorry! This cycle(s) have been WAY wonkier then my already wonky cycles. I miss clockwork and no symptoms pre- or during AF.
I can't figure out if the cravings and aversions are in my head or if I had first trimester bleeding. At this point, I really want my coffee, with sounds good, smells bad so no desire for it.
Any suggestions on conquering these weird cravings / aversions? I'm pretty damn sure I'm not pregnant, unfortunately, but AF is over, so can't be PMS. Anyone else every experienced this? Any thoughts on anything?

However, I do want to offer legitimate advice and say if your LP is "religiously" 8-10 days that is on the shorter side and I would mention it to your doctor.
Hi @mystic_timelord84, welcome! This board is a little different than others, so we try to keep the one off posts to a minimum to reduce board clutter. You can imagine that with a board like this sometimes people only stay a month but sometimes they stay years, and for those that have been around a long time it's annoying to answer the same questions over and over throughout the months/years without the person introducing themselves and getting a sense of the board culture via lurking first. So, intro on the newbie thread, jump into WTO/TWW (based on where you are in your cycle), and lurk lurk lurk. We're a fun bunch, I swear, and the organization will make sense once you've jumped in, I promise.
As for your questions, if you're turning negative pregnancy tests, you're not KU from what you've said re: your cycle. I think the food cravings are in your head. Food cravings can happen just part of your cycle. Shrug. Like @charlestonchew said, an 8-10 LP is in the short range, and you should talk to your doctor about it if you haven't already.
You might want to add a TW (trigger warning) in the first part of your post, by the way, since you mention a loss.

Okay on intro thread. I actually tried Google and no luck.
