  • (Hope it's ok I got this started, up early for work today).

    Month/Cycle: 4/1

    CD: 15

    WAYDTGKU: PNV, tracking CM, OPKs, temping (badly), HIO

    R/R: Rave: I got some booty last night. I'm a happy girl. (sorry if TMI). Rant: *TW* Toddler screamed in her sleep 30 minutes before my alarm which woke me up, checked on her and she's fast asleep. But momma's not.*end TW* But at least I got to enjoy my coffee and get the crockpot on for dinner tonight! Turkey breast with veggies for dinner.

    CS/Q: Not at the moment!

    GTKY: If you could live the life of any fictional character (or historical figure), who would you chose and why?
    You'd think I'd have an answer to my own GTKY, but I'm going to have to think about it. I think it would be fascinating to live in the WWII era, but that's all I have at the moment.

    WAYDTGKU: CM/CP, PNV, BBT, HIO

    R/R: Rant - *TW* (injuries dunno if this need a TW, but just to be safe) Dear DH, when attempting to change the batteries of something that needs a screw driver, do not use one of your insanely sharp pocket knives instead! Woke up about 30 mins after I fell asleep last night to DH saying "uhh babe? I need help. Can you get me a towel or something."  Walk into the bathroom (AKA the blood room) to see DH gripping his left hand with blood dripping from it, and a lovely trail of blood drops from the sink to the closet, on the washing machine. Essentially everywhere.  Yep, the genius sliced his thumb open good.  Got him all bandaged and cleaned up.  The damned iggit probably should have gotten stitches, but neither of us wanted to wake SD (she would have flipped her shiznit). So butterflies, gauze, tape, and a wrap sufficed.  It seemed to be doing okay when I left this AM. Hadn't bled through, and appeared to have stopped bleeding.  We'll see how he is when I get home. SMDH, my H is genius. Oh and his main concern?  It's his "movement finger" for playing video games.
    Rave - I have coffee, leftover spaghetti for lunch, it's almost Friday, and my boss is back from Chicago today so I might actually get caught up once I receive some much needed help from her.

    CS/Q: Do you temp when you're on the rag? I started temping and did it orally cause well that seemed unnecessarily gross to do it vaginally. Although I had planned to temp vaginally cause I sleep with my mouth open sometimes plus saw lots of info that it was more reliable.  Can I switch to the V since it's only been a few days now that AF left?  Am I stuck this cycle? TMI?

    GTKY: If you could live the life of any fictional character (or historical figure), who would you chose and why? Hmm... that's a good question.  I don't know.  When I was a kid I would've said Mulan.  Cause I thought she was the coolest! Now I dunno.  I do sometimes think I was born in the wrong century, I would've loved living in the 1920's or even 1870's (Laura Ingalls Wilder is my jam!). Or could you imagine being a Viking warrior (or wife to a viking warrior?)  Lol... I dunno, pretty much any century 1950s or before would've been so interesting.

    CD: 4

    WAYDTGKU: BBT, CM, OPKs, PNV, B6, bought CoQ10 and Vitamin D to start including as well, HIO when AF leaves

    R/R: same old, same old. I have a lot of work to try and get done by tomorrow so I probably won't be able to get back on for a few hours.

    CS/Q: nope

    GTKY: This is a tough question and I think I'm not awake enough to answer yet. (I haven't had any coffee).

    @fishsticks-n-custard At least you were productive with your 30 extra min! Enjoy your coffee :)

    WAYDTGKU: Femara and a trigger shot, with metformin and thyroid medicine, as well as temping and checking CM.

    R/R: I fell asleep while taking my temperature this morning, and didn't wake up until 40 minutes later. It hurt my tongue, ha ha! The temp I then took was high. So either yesterday was O day, or the temperature is off thanks to the accidental snoozing. Either way, it took 4 days after the trigger shot last cycle for my temp to rise, and it's been 3 days. So I'm expecting it tomorrow at the latest.

    CS/Q: Nothing to talk about.

    GTKY: That's a tough one. A lot of fictional characters and historical figures had their own share of struggles and tragedies, I'm not sure I'd want that. I'd say probably Laura Petrie from the Dick Van Dyke show. I could have rocked being a stay-at-home mom lifestyle like that. I love running a household and caring for my husband, and dressing up! WAYDTGKU: bbt, opk, preseed, EOD sex

    R/R: TMI but I think I'm constipated. This is pretty chronic for me and happens every couple months.

    CS/Q: I finally got a positive opk last night at 11 pm after a day of almost positive. Would you count that as yesterday or today since it was so late in the day?

    @RVAmom315: Hope you feel better!
    @lurvleybunchococonuts: Left over spaghetti is always better than fresh. I know you aren't supposed to switch temp methods but I also don't think temps during AF matter that much. So... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
    @charlestonchew: Woohoo for a positive!! I'd probably count it as today. I checked FF and couldn't find anything about it but it does say to count a period that came late in the night as the next day. Maybe follow those guidelines? Again....
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

After a crazy few weeks work wise, I'm really looking forward to spending time with DS and DH. We're having a big old pool party and BBQ on Saturday and the weather looks beautiful!

    @justkeepswimming8 GL in the TWW!

    @lurvleybunchococonuts Aww, poor DH.  My DH almost chopped off the tip of his pinkie while cutting vegetables on Easter.  I wouldn't let him go to urgent care on Easter and just wrapped it in gauze. Luckily it was fine when he went to the doctor the next day.  But I totally understand injuring the video game finger.  I recently sprained my left thumb in my sleep (??) and couldn't play Zelda for a few days and it was so sad.

    I've been thinking about this all day since I saw it this morning -- and I'm an historian so I've probably actually been over thinking it -- but as much as I love the middle ages and it would have been pretty badass to be Eleanor of Aquitaine, or Amalasuentha, or the empress Irene, I just don't want to live in a time where dysentery was the number one cause of death, so I'm going to have to go the fictional characters route: Professor McGonagall all the way.

  • lurvleybunchococonuts  I mean, he's survived so far, so maybe its for the best.... I am just a huge worrier. I always assume everything will go wrong! :)

  • @becausescience it was also today but barely positive, not blaringly like last night. I also usually have two days of positive. I think I'm going to count it as yesterday because O pain started last night and luckily I'm temping to confirm so that should help too. TTC is confusing!
