Any new symptoms or changes? Feeling more and more BH, and more pressure on my pelvic bone. Which makes me realize how important it is that she doesn't just shove into that and actually moves into the birth canal lol.

GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? The usual... We eat the same things every day. For me, dinner is tons of veggies with tomato sauce, some whole wheat pasta and chicken, and melted cheese on top

Giant. Bowling ball size in my pelvis and poking stick size up in my ribs.

Midwife on Wednesday. More importantly, a floating spa and massage on Tuesday (gift certificates from a wonderful wonderful friend!).
Any new symptoms or changes?
Baby's feet have found my ribs. And so much lightning crotch. I never had that with DS.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
My maternity leave has started! Friday was my last day of work, and tomorrow DS goes back to daycare. I am SO pumped for (hopefully) two weeks of Me time.

DH made duck. It's his favorite and he always forgets I don't like it. So I pretend and he's grateful for that. I make him cut it up for me, like a small child, so I don't have to imagine the animal it came from. We aren't as dysfunctional as this sounds, I swear lol

Rants/Raves/Questions? All of our nursery furniture is finally set up! The assembly guys came yesterday and then my sisters (and nieces and nephew) came over and helped us finish putting things away. I love peeking in her room now! After H and I failed at putting the dresser together, all the pieces were strewn all over her room plus other stuff that ended up getting stored there. Now it's just full of her stuff and everything has been washed and put away. I feel so relieved and ready for her now!
GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? Not sure, we are going to go out because I didn't feel up to grocery shopping today. After seeing my siggy, a bucket of fried chicken sounds pretty awesome though!

35 weeks - as of today, exactly one more month till my scheduled cs! Although I have to say, I'm seeing all of these 37/38 weekers and it feels so far ahead of where I am. way back when (like, 5 months ago, 2-3 weeks difference sounded like nothing to me.

This has been going on for a while, but the bladder pressure is driving me crazy - the baby will move and I'll feel my bladder being prodded and immediately be like "I gotta go" and then not much relief.
my hands and feet are definitely starting to swell, too
Overall, still can't complain. I'm having a pretty good pregnancy, that's for sure.

I have exactly two weeks left at work before I go on leave - I'm so ready. It's been a stressful and long year and a half of constant change and transition at work - I'm ready to shift my attention to my little family and meet this new kid and see how she fits in.
Rant: heat wave in CA. We usually have june gloom but that lasted 3 days tops - ugh

Gazpacho and black bean, jicama, chicken salad. Something cool, and trying to make sure to start eating lots of fiber in this last month

How big is baby? had an appointment today, she's 6 pounds, 5 ounces. she's down 8 ounces from birth
Upcoming appointments this week? she has a follow up appointment Tuesday evening to recheck her bilirubin levels and weight.
Any new symptoms or changes? super happy she's off the billi blanket and no longer considered jaundice!

Rants/Raves/Questions? We flew to the east coast today for a wedding this weekend and DD had a rough flight, oy. She also puked last night and we almost ran out of gas on the way to the airport at 4am, whew.

Any new symptoms or changes? I think I've crossed the line to being more uncomfortable than not this past week. Definitely less jabs and more wiggles from her now. Except those kicks to the ribs. Those are no fun.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I stupidly spent way too much time in the pool today playing with my nephew and didn't reapply my sunscreen. Not a bad burn, just a bit pink, but still. I've got about 24 hours until DH gets back in town so I'm slathering on the aloe to try to tone this down a bit.

Sudden bouts of extreme itchiness, exhausted after taking a shower... something about showers and feeling ridiculously tired.

Raves: I managed to escape my MIL very toxic, semi defrosted food today! This will be the last time il be visiting her during my pregnancy so I feel accomplished for dodging all those bullets:p last meal I had was in my 4th month lol.
Rants: so ...you tell me after 8 months that it doesn't matter if you don't see stretch marks right now, because they show up later after delivery anyway and aren't visible right now?!!! You tell me this NOW?!

I just feel done. So, so, done. I guess a recent change is the comments I'm getting from strangers. Definitely feeling more like a spectacle every day.

We rearranged our basement suite and have our baby changing station all set up! We got a nice new rug for our living room, and our dumb dog promptly took a tinkle on it
I know that it's a symptom of anxiety with all the changes going on because she almost never has accidents in the house. We bought her a 'thundershirt' to try and manage her anxiety, I'm hoping it will help make the transition of living with baby easier for her.

I ate a cheeseburger that tasted like a leather boot. It was so overcooked and nasty...I think I'll have to go out tomorrow to get a cheeseburger that doesn't suck.

Upcoming appointments this week? Have a checkup this week. Need to talk to my OB about the fact that I have to switch doctors at the end of the month because he's switching practices
Any new symptoms or changes? Sharp pain in my lower back has returned with a vengeance. I get tired and winded very suddenly and seemingly without warning.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I love seeing everyone's outside babies. But it made me realize that we are so not ready for this baby to get here. I finally got my act together and packed a hospital bag tonight.

Tuesday, finally get to a meet another dr within the group (not intentionally, was the most convenient appointment). Also, unexpected plus, since my bi-monthly appointments started, I've gotten a quick ultrasound every appointment to check fluid and position.
Any new symptoms or changes?
Random sharp shooting pains in my cervix (I think) when I'm walking. Usually only happens for a few minutes toward the end of the day, I assume the baby is hitting it? Definitely asking as my next appointment.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
My MIL will be taking care of our baby until 2 once he's born which I'm super grateful for but I feel like every time it comes up, her level of commitment changes. She first said everyday, at our place until 2 then she's dropping him off at my parents. Then it went to a few days a week until 12 at her place, we got her to switch back when we said we'd pay her. Last time we spoke she said well she's not going to drive him to my parents, at least not everyday. She would be dropping him off on her way to another babysitting gig, we even got an extra car seat for her. If my dad was picking up, we would have to get another car seat and he would have to miss out on an extra hour of work. I told my husband he has to deal with this new issue because I'm not going to be able to stay level headed.

I'm going with yesterday since this was supposed to be Sunday...We did brunch at my parents, we had bagels and a bunch of different salads and I made chocolate lace cookies. We then drove to my IL's for BBQ and I had half a burger since I was still full from brunch. Although I woke up starving for not having a proper dinner.
@manillabar That's so exciting! We just moved our dining room table to my parent's garage to make room for a crib, I'm excited to deep clean that rug and get ready to finally set up.
@BusyZee I get tired after showers too because they dehydrate me. Drink some extra water before and after, might help.
@BabyMama4Life oh yeah that can be really bad, I just have an itchy belly ...thank God!:) but il ask just in case!

How big is baby? 6 lbs, 2 oz. We're small on the growth scale, but since he's still growing, everyone is happy.
Upcoming appointments this week? Wednesday is 39 week appointment (2 days early for doctor's vacation). At last week's appointment, doctor said we wouldn't induce until July 11-14 due to the growth issues, so the fact that I'm a week and a half out of my due date doesn't seem so real. I sure hope she's right.
Any new symptoms or changes? Nope. I've basically felt the same for the last six weeks.
