R/R: Rave - Happy Monday! I have coffee and decided to go into work at 6 instead of 5, so I'm well rested after a nice relaxing weekend. Rant - DH & I don't have AC, and it's flipping HOT outside

GTKY: We've all had stupid moments where we speak before thinking (at least I do). What's one of the silliest things you've adamantly declared without fully processing? I once argued with DH that there was no "A" in the name McDonalds because it's "McDonalds, not MacDonalds". And then later that day proceeded to tell him how I often forget that we live relatively close to the "Wisconsin-Chicago" border. Yep, I was on a roll that day!

R/R: Interview tomorrow for a job that I'm "meh" about but it's SO close to home and is paying more than I make now. So trying to focus on that positive.

GTKY: Lol I'm sure I've said lots of dumb things. When I was a kid, my mom told me to stay away from dragonflies because they will burrow into your skin and sew (yes she said "sew") themselves into you. So I obviously believed her and had no reason to ever research dragonflies. That was a fun thing to find out I was wrong about when I was like 25.

R/R: I had a blood draw this morning to check my progesterone level. Still waiting on the results. Also I hate mobile bumping! My browser is being an a-hole and keeps bringing me to add sites every time I access the bump page. And the app doesn't show me new posts so I have to scroll through the whole thing every time. Any have suggestions?

I am blonde in the truest stereotype of being blonde. I once asked my sister is she could see in 3D because she had a lazy eye and could never focus with both eyes. In my defense I was pretty young and we had just learned in school that having two eyes is what gives us depth perception....

R/R: Temp went down a bit today which it always does at this time in my cycle so I fully expect it to go down more tomorrow. Of course I was browsing pregnancy charts in FF this morning though, praying for a miracle lol Rave for today is that my DH will be home from his golf trip! He also shouldn't be traveling again for awhile so it's torally going down this next cycle.

Omg I was just thinking about this the other day... when I was in college I worked in retail at the mall and I was helping this girl who sadly had the biggest nose I have ever seen. I was so distracted by it and as soon as she left I blurted out in front of my manager and other co-workers "wow that girl had a huge nose". My manager gave me a stren talking to in front of everyone saying that it was inappropriate and I totally agree that I should have never said that but it just came out!! I was super embarrassed and still am when I think about it.

@lurvleybunchococonuts When my DH and I first moved in together we didn't even think to ask if the place had AC because we both were so used to it being in every place we had ever rented... well it didn't and we died that summer. It honestly kind of killed our sex life because we went 3 months without touching each other.

@MrsMiller8588 haha speaking of 3D, I used to work at a Sunglass shop and we had a pair of Oakley sunglasses that you could switch out different colored lenses. On the display we had 2 different lenses in our show the selection. Whenever people would joke about "do I have to wear them like this?!" I'd jokingly reply "theyre 3d glasses! When you put them on everything is in 3D!" I once had a tween get into an argument with me about "no they're not!" I just looked at him and said "go ask your mom."

@MrsMiller8588 Are you logged in when you are on the app? I notice that if the app logs me out I can still see all the threads but it won't show me new posts. When I am logged in it tells me if there is a new post in the thread and takes me straight to the newst post I haven't read.

While ranting to dear hubby about something I kept referring to the dogs snout as a nozzle. He kept laughing and I couldn't figure out why because I thought it was totally the right word- it wasn't

For the last week it would say I was logged in but if I tried to comment it would make me log in and then wouldn't work. So I don't think it was ever recognizing that I was logged on. It appears to be working now! Haha thanks for the help

@JennyColada Lol, that's funny about dragonflies. My mom put an irrational fear of them in my head too! She told me if they bit me I'd get sick. I should ask her about it next time I talk to her. GL on the interview!
@MrsMiller8588 Hope you get good test results! My SD wears glasses to correct a lazy eye, it's really bad when she's tired. She gets it from DH who has an eye that wanders he's tired. Once asked him why he was staring in the corner while we watched a movie... "uh, lazy eye ya jerk!" Oops!
@JJMNO1616 Yay, glad YH will be home. We're looking into a window unit for the really hot days. Last summer we didn't need it but, last night I told H I'm cuddling with you in my mind but if you touch me I'm punching you.

@olive_lane I keep looking at the 10 DPO temp shift for pregnancy charts on FF and so many of them go down like my temp did today. I was hoping they all went up so I could finally put the BSC to rest. I know in my heart I'm out this cycle but I just can't seem to fully convince myself AF is coming.

@lurvleybunchococonuts MH has not let me live it down and this was like 4 years ago. At this point we just refer to them as nozzles because it always gets a laugh. Also, dying at your story about husband staring into corner. Oops!

@JJMNO1616 I adore you because you are me! Good thing Wondfos are cheap because I keep testing thinking something is going to change. At this point I'd just like AF to start so we can try again- I gotta get me that @JennyColada timing

R/R: hello! I was active a few months ago but took a break as all the temping and obsessing over my cycles made me a little BSC. Hope it's ok I jump back in again.

Didn't temp this month, but if my cycle followed the same pattern as most previous months, I should be 3 dpo today.

@olive_lane I feel the same way... this next cycle will be our first opportunity to get really good timing because my husband will for sure be in town. I have myself convinced that all we need to do is get -1 timing and that will do the trick

I also got OPKs for next cycle so I'm just feeling really hopeful we can make it happen! I apologize in advanced to everyone who is in my next TWW because I know I will be a basket case.

Timing: O... not the best but we'll see. So new at this so i'm not even 100% sure i O on that day. DH was out of town the week before so that made it difficult

Testing: Might test on 6/18... Father's Day. But that will only be 8 DPO, so might try and hold out.

R/R: My bro in law just moved in with us a few weeks ago... temporarily. But makes it awkward when we're trying to BD and he's ALWAYS HOME, usually sitting in the living room. Haha

This was years and years ago, but i asked my dad if ducks flew. I knew they could fly, i was trying to ask about how far they can fly. But it came out as if i had no idea that they could. My family still makes fun of me to this day!

@ag1398 welcome! That must be super stressful having your BIL there. Personal opinion but I would continue to BD as often/loudly as you want. It's your home and he's the one in your space. Maybe just don't DTD in the living room

@ag1398 I was toying around with the idea of testing on father's day (12DPO for me). It seems like it would be a cute "father's day gift" for DH (and if it's BFN then I can console myself with it just being too early).

i love porn! When I was 25 and talking to a friend at a party, I accidentally blurted it out because I'd had a few drinks and we had been talking about watching it. (Not the really nasty stuff, but the stuff more geared to couples) And everyone stopped and looked at me like I had seven heads and three noses.

This one is all around just weird, but it was the first thing to pop into my head. This goes back quite a few years, back when that show Man vs Wild (or at least I think that is what it was called) had just recently come out. Thanks to that show, a bunch of us got into a very random convo about drinking your own urine for survival. I ended up making a comment about how I wondered if it would be salty "you know, like other bodily fluids". When I was first thinking this, I was considering things like sweat and tears. However, as soon as the words came out of my mouth and I saw everyone else's eyes light up, I realized how big of a mistake I had just made.

I have been for the last 2.5 years after not being able to use hormonal birth control due to migraines. I just got my temp spike today and I had been convinced I wasn't going to O at all this cycle.

@jennycolada I have an irrational fear of moths when they are inside the house. Outside I can tolerate them unless they flutter at me, but if one is inside the house I cry and panic and lose sleep unless I know it's gone. But dragon flies, especially the big ones, give me the heebie jeebies too.
