Re: 1st Trimester Check-in Week Jun12th
1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? 7 weeks, 4 days. EDD is 1/25/18, but at my next appointment I'm guessing that my OB will give me an adjusted due date since there's 2 of them now!
2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? Alllll the nausea and morning sickness. And the sore boobs have arrived. and yay hormones!
3. When is your next appointment? I have a phone appt tomorrow with my OB's nurse and then a real appointment on Friday 6/30. Don't want to wait that long!
4. Anything else you'd like to share? Any advice on how to calm down a freaking-out husband? DH is now all "our condo is feeling too small. my car is too small. we need to move the dining table to the basement to make room for all the gear and toys that we will need for TWO! etc etc etc..."
QOTW:
1. what is the thing your most looking forward to during this pregnancy? at the moment? honestly, for the nausea to subside and for my appetite to come back...
as for the nausea, the first trimester is about getting through, eat what you can, worry more about balance once your through the worst of the nausea. That being said small frequent meals will help with the nausea. andplusalso protein. protein, protein plus water, water, water when you can take it is super important for twins.

QOTW:
1. what is the thing your most looking forward to during this pregnancy? I can't wait for the twins to get to feel this baby kick. I think the look will be magical. I really hope they are close to this baby.

2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? First drawn out morning sickness/nausea of the entire pregnancy. I just set up a little nest next to the toilet. Ugh, ladies I bow before those that have suffered this entire first trimester.
3. When is your next appointment? June 30th, my OB must feel like I'm trucking right along. : )
4. Anything else you'd like to share? Waiting on genetic testing to come back. We watched one of the babies completely flip around on our ultrasound on Thursday, so cool.
QOTW:
1. what is the thing your most looking forward to during this pregnancy? Feeling the babies move, and watching my husband's face that first time he will feel them move. We our FTParents. I'm tearing up just thinking about it.
caseyw8784 Sweet! It is twins. I'm so pleased for you.
@wabash15 I'm glad that the B6 is helping some, I'm hoping our symptoms give us a small reprieve soon.
@stella_700 ouch sorry about the bad bout of MS!
1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? I'm 5+4. EDD is 2/8
2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having?
I have minor sore boobs (which is a little worse after my PIO shot i have every 3 days). Otherwise I'm ok!
3. When is your next appointment?
I go back next Monday - hopefully see a heartbeat!
4. Anything else you'd like to share?
I had an ultrasound yesterday and we saw the gestational sac it was such a relief because I had some bleeding on Sunda morning. Thankfully it seems like it was a one time event and no cause was found on ultrasound. They said it could be cervical irritation from the progesterone suppositories
QOTW:
1. what is the thing you're most looking forward to during this pregnancy? I am looking forward to DS meeting his sibling. He is 4 and we have told him there is a baby and he pretty excited about it and wants to meet the baby now. He is thinking of baby names like Bowser and Tiki.

March 2017: IVF#2 - 18 retrieved / 18 mature / 16 fertilized / 5 blasts
May 24, 2017: FET#4 - BFP! - Beta #1 151 - Beta #2 503 - Due date 2/9/18
1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? 7 wks 5 days, 1/25/18
2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? Light nausea, but no throwing up yet. Sore boobs. Emotions on a high, with tears at the drop of a dime.
3. When is your next appointment? Today at 11
4. Anything else you'd like to share? We lost our baby girl at 23 weeks 8 months ago so my emotions, nerves, basically everything in me, is on edge. IVF produced enough fear in me on being hypersensitive to my body, that a loss heighten it to a level I didn't know I was capable of. I'm trying to work on the excitement factor, but its tough.
QOTW:
1. what is the thing your most looking forward to during this pregnancy? Having my husband feel the baby.
@akcrowe sorry for your loss. PGAL brain makes it hard to enjoy the early part of pregnancy. I hope things look good for you today.

1. How far along are you? What is your EDD?
10 weeks! EDD is still 1/8
2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having?
Food aversions (nothing specific. They change daily), bigger boobs, fatigue, moodiness.
3. When is your next appointment?
We are going this week for ultrasound #2 and the Informaseq blood draw!
4. Anything else you'd like to share?
I'm sort of struggling with the fact that there are things I've wanted for 5 1/2 years of IF that I'm not going to get. Like the birth I wanted (because I have to be on lovenox and can't do a birth center delivery) or a cute nursery (because we are building our house and living in an RV while we do it and it likely won't be ready before baby comes) or even be able to be a SAHM right away (because I am the primary breadwinner while DH builds our house and his business). Big picture: safety for baby and I is what counts, and what DH and I are working is hella worth it. But it is still really disappointing that after all this time I'm still being asked to give up all these things I wanted, just like IF took a lot from me.
QOTW:
1. what is the thing your most looking forward to during this pregnancy?
I don't know that there is one single thing that I am really excited about more than anything else. Lol. Announcing is fun, finding out and revealing the gender, feeling movement, DH feeling movement...all of those are really exciting!

@takethelongway I know there are a lot of false positives with the measurements this early. Thinking of you as you get the blood drawn and wait.
@Zoey1019 & @angelaag Looking forward to hearing good news on Friday with your first ultrasounds. Both DH and I cried during our first ultrasound, especially hearing a heartbeat.
1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? 7 weeks + 2 days. EDD: 1/31/18
2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? Nausea with occasional dry heaves, hunger, fatigue, breast soreness that comes and goes.
3. When is your next appointment? I have a week 9 scan at my fertility clinic on the 27th. That same day I have a phone consult with a nurse at my OB/Midwifery clinic.
4. Anything else you'd like to share? Yesterday, hours after a very promising first ultrasound, I started bleeding heavily and passed two large tissue/blood clots. Naturally, I freaked out; I really thought I was miscarrying. Since I wasn't having pain and the bleeding had tapered, my clinic had me wait until this morning for a followup scan.
Today, the scan showed that little sprout is still growing strong--no distress there. But the Dr. did see a small subchorionic hematoma. I was warned that I may experience heavy bleeding or passing tissue again at anytime. Hopefully it resolves soon and doesn't hurt the baby or complicate the pregnancy too much. It's reassuring to know that most women with SCH go on to have healthy pregnancies and babies. The up/down intensity of all this really has me spent though!
My husband and I are on tenterhooks after ttc our first child for the past four years. After 2 rounds of IVF, we do not have the money nor the mental/emotional capacity to pursue a child if this pregnancy doesn't work out. While I'm doing my best to stay positive, it's so very hard not to worry. What do you guys do/tell yourself to ease the worry?
QOTW:
1. what is the thing your most looking forward to during this pregnancy? I can't wait for this SCH to clear up so I can enjoy my pregnancy without that looming over me! My nausea isn't too bad, but it'll be nice to have it finally clear up. I will be elated to see/feel the baby move and to start planning for their arrival.
