Today is Ethan's birthday! I can't believe it. He is taking 6-8 steps by himself now and still wants to put everything in his mouth. Lol. Doctor appointment next week to see how much he has grown since 9 months. His party is Saturday but we have a little cake for him to smash tonight.
Savannah is standing on her own for longer periods now and has taken 1-2 steps probably 3 times. She says hi and waves now and she loves it and thinks it's hilarious! She's definitely starting to throw temper tantrums which is a huge pain in the butt! I can't believe she will be one next week!!!
Damien can pull himself up without a second thought and can take a few steps while holding onto something. He loves to shriek and growl, especially when we do it with him (I'm sure the neighbors love that). He does say "mama" a lot but I'm still not convinced he means me, it just seems like babbling to me. Lately he's been super cuddly, which is great since he hasn't been that way since he was a couple months old, so I'm loving it.
I know it isn't that clear but I love capturing pictures like this on the monitor. Sleepy boy!
Miles turned 1 on Monday! We had pictures on Saturday (2nd photo proof), party Sunday (1st and 3rd photo), and a fun day with Dad and Mom on Monday. He's started standing on his own more and more, and has taken a dozen steps at a time, but usually is moving towards a wall as that's where he's comfortable still. Got a kiddie pool for his birthday and he's loved splashing in that. Picked up the words 'baseball' and 'bubble' because of his party and will yell them now if he sees one or the other. Looking forward to the goofy toddler years

Jackie is 11 1/2 months old. We went camping in the Outer Banks, NC this weekend for our anniversary and went swimming in the pool for the first time. She seems to have had a leap in vocabulary this week and has been doing more complex babbling, pretending to talk on the phone (remote), saying hello, dog, and uh oh. She hasn't taken anymore steps lately but she did enjoy climbing all over the camp chairs and dancing for the neighbors.
