Implantation Bleeding

This very unscientific poll is purely for fun and for curiosity's sake. (I researched this so much when TTC!) Obviously, it's incredibly subjective depending on your opinion of "tiny bit" and "a lot". Did any of you experience implantation bleeding before your BFP?

Re: Implantation Bleeding

  • I did but it was literally once.. One wipe... And that was it. The average person might not have even noticed it but I was looking for it to happen.

  • I had a teeny tiny bit of red blood once at 5dp5dt. One of my IF causes is unexplained bleeding so I was obsessively checking for any sign of blood. I don't think I would have noticed it otherwise because it was so little.

Not to be too TMI, but this is to give hope to those mamas that may be lurking and TTC- I had heavy implantation bleeding that was dark brown with a smidge of red at one point and lasted for three days. I needed a liner but no more. (I did not have implantation bleeding with my other three pregnancies.) I was convinced we had another BFN month and then was delighted to have a BFP the morning after it stopped and no period began (I had a BFP two days before my missed period). I'm 6w2d and going strong so far!
  • I had ever so slight spotting with DD1- like a wipe's worth.

Nothing with DD2, the last pregnancy or this one.

  • I had implantation bleeding with my first. It lasted for 2 days and was hardly anything. I took it as an odd period and moved on. BFP from a doctor at 6 weeks.

    Nothing with this pregnancy.
  • I've never experienced IB during any of my pregnancies.
