Stopping estrogen/progesterone

For you ladies who have done IVF or a FET, when you tapered off your estrogen and progesterone did you notice any changes? I go off the estrogen Wed and reduce my progesterone, then stop the progesterone next Wed. I'm excited to be done (especially with the shots) but also kind of scared for some reason.

    I'm mid-taper. I stopped PIO last week, and I'm taking prometrium capsules vaginally for last week and next week. My estrogen was cut in half for the same two week period. No symptom changes yet.

    I've heard that a little bleeding is a rare but normal thing that can happen with progesterone withdrawal, and headaches seem common with cutting the estrogen.

    So far, I'm just glad to feel my PIO injection sites starting to heal up.
    Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
    Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
    TTC with frozen donor sperm and science

    7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
    2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
    Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
    Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!  
    fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP! 
    Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)

    I'm mid-weaning, too, and it's definitely an anxiety-producing process. You're not alone in that, although it causes problems only in very rare cases. For the progesterone, I'm a big fan of asking for a follow-up blood test, as some women do need continued supplementation. Usually one doesn't have many symptoms of weaning either, although it's hard to tell because weaning happens in a phase where pregnancy symptoms are coming and going. I'm just anxious for my butt to get back to normal, as I had more nerve damage from the shots this round.

    I didn't do IVF, but was put on Prometrium starting a week after ovulation by my RE. She originally told me i could stop at 8 weeks, but i was nervous to do so so they said i could go to 10 weeks but no further. 

    I have my first appointment at my OB tomorrow, and i plan to ask him for a blood work follow up after i stop them (i will be 10 weeks on Saturday), to give me piece of mind.

    Thank you ladies! I may call my Dr and ask about follow up bloodwork after I'm off the progesterone next week.
