1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 9 weeks, size of a cherry!
2. How are you feeling? Meh. Tired and nauseous and I've started getting really bad nose congestion which has lead to terrible pressure headaches.
3. Any appointments this week? Nada.
4. Rants/raves/questions? Nope.
5. GTKY: What would your perfect nursery look like? We have several nursery themes we're thinking about and it's so hard to pick because they all have such potential. Ideas right now: Harry Potter, flamingo/tropical, and monsters (we have these adorable monster posters that we could design the rest of the room off of).
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 7 weeks, size of a blueberry! US showed baby is measuring ~4 days ahead but doctor didn't feel need to change due date, so I'll stick with you Friday gals
2. How are you feeling? Tired and nauseous, starting to get some mild reflux
3. Any appointments this week? First appt was Tuesday d/t some spotting and everything turned out great. Thanks to all those ladies that were thinking of me!
4. Rants/raves/questions? Working this weekend and it's supposed to be beautiful and warm which is a bummer
5. GTKY: What would your perfect nursery look like? Lately I've been thinking about an adventrur/travel theme. Not for sure on paint colors yet, maybe grays/yellows or mint?
@gusgus14 love the creative nursery ideas! Someone posted a monster themed nursery idea and it was adorable
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 9, a pecan
2. How are you feeling? Eh. The exhaustion isn't so bad, and the nausea is starting to subside.
3. Any appointments this week? Nothing this week, but FINALLY next week Tuesday!
4. Rants/raves/questions? I broke my no sex before seeing baby/heartbeat "rule" last night and I'm soooo glad I did. Except pregnancy insomnia hit full force and I was up really late (early?) and DD didn't sleep well so today I'm a little tired. This coffee aversion sucks. I can still drink it cold, so there's some cold press in the fridge for this afternoon that I'm really looking forward to.
5. GTKY: What would your perfect nursery look like? I love DD's nursery. We did a gold, mint green, navy and pink theme, with dark cherry wood crib, glider and changing table/dresser combo. I do wish it was a little bit bigger though. We're in a 2 bedroom apartment that's pretty small. I won't think about this baby's nursery until we know the sex.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 10 weeks -25% cooked! Babysizer says Ferrero Rocher chocolate.
2. How are you feeling? Always exhausted. Nausea comes and goes.
3. Any appointments this week? I have an intralipids appt on Tuesday and I'm hoping to ask for a scan to check on SCH.
4. Rants/raves/questions? Not this week
5. GTKY: DD's nursery is gender-neutral and we love it. Light yellow walls with a woodland theme. My talented MIL helped us paint a tree that spans three walls. I made a bird mobile (like this) and curtains hung on an interesting branch. Bird feeder nightlight. The whole thing turned out really well, and we're especially proud of it because we started from the rafters. Unfortunately I don't have good pics handy. Next kid will be in it, but we have to get DD's next bedroom ready.
***TW*** DD born April 2015 after many rounds of IVF and losses.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 9 weeks, tater tot
2. How are you feeling? Better? Nausea is somewhat subsided, not quite as tired. But either the bloat is worse or I'm starting to show. Had to break out the maternity clothes the other day.
3. Any appointments this week? Yes, on 6/15. Another ultrasound!
4. Rants/raves/questions? I completely lost control of my emotions at my sons last day of school yesterday, damn hormones. Where did the year go?! I'm so sad it's over already. When we were snuggling after dinner he got a tear in his eye and told me he was going to miss his teachers. It completely broke my heart.
5. GTKY: What would your perfect nursery look like? That entirely depends on gender. My favorite colors right now are aqua and grey, and for a girl I'd add some pink. I do know that it would have a giant, plush, super comfy recliner/rocker because I spend half my time in our not comfortable one during feedings.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 10 weeks so the size of a Strawberry!
2. How are you feeling? This week has been a lot better. Not quite as nauseous. 3. Any appointments this week?
I had two - my first appointment and an ultra sound. Getting to see my LO dancing around and it's heartbeat was the coolest thing ever.
4. Rants/raves/questions? Not this week.
5. GTKY: What would your perfect nursery look like? I want to keep it gender neutral so we can use it for multiple children. As for colors, I like yellow, aqua, mint, white and gray, so I may do a combination of a few of them. I also really want to do a theme - like animals or the alphabet. I'm pretty excited to really start thinking about it over the next few weeks!
Not as sick as I had been. I do get very nauseous when I smell something foul.
3. Any appointments this week?
I had my second US on Monday. Baby's doing great!
4. Rants/raves/questions?
It's so tough being pregnant with a toddler. I'm so much more exhausted than I could have ever imagined.
5. GTKY: What would your perfect nursery look like?
If I have another boy I'll stick them in a room together and continue with the sports theme that I'm already using in DS' room. He will be 2.5 when this LO arrives.
If I have a girl I want to do a butterfly theme. Butterflies remind me of my mom, who passed away a few years ago. She loved butterflies and everytime I see one I think of her.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 7 weeks / blueberry!
2. How are you feeling? not too bad. still pretty tired most of the time, super sore boobs (ANY sleep position is uncomfortable with these things), but nausea has been minimal and comes and goes in small waves (my mom said she never had really bad MS/nausea til the very end of the third trimester). sleeping pretty terribly, though, which has been really annoying.
3. Any appointments this week? first one on wednesday 6/14! so nervous/excited!
4. Rants/raves/questions? more of an observation: it's so weird to be pregnant but not telling anyone about it, especially when my SIL (who is also my coworker) is 22 weeks and she's talking all about it. also my mom totally found out the other day because she came over to my house before we got home from work and saw my crackers in the bathroom haha. i even hid my prenatal vitamins and pregnancy journal! but so far she's the only one who knows. we've got a plan for telling my family, but DH's family is tougher - half of them are on a mission trip and the other half will be out of town for fathers day weekend and then we're busy the weekend after and the one after that we all leave together on a family vacation! so, super busy and not sure the best time to tell them, especially since they'd probably be upset if we didn't tell them all at the same time.
5. GTKY: What would your perfect nursery look like? hmmm, simple and neutral and organized! probably either lots of gray + black&white, or woodland themed with earth tones. haven't really thought about the actual nursery yet at all - so we'll see what direction we go in (and what hand-me-downs we receive
