New Member - IVF day 7 (loss mentioned)

Hi Everyone, 

Quick intro - 34 years old, did 4 rounds of monitored clomid cycles after 1 year of trying naturally. Had an ectopic with left tube removal, miscarriage at 8 weeks, chemical pregnancy, and then a canceled cycle due to right sided O.
I've been lurking every board imaginable for the past year googling to find out what my numbers meant and hoping to find positive answers. But now that IVF has started, I have so many questions about all the different parts of this process, so I figured I'd introduce myself and be an actual active member on here. 
I'm currently doing Menopur and Gonal F injections and just started the cetrotide yesterday, which has not been enjoyable, but at least I'm hopefully on my way to finally getting a sticky baby :smile:

    KZ1126 sorry you find yourself here and for your losses!  IF is never an easy road.  You should join the June IVF board as others are in the same boat as you.  I feel like a veteran as this is my 7th cycle of IVF and I think we're doing the same protocol however i'm sure my dosage is higher ;)  and no none of the injections are fun.  Menupar seems to burn and other me the most.  How has your cycle been going so far?  Are you responding?  My cycle isn't going as well this round so not sure what i'm doing yet...

    Unexplained Infertility - but I am 40...Low AMH .30
    7 - IUI (50mg-150mg Clomid) Feb - August 2016 all BFN 
    IVF#1 August 2016 (Antagonist protocol 4/5 eggs) Cancelled cycle :( RE thought I would get at least 10.
    IVF#2 Sept 2016 (microdose luporn pro - disappearing follies, ONLY ONE, convert to IUI) BFN
    IVF#3 November 2016 (4 ER, 3 F,  3DT)-BFP  with TWINS // MC both at almost 10wks  :'( 
    IVF#4 March 2017 //EPP  (10 ER (1 wonky so 9 ER) 7F, 3B (5AB, (2)5BB) PGS tested- ALL abnormal  :'( 
    IVF#5 April 2017 // EPP (7 ER, 7F yes! 6B) 2/5 day 4/6 day - 2 PGS normal! yes!! :)
    IVF#6 May 2017 // Antagonist didn't have time for Estrogen Priming...(4 ER, 3 F, 3B) (5AB, (2) 5BB) 2 PGS normal, yes!! :)
    IVF#7 June 2017 // EPP praying this is it and then on to an FET!

    @hopeful_mom  I will definitely join that board.  7 cycles - you are a pro!   I didn't really do as much research as I probably should have prior to starting, so I haven't known what questions to ask and I've been a little in the dark I guess so far.  I did learn to ask for my estrogen levels, so I'm trying to learn what's going on with each stage.  My nurse said my follicles look good and my levels are on track, and they've been upping my dosages after each ultrasound.  
    I hope your cycle gets better!

    KZ1126  I wish I didn't have to be such a pro ;)  You know sometimes its better not to know EVERYTHING so you're not stressing as much and you're just following directions and moving right a long.  (TW) After my MC and I started another cycle I could feel my heart racing and being so nervous and anxious before and after every US....and I'd like to think I'm a more relaxed person BUT not anymore!  Sounds like you'e on the right track so thats great!  I have low amh and after 6 cycles I kind of know I'm not going to produce a whole bunch of eggs and its quality over quantity!  I like to know how many follies they see what size etc.  Thats just me i'm sure my nurses r thrilled to not have every patient like me ;)

    I'm also on IVF stims day 7. The Ganirelix shot was added in yesterday. That one was horrible. Dull needle... The whole process really makes me in awe about what all of us ladies go through. My follies are growing between 11-13 in size. Hoping that by tomorrow they will have grown a ton more. The strangest part to me is feeling then grow and having your lower abdomen feel tight. Good luck ladies! 
    TTC 4 years. 7 failed IUI's with either Clomid, Femara and/or Trigger Shots. Started IVF journey in February 2017. Polyps removed in May. 1st IVF Transfer September 26th. BFP. Expected due date 6/14/18. Baby boy born 5/25/18 at 6 lb 9 oz. My bundle of joy.

    Eelcome and GL!  I am hoping to start ivf soon too, so sorry I can't be much help yet tho ... ;)
