So I was supposed to give myself shot last night between 6-10pm. Efffing forgot and woke up around 230 am and did shot for IUI. I'll be pissed if I effed this up!

@hdaley - don't you worry, I'm heading your way in just a few days (supposed to O tomorrow)

Just came back from lining check. Measurements vary from 5-7.5mm which is a substantial improvement. (I've been taking a bunch of non-Rx supplements to see if they will help thicken my lining, and it looks like they may have helped!) Feeling a glimmer of hope, but trying not to get my hopes up because of my history.

Hi everyone- I've been a little distant lately. Work is busy and I'm just still a little overwhelmed with trying. I'm CD14 today and using an ovulation test kit for the first time- no smiley face yet- it's making me anxious. We're BDing EOD even while testing just in case. For some reason I'm just nervous it won't work or will be wrong.

There are also a lot of very pregnant women around me right now. Two babies are due within the next few weeks- I'm very excited for my friends but it is still very hard.

I hope you are all doing ok!

I'm in my fertile window.... cd17. First cycle using ovulation prediction and I got my smiley face Monday night on cd15. Until then we BDed EOD and after the happy face 1 time and twice yesterday. This morning just wasn't ganna happen so, One more time tonight.... DH says "gotta keep you saturated"

so far I have tried temping, opks, green tea before ovulation, pineapple after ovulation, B6, and progessence plus from young living. My LP is hanging out at around 10 days. is that long enough?

@hdaley I've heard at least a 10 day LP is needed. Maybe yours is not long enough? Idk best to ask your OB on their thoughts. My LP lengthened after my loss and I've still been unsuccessful. How long total have you been TTC? Maybe testing would answer questions. I've had them all done and it's all good. Sorry I'm no help but I would say stop trying so hard. I know I know but it can be a real mental f@ck. I'm over it all.

Hi @hdaley - I know it can be frustrating

I'm currently doing nothing but having sex to get pregnant. I'm taking PNVs and I eat healthy but that.is.it! I'm 26 so AMA and if/when we hit 6 months trying I may look into seeing my doctor BUT only to see if the multiple MCs and surgeries caused scaring that is preventing implantation.

I have 2 kids and have been pregnant 4 total times and I can only tell you my experience. It really can vary. Took me 10 months to get pregnant the first time, then 2, then 1, then 4....

I have not done any testing. We got pregnant with my son the first try. I never had a period off of birth control with him. Miscarriage as well first try. I stopped Birth control 3-4 months before trying. I am 34, so technically not AMA.

If nothing by September I'll make an appointment. We are entering month 5 cycle 5 trying to conceive after loss. Since pregnancy came so easy the first two times it makes me wonder if something got jacked up. I did not get a D&C though. Natural MC with a dose of cytotec to finish it.

@hdaley with my first three pregnancies I used pre seed, OPKs and EOD from day 10-20. My first pregnancy took 3 months and was a healthy son I was 39 when I got pregnant and 40 when I delivered. We started trying when cycle returned my son was 4 months old. After 4 months of TTC I stopped nursing cycle regulated and I was pregnant in two months that resulted in MC at 10 weeks. Then it took 7 months with that loss ending at 8 weeks but only measured at 5 weeks. I'm now 42 and as soon as cycle returned from last MC we started IUI. I'm on the 2nd round. There's no rhyme or reason as to why it only takes a couple months then seems to take forever. I've had 2 d & c and so far my body seems to have bounced back. My lining is good. It's just a process a crazy stressful process. All I can say is do what works for you. FX stay positive!

@hdaley make sure you have documentation of trying. Otherwise they try to blow you off by calling it not preventing/ not actively trying.
By the time I got to my third ob I had a binder full of evidence and they sent me for hsg and labs...make sure they test egg reserve too.
I started this journey when I was 30..im 35 in September. It did take awhile and 3 obs to listen to me.

@hdaley After my first MC it took me like 7 cycle to get KU again. I basically cried my eyes out and lost my crap because I realized I wouldn't be PG before my due date... and then got PG that next cycle.
TMI but I think I was a bit too 'dry' down there, even though I'd have CM and whatnot. This was NEVER a problem in my life before. I think after the second MC we got some pre-seed and it has done wonders.

@Chawk17 I think it depends on who you go to? My OB was very dismissive with ALL my MCs. Like, "This happens... no big deal... try again." However, my first RE basically told me that trying/not trying made no difference and they wanted to know the total length of time we'd been BD without protection. Period.

@hdaley I don't know abt testing for quality. If someone does, I sure would be interest. With my re, he ordered Day 3 testing. He looked at amh, it is an indication of how many eggs you have. He also looked at a lot of other things to make sure at least chemistrally everything was good.

Besides for sex, I do prenatals, we did pressed, bbt, opk. I've done pineapple core, Brazil nuts and keeping myself warm. Now I'm doing ivf

We did the AMH testing to show reserve and I was borderline low. In fact dr said because egg reserve was so low if we couldn't get pregnant on clomid within 6 ovulatory cycles then we probably wouldn't without ivf. So we went on Clomid to produce more eggs in hopes to get quality eggs. We got pregnant 3rd cycle so Dr extended for another 6 ovulatory cycles. Whew.

I also have low reserve as I'm 42. I've been pregnant 3 times in 2 years. As far as quality, I'm not sure how they test that. I'm doing IUI in an attempt to produce more eggs each month in hopes that one is a good one

yeah it's been a week lol @hdaley - if I were you I would have month 1 being the month you started TTC with your loss. That's what I did. I also feel unless you are on the brink of 40 give it a full year. AMA and all that labeling is a bunch of BS IMO. Sometimes it can just take awhile. It took 1 month with DD and 6 months with our loss. My OB didn't give me any hassle with fertility testing at 6 months. I was expecting something to be wrong with me but everything was fine and even DH's sperm are great.

We decided to go on a vacation next month as a family and also decided to get a puppy once DD goes back to school. I want to surprise her with it. DH thinks that once we get a puppy then I will get pregnant lol. I told him why even think like that - nothing else has worked ha! Let's just get one.

also @hdaley - ask your OB about the 10 day LP as maybe if it's not long enough according to her then you may have a leutal phase defect but I don't know what can help with that. Was your LP longer before your loss? I've been told Prog doesn't help you get pregnant so don't F with that.

@amberruka - OMG it's very real over here in my mind - I don't give AF at all. DH told me last weekend that I sure have cried a lot this year and the year is half over. Well I'm changing that as of now you know - making other plans that make me happy and enjoy this life that I do have. Then go figure neighbor next door messages me on FB "do you have a pregnancy test" WTF. I don't and I told her I'm not doing that stuff any more but an OPK can pick it up and so can dollar tests. Don't ask me for a fucking pregnancy test!! I was doing fine until then. Instantly I start replaying things in my mind to be greatful for - my family, yoga, music, health etc and that helps. But damn she has a 6 month old and if she ends up pregnant by accident I'll be so pissed for no reason! I'm way healthier than her not to sound arrogant but I sure as hell am! whew that felt good to get out

@vlagrl29. This is actually the first time I have noticed my LP is 10-11 days. Since I got pregnant so quickly the last two times I never tracked. This is the first time I'm actually temping too. So I have no clue what it was before just what it is now.

I've been away because DH said that we should wait to TTC till late July/August for timing. I was thinking you can't try and play God with these things.

In FW now. Miscounted months and convinced him to BD with pretty good timing from just CD perspective (no opk's this cycle).

I feel excited and also bad about potentially ruining the timing. Ack!

Hey ladies I'm new here, currently WTO post EP. My levels are almost undetectable (12 on Sat) but I've still got right sided pain, could be the MTX or I could be ovulating. Who knows!
