Breakfast - cream of wheat with a decaf coffee and OJ. Lunch - spinach salad. Snacks are grapes and cherries. Although I think later tonight, ice cream may be on the menu. hehe.
Started the day with the best of intentions--avocado toast and sauteed spinach.
DS came to work with me this morning (terrible idea, by the way), so we shared some goldfish. And then I ate DS's leftover goldfish.
Then I went home for lunch and my husband "just happened" to have an extra box of chicken nuggets, which of course was much more convenient than the salad I had planned to make. I had a sweet potato on the side to try and balance it a little bit.
I don't have a Steak 'n Shake near me but I am traveling tonight and will be passing by one - I am totally getting one. I can't wait. I love their shakes.
I'm still eating mostly normal since I still feel good but yesterday I stocked up on green smoothie recipes. I really want to try to stay healthier this go around.
I don't remember having cravings this early with my other two and maybe it's not pregnancy related, but I want all the Mexican food... tacos, nachos, burritos, taquitos, enchiladas, and a big margarita but I'm trying to behave (obvi no alcohol)I have been eating pretty normal but nausea has been creeping in a little more and more each day which will ultimately reduce my diet to crackers
Mini wheats for breakfast, subway for lunch and chicken shawarma quinoa bowls for dinner

@jensjourney I've been craving salty too lately, lots of Greek salad and Clamato juice.

I haven't really changed my eating habits yet, but I am starving all the time! I am eating the same as I usually do, and I am full when I stop eating, but not even an hour later my stomach is growling. It's making me make bad choices. I keep reaching for things I usually don't eat, like chips or ice cream! I'm already slightly overweight (according to the dang BMI), so I am trying not to gain too much, but it's going to be a struggle.
Way more than usual, but not as healthy as I should be. Was so looking forward to a hamburger at a family BBQ tonight, prepped my bun and everything, and then I saw someone bite into theirs and seeing the meat made me gag and feel nauseas
I went to the store yesterday and loaded up on fruits, veggies, and yogurt. I'm also trying to plan meals that are high in protein and veggies. I even bought decaf coffee.
What are you all eating for breakfast? I know cereal isn't the best, but I'm already sick of eggs. I try not to eat too many carbs, so I usually avoid bagels and pancakes and whatnot. Any suggestions?
@krjones328 I think that is going to vary for everyone. I normally eat healthy too, but the last couple days cannot look at protein, so I am going to eat what my body will let me, in this case, carbs, or maybe a protein smoothie to help me get those greens and protein in. It's tough when people start making you feel bad for not eating healthy, so just eat what you can and do it in moderation if at all possible. Most likely most of us will get to a point where just saltines will be a win.
ETA: I have eaten a bowl of honey nut cheerios every night before bed so I don't wake up starving, and every morning before breakfast to stop me from vomiting...gotta do what you gotta do! Oh and I just had a bagel after my cereal...!

As a stm who ate way too much unhealthy food and gained way too much weight with my last pregnancy, my plan this time around is to really try and only eat when I'm actually hungry and to eat food that I make myself. No fast food after work everyday!
@krjones328 I've been having breakfast smoothies quite a bit, or banana with peanut butter, or breakfast burrito (homemade). Here's the smoothie recipe I've been making. My friend was gaining a lot of weight in her pregnancy and her OB gave her this recipe. I actually started making it even before I was PG. It's a little unique. My sister loves it and made it for me. It kinda had to grow on me. 1/2 c. Milk 1 banana 7-8+ ice cubes Fistful of walnuts 1 heaping TBSP cocoa 1tsp vanilla 1/4 tsp cinnamon

That looks awesome! I'll have to give it a shot. And I can always play with the recipe a little bit too to vary it up every now and then. Thanks!
