How old are your other kids (Share names if you would like)? S (9, SO's DS), A (7, my DS), H (almost 6, my DS)

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM or questions about things your children are going through now? Current challenge....my exhusbands SO is also pregnant so my kids are running around telling people they are going to have a baby sister and I am running recon explaining that it isn't me yet I am lying bc I am but we haven't told anyone yet!

And.Plus.Also. My oldest has severe anxiety we are just getting under control and I fear this will make it worse!

Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM: I'm just excited for this next chapter.

Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions: My nipples feel like razor blades and I am over it.

GTKY: What is your favorite kind of music? My children think its KidzBop but really anything but KidzBop would be great.

How old are your other kids (Share names if you would like)? DS is 3

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM or questions about things your children are going through now? DS has mild autism. I'm worried he is going to feel left out or like not my baby anymore. We are very attached to each other since the divorce was a hard transition and made me a single mom for a couple years. We just got settled In with my new DH and he loves our family dynamic and his routine and I'm just worried about the change. That song by Mariah Carey came on, you'll always be my baby, I ugly cried.

Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM: I'm just happy I worked out the kinks with the first one. Like heartburn, I know what chews I like and what works, nausea? Now I know what works to help it and how to deal with it better. Just knowing what to expect is so much easier.

Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions: This baby is draining my soul. All I do is sleep and I work a fast paced job so me and the bean aren't getting along right now.

GTKY: What is your favorite kind of music? Umm I can't lie I made an N'SYNC station on my pandora and I'm loving the Brittany spears throwbacks. Really I love a little of everything.

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM or questions about things your children are going through now? Not really. I'm happy to say I'm completely at peace this go round

I can't wait to see DD as a big sister! And DS is totally old enough to get everything this time. It's going up be fun

I'm worried about just managing 3 kids 5 and under. This little one is a surprise and I totally wasn't prepared for it. My son won't even be 2 when this one is born

@K&Elizabeth is kept doing that to me from my phone. Freaking annoying. Also my first two children are 15 months apart....2 under 2 is a challenge at first but they will be best buddies as they grow!

Marlo (son) is 16 months.

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM or questions about things your children are going through now? Had a couple days this week where the nausea was making me not want to move, and I felt bad that DS had to entertain himself. He's pretty good at playing on his own and doesn't want my participation usually anyways, but it still made me feel extra crappy. I don't remember nausea this early last time, so a bit scared I've got hell coming my way.

Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM: I really love the phase my DS is in right now. He's mostly happy, he's saying new words all the time, he's full of joy running around outside, and I think he's going to love the fun that comes with summer (pools, spray pads, etc), and this is after him being a pretty fussy and difficult baby his whole first year. Allows me to fully enjoy these last months with him as my only baby and to reassure myself that even if the next one is as difficult as he was, it gets better.

Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions: I'm dying to tell everyone. Last time I had things all planned out for how we were going to tell who and when and now I just want to blurt it out. I've tried to organize it where whole families are together so they can be told all at once and it's not working out so I'm just at the point where I don't care, I'm yelling at such and such event and if people are missing oh well!

GTKY: What is your favorite kind of music? Anything that gets me dancing

How old are your other kids (Share names if you would like)? Jackson is 3, and Henry is 10-1/2 months

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM or questions about things your children are going through now? I have some guilt, similar to when I got pregnant with Henry, that I'm robbing him of his time as the baby. Otherwise, I'm mainly just anticipating the challenge of going through the first trimester symptoms chasing a preschooler and a borderline toddler. I wish I'd really cherished the time during my first pregnancy when I could just curl up in a ball on the couch for some uninterrupted sleep!

Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM: I'm excited to watch the relationships/friendships develop and observe the interactions between my kiddos as they grow.

Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions: I have naturally low progesterone levels during the first trimester, so I started progesterone supplements last night. They are "troches" that you have to let dissolve underneath your tongue. They're flavored like smarties and are sickeningly sweet. Just thinking about them makes me want to gag. Not looking forward to choking these down every night for the next 8 weeks!

GTKY: What is your favorite kind of music? I like most kinds of music, but I actually play old-time folk and bluegrass music - I play the hammered dulcimer and the fiddle.

E- DD, 3 yr, A-DD, 14 months

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM or questions about things your children are going through now? I'm not looking forward to first trimester exhaustion, nausea, general feelings of death and having to be a mom to two small children.

Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM:
My oldest is potty trained! We are at a pretty good place right now. A decent routine, the girls are playing pretty well together most days. My older DD loves babies so I'm sure she'll be really excited, she was a great big sister from the start with A, but I think she'll enjoy it even more being a little older.

Can it be second tri now? Why can't we just do second tri for 9 months? It's my favorite.

GTKY: What is your favorite kind of music?
I like instrumental music. I'm boring.

I haven't really told the kids yet. Waiting until after my first appointment.

Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM:
Telling the older kids they will have a new sibling. They had been asking for awhile but DH and I thought we were done....suprise!

GTKY: What is your favorite kind of music?
I grew up listening to country and Garth Brooks in particular. In middle and High School I was all about Britney Spears and NSYNC. In college I was into Simple Plan and Green Day. I'm really not picky about my music I tend to enjoy it all.

1) 5 weeks 2 days

2) N just turned 4 on 5/10. G turns 3 on 6/9. P turns 2 on 9/25.

3) my kids are so young they really don't care yet. We tell the older two and they say they if they want a brother or sister (my daughter says she wants two girl babies!) they don't talk about it unless asked though.

4) just so freakin happy. H has health issues right now so I am kind of alone in this excitement but I know he will get there.

5) favorite music is country! Any and all!

3 feels scary to me, I feel a lot of stress and anxiety about and I hate that it's taking from what should be such a happy time

I love that I get to pregnant again, while it has its cons i just feel blessed to be carrying another child

The fact that because we live with in a mile of the school my son gets zero transportation and with a new baby coming I just hate it because I don't trust letting him walk by himself with all the crazies in the world. My niece is In the same district and they won't even let her off the bus if someone isn't standing out for her, but my son can walk out the doors and that's that they don't check to see if he's with his parents anyone could take him if I'm not there. Whew I was more heated by that than I thought

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM or questions about things your children are going through now? We started TTC nearly 2 years ago so I am somewhat sad about the bigger age gap. But my brother and I were close in age and we aren't close as adults so I know age gaps don't make or break a sibling relationship.

Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM: DS is pretty self sufficient these days, so it will be a relief to have him as a tiny helper (he's great at fetching the remote

Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions: It hasn't quite set it but I'm very happy to be pregnant. It's been a long IF journey and I'm hoping this baby sticks and gives DS a sibling.

GTKY: What is your favorite kind of music? I like pop/musicals/rock/punk. I listened to the Hamilton soundtrack most of last year. DH and I mainly listen to BSB or *NSYNC pandora stations in the car together.

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM or questions about things your children are going through now? I'm worried about having enough time for both kids, I'm worried that DS won't be potty trained in time and we'll have two in diapers, I'm worried that our house is going to be cramped when we turn our 3rd bedroom into a nursery instead of the guest room/perpetual clean laundry pile. Fortunately these are all minor in the grand scheme of things.

Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM: I'm so much more relaxed during this pregnancy. We've always planned to have two kids so there's a sense of this pregnancy being the one that completes our family.

Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions: The fatigue is killing me, I'm ready for second trimester already!

GTKY: What is your favorite kind of music? Generally the same stuff I've listened to for years. Depending on my mood that can be indie rock, old country, 90's alternative, classic rock, pop music from around 1999, or the soundtrack to Les Miserables played at full volume in my car with me singing along (horribly).

How old are your other kids (Share names if you would like)? DS just turned 2 in April and a step son who is 9 (unfortunately we only see him 3 weeks a year).

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM or questions about things your children are going through now? Honestly our biggest concern at the moment is affording childcare. We will be paying more than our mortgage for 2 kids. At least we have some time to work towards that.

Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM: DS doesn't understand that he is going to be a big brother but he has been pointing out babies when we are out. This makes my heart so happy thinking he is going to love being a big brother.

Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions: Just impatiently waiting for that first appointment at the end of June. I don't know if reality will sink in until I hear that heartbeat!

GTKY: What is your favorite kind of music? I love country and pop! My DH really only listens to country and classic country. I just recently started listening to pop music again and I don't have a clue who any of the artists are.

My DD is entering the stereotypical toddler phase, tons of sass. Should be a fun ride...

Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM:

Happy to be pregnant!! We wanted them really close in age but I didn't start my cycle until she was like 13 months old and it took a few months to "get lucky"

Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions:
we have already laughed at how much more laid back this pregnancy is. Even those our first one ended in loss, our second was very easy and healthy and so I am looking (HOPING) for another happy 9 months. 1st appt with ultrasound is June 30th and can't wait!

GTKY: What is your favorite kind of music?
little bit of everything but lately I have Eric church or trolls soundtrack or Moana soundtrack on repeat
